  • THE ORIGINAL WRAP WITHOUT THE WRAPPING: Ready-to-wear out of the box, easily switch between five different carry positions without the confusion or frustration of a traditional wrap. The Baby K’tan Baby Carrier’s patented double-loop design, natural cotton fabric, and unique one-way stretch slips on like a t-shirt and is comfortable and secure for preemies, newborns, infants and toddlers. Safe for babies birth up to 35 lbs.
  • FIT FOR YOU: From XXS to XL, the Baby K'tan Baby Carrier is sized to fit the parent or adult carrying the child; age or weight of child is not a factor. USE SIZING CHART. Each person is shaped differently. Like clothing, some people may fit into more than one size or fall in-between sizes. If in-between sizes or unsure of sizing, SIZE DOWN. The cotton fabric has more stretch than structured carriers. Use pre-pregnancy size to determine your Baby K'tan Baby Carrier size.
  • HIP HEALTHY AND SECURE: The International Hip Dysplasia Institute has acknowledged the Baby K'tan Baby Carrier as a "hip-healthy" product when used as directed. The Baby K'tan Baby Carrier's wide fabric loops support ergonomic positioning for hip healthy development and provide soft head support for baby. The Baby K'tan Baby Carrier's adjustable connector loop provides optimal back support for the parent or adult wearing the child.
  • EASY TO CLEAN, CONVENIENT: Made of 100% natural cotton knit, the ORIGINAL Baby K’tan Baby Carrier is as comfortable as it is easy to keep clean. Machine washable, dryer safe. All Baby K'tan Baby Carriers come in a matching carry bag that converts to a sash which provides added support for certain positions. Simply turn the carry bag inside out and it turns into a sash with a convenient pocket. When you are finished using the sash, turn in right-side in and you have a carry bag to hold your Baby K'tan Baby Carrier.
  • EASY AS 1-2-3: The Baby K'tan Baby Carrier enables hands-free, buckle-free, hassle-free babywearing anytime, anywhere. Take your Baby K'tan Baby Carrier out of the carry bag, double up the loops like a necklace or scarf, put the carrier over your head with the connector loop behind your neck, place one arm through each loop and then lower the outer loop to your hip. Now you are ready for one of the five positions of the Baby K'tan Baby Carrier.

I had a second hand Baby K'tan original which I thought was too small, but liked it enough to get a new one. I purchased one of each style to compare. According to the charts, I am a size L. I am 5'4" with a large chest and wide torso, so I assumed I would not have to go down a size. I've included pictures of the fabric for the Breeze (teal) and Active (coral). I liked the color selection of the original, and the price, but it seemed as though it would be the hottest of the three styles. It's soft, comfortable, and obviously is loved by many baby wearers, but is a thick fabric. This attests to the quality of the wrap, but not the most comfortable to wear during the summer. It stretches as described, but just enough for mom and baby to be comfortable. I feel that as he grows, it will stretch more with his increasing weight, thus fitting us for a while. I had to go down a size on this style because his bottom was below my naval/hips. The Breeze was my least favorite of the three. There are very few colors to chose from, and half of the wrap is the same cotton blend as the original. The mesh section of the wrap reminds me of gym shorts; it only stretches a little, and feels a little scratchy against the skin. It would definitely make the wrap much cooler for baby or mom, but not both. This was true to size for me, but may be too small for others. I ended up liking the Active the best because it felt as though it would be the coolest during the summer heat. I do NOT like the color selection, but I do like the UV protection and the fact that the fabric wicks moisture (not tested, but assuming due to the item description). I put my hand in the fabric of each of these wraps, and this seemed just as cool as the Breeze, but for both mom and baby. This wrap seemed to stretch the most of the three. I have to go down a size with this one, but I do think it is the best option for us (despite the stinkin' color choices).

I have the Ergobaby so I didn't think I'd need this. Buy this is good for: 1. Newborns - because it's softer and closer to your body 2. For parties - the ergobaby is too bulky for parties. The k'tan works perfectly. 3. Looking stylish - when you wear it without baby it's like a nice scarf. When you wear it w baby it looks like a shirt. I love my k'tan. I have a Moby too but I haven't work it yet. It seems very complicated.

I love this carrier for the following reasons: 1) AWESOME for breastfeeding in public - and this is coming from a first-time mom with a 9wk old. Breastfeeding is HARD - and this makes it easier. That alone makes it worth the investment. I wear this out like an infinity scarf, and when kiddo gets hungry, I slip the loops on (just follow instructions in package) and pop her in. The K'tan supports her weight so my arms don't get tired and my back doesn't hurt... and I can have a free hand if needed - and can even nurse standing up/ walking around!!! I wore it the other day while feeding in public at a sandwich shop and at least 3 guys walked by me and were clearly oblivious to the fact I was nursing. Worn with my favorite nursing top by a company called LaClef (https://www.amazon.com/LaClef-Doubled-Maternity-Breastfeeding-Charcoal/dp/B01IYMU2M6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1478883341&sr=8-4&keywords=laclef), you can do stealthy feeding anywhere. I bought a 2nd k'tan in a different color for this exact purpose. 2) It's far easier to put on than a Moby, but with essentially the same functionality. To be clear, Moby is also great for babywearing - and Moby has the added bonus of being adjustable which K'Tan is not - but it's not realistic to put on a Moby when you're away from home/ anywhere with a dirty floor, while the K'tan is truly a "go-anywhere" product. Now, there are some "cons". First, sizing is tough. The size calculator had me in a size Med. I'm 5'7" and weigh 165 right now (~155 pre-baby), with 36DDD (36C pre-baby). I put on the medium and it felt huge, especially when my daughter was only 5 wks (~8lbs) - so I exchanged it for a small, which felt much better. Fast forward 4 weeks, she's now 10lbs and the size small feels REALLY tight now, like it might be squeezing her uncomfortably when I baby-wear. BUT the small is fine for nursing (maybe even better than a Med), so I use it for that, and in a pinch for babywearing - but I did go back to buy a second wrap in size medium (again). I used the excuse that I wanted a different color. :) Lots of reviewers talked about the material stretching out, but I haven't noticed that at all with my size small. I guess the moral of the story is to follow the sizing calculator on the Baby K'Tan website - or plan to buy 2 (size a small down for newbs <10lbs, then use the recommended size for over 10lbs). :) But overall, the fact that there isn't a way to adjust it - that's a bummer. Second "con" is that there are Tags. All. Over. There's a GIANT white satin tag with "WARNING: SUFFOCATION HAZARD" in bright red ink and "how to use" instrutions/ pictures in blue and red ink tag sewn into one of the loops. Plus a Baby K'Tan tag on the other loop. PLUS a Baby K'Tan tag on the piece of material in the back that holds the 2 loops together, as well another larger white satin tag that's sewn in with washing instructions, and a 3rd "hanging" tag that has washing instructions in other languages. AND another Baby K'Tan tag on the "seatbelt" wrap. JEEZ! Like I said, I wear the carrier as an infinity scarf (one less thing to stuff into my diaper bag, plus I never have to worry about not having it if I'm already wearing it)... but I've had several occasions where I look down at my "chic infinity scarf" and see "WARNING: SUFFOCATION HAZARD" in bright red lettering on a white satin tag instead. Not so stealthy. Yes, I could probably grab a seam-ripper and spend an hour carefully cutting the tags (mostly) out. In all my free time. As a working-full-time-mom-of-a-9-wk-old. Riiiight. Minor complaint, but a complaint none-the-less. Overall, if you're considering baby-wearing and/ or need a confidence booster/ tool for nursing in public, buy this wrap. I bought both of mine as "open box" deals on amazon and saved a couple bucks. One had been previously opened/ tried on but still had all the tags. The second was completely brand new/ never opened, but the outer cardboard box was totally squished. Just wash before you wear (I'd do that regardless) and it's fine. Good luck, mamas! Happy baby-wearing and nursing!!!

I LOVE this carrier. Make sure to watch the “how to” video instructions on the K’tan website. Much better than the pamphlet that comes with the wrap. I would watch a video and then practice it in the mirror with my baby. Using it becomes second nature after you’ve practiced a dozen times or so. It’s so easy to use and it fits well in my diaper bag. There are several positions you can do with this carrier and as your baby gets older you can do more positions. My baby was 2 months old in this picture. I’m 5’5 125lbs and I got the XS in Heather Gray. NOW comes to my only problem with the K’tan. When my baby was 8 months, the carrier was feeling a bit tight for both of us. I expected this and just ordered the next size up - a size S except in Eggplant purple this time. The Eggplant is NOT the same material as the gray. Even after washing with fabric softener it is still very stiff. It feels like the same size as the XS because it doesn’t have that little bit of stretch to get it over your shoulders and put baby in. Amazon has a generous return policy so I will be returning it but I don’t want to risk trying other colors for fear that the material will be stiff like the purple. So unfortunately I will be ordering Gray again. Really this is a fantastic carrier and I will be sad when my baby no longer fits in it. If you end up not liking the purple try it in gray, or maybe size up.

Fits great! We love our ktan this is the 2nd owned, as our first is tucked away in storage. This is far easier than a Moby or boba wrap. The only i wish is that it breathed a little more but I suppose that would possibly degrade the integrity of the materials strength and ability to hold baby! I know they make a lighter weight ktan but I wanted to be able to wear all year, and worried about the for being different. I'm told now that the for does not differ. Baby is cozy, I feel confident grocery shopping or whatever with baby tucked snuggly in this! I'm plus sized 3x top, 44h bra the xl works perfectly for us, even a little space to grow which is still kept snug by the extra sash!

I have others baby carrier and the K'tan is my favorite and so much easier to use. I was able to put my son in it and use it within just a couple minutes of opening the box without assistance from anyone else! It is light and compact and it's versitle. Ready-To-Wear: No wrapping - No hardware It is comfortable and ergonomic, I have back issues and it doesn't cause me pain to carry my baby in it: this is perfect for anyone who has back pain because it evenly distributes the weight so your back wont hurt. My son is so comfortable in this wrap and he instantly calms down when i wear him! Sometimes when we go on walks he doesn't want to stay in the stroller , for me its almost impossible to carry him and push the stroller at the same time but this makes it really handy. It's also great when I am home by myself and need to get stuff done but he insists on being held. The K'tan washes very well and folds up small for easy travel! It’s also priced well compared to some of the other baby carriers and wraps. I'm 150 lb and tall 5'7" and fit size L

I CANNOT stop talking about how much I love this wrap. First, I'll start with the fact that I'm roughly 165lbs and 5'5", wear a size ten pants and medium shirts. I ordered a size medium and it fits great. It'll shrink with the wash a bit, but will stretch out nicely. I'll add that I've tried ring slings and kangaroo pouches and this still tops those for me, by a bazillion. Description: This wrap has two parts; two "infinity scarf" like loops that are connected by a small single loop. The other part is a long piece meant to wrap around the bottom for some types of carry positions. This piece also has a convenient pouch that you can store the whole wrap in. Why I love it: -SO easy to use. The instructions that come with are pictures and step by step and SUPER easy to follow. -The material is LOVELY. Soft, comfortable, and breathable. I am a sweaty momma and this thing is nice. -After trying other pouches and having serious frustration with how difficult it was for me to figure out how to even just put babe in one of them SAFELY and COMFORTABLY, this is hands down, such a headache free option by comparison. If you're like me and don't like having to do tons of trial and error and just want something that comes out of the box ready to go, this is the wrap carrier for you. -As someone with not the greatest back, so far this has been a comfortable carrier. -It feels SAFE. I can honestly say it easy simple to position her safely and comfortably in this thing, and get her in and out without assistance. Tips: Give your baby time to like this. I think with any new thing you put baby in, starting with slow and short introductions is key. My baby was not a fan at first, but has come to love it after a few wears. Cons: -Only I can wear this. My husband is 6'3" and 200lbs, and this would not fit him. - There is a huge warning tag sewn into this thing, which is important, but the seams of it are scratchy and if I don't have this positioned just right it could rub up on baby girl. -Get the sizing just right. I was lucky, I got it right the first time, but if you really aren't sure I know you can reach out to the company for assistance. Overall I would buy this again, and I would recommend it to a friend.

I originally bought the Breeze and had to return it because the mesh just wasn't stretchy enough. This one is perfect though! For size reference; I am 5'3", 120(pre-pregnancy), and 135(post-pregnancy) and a 36c bra pre-pregnancy and now a 36dd, and I ordered the x-small; my baby is 8 weeks at 12 lbs and fits well. It is a little snug (I did wash it), but baby does feel secure and Baby K'tan says it will stretch a bit over time to grow with your baby. I do prefer the all cotton one so much better! Feels softer than the mesh did. So far so good! Baby is cozy! I'll update if anything changes!! **UPDATE** I ended up ordering a small just to see if the fit was better and I couldn't decide! I called Baby K'tan customer service and spoke with a wonderful lady named Jamie and she helped me figure out what size was the best. And X-Small it was! She asked some questions to determine correct sizing and shared a few tips on how to stretch it out a bit before I put my LO in so he wasn't smushed, and where exactly he should be sitting on my body. Fabulous customer service!! Thank you Baby K'tan!

Absolutely in LOVE with this carrier. I have used several in the past...Bjorn, Ergo (with and without the infant insert), Baby Hawk and a few other wrap type carriers. This BY FAR is the best for small infants. I do still have my Ergo and enjoy using that once my children are at least 8 months old. I am so comfortable while using this and so is my daughter. She is 4 weeks old and about 9 pounds. She pretty much falls asleep every time I have her in this. I love how easy it is to use and that there aren't long pieces to wrap and mess with. That is one reason why I didnt love my Baby Hawk and other wrap carriers. The straps were so long and just a hassle for me. As far as sizing for this carrier, their website has a guide that I suggest using to ensure you get the correct size. It will be tight at first but will stretch out a little bit. I am 5'5 and 160lbs, dress size 8-10. I ordered a small and it is the perfect fit.

As the dad of twin infants this is among the top 10 baby items that make things work in our house. We got a Medium and that turns out to work well for us. My wife is smaller framed than me and we are both about 5’8”. We shrunk it and that helped. This is so much better than the Moby and other products that require you to become a contortionist or make wearable origami, which I’m terrible at. The K’tan has lots of different positions and I most often use it for the ‘hug’ position which both of my kids like. I’ve only used this in the house and on short walks. As they get older I will use in other scenarios too. It allows me to do dishes, feed/ change one kid while holding the other, have more bonding time, take out the garbage, and any other number of things. I get 2x as much done when I wear it which allows my wife to take a nap or rest.
