love em. yes, no boiling liquids, but i cut mine with cold water and then put in the boiling water for my tea. no problems thus far. one dropped and it broke, but did not shatter, they are well built and it beats drinking out of plastic

Great stable drinking mugs

These are about the same size as the handled jars/mugs you might find at Michaels... decent size for a large drink. They're thick and sturdy and won't spill that easily. Even better, I purchased some regular ball lids with bands and they fit the jars perfectly! I now use these to store juice and overnight oats in the fridge, where we can just unscrew the lids and have breakfast or juice in the morning. :)

Cute, country wedding favors!

I looked everywhere before I bought these drinking jars off amazon. They had the best price and more importantly the cheapest shipping rate! Every other website I found them on they were charging more for the shipping than the actual cost of the jars. We ordered 8 cases so shipping was a major cost to consider. The $7.50 shipping cost was for all 8 cases, not a per case rate!! I actually called Shoplet's customer service just to make sure the price was for all of the cases not per case. Their customer service rep was very polite and also gave me an expected arrival date for the package. The only thing I was slightly disappointed about was that Shoplet does not provide tracking. We used them as favors at our wedding, they fit perfectly since we got married on a farm! The jars are very cute and are made of sturdy, heavy glass. We kept four of them for our own use and we love them. My husband wasn't keen on the rooster image on them at first but once they came in he ended up really liking them. We ordered 8 cases and of those 8 cases only 5 jars were broken. We had actually expected more to arrive broken so we ended up with extra. The jars also arrived very quickly, I bought them only two weeks before our wedding and had them within 5 days. Again for only $7.50 in shipping! In short - the best deal I could find on really cute, sturdy drinking jars with fast, cheap!! shipping.

Libbey county fair drinking jar

These are awesome, we use them every day! They got knocked together quite a bit already, and didn't break. They are as heavy as canning jars, but say "do not use for hot liquids"? We haven't tried that, so I'm not sure... I put chalkboard labels on them, and used liquid chalk to write my children's names on. Now after we use them, we rinse and turn upside down on a rack. Wash them when we wash other dishes...

great glasses

Great item so far! I did just receive them today so we will see how they stand up in time but they seem to be great quality, very thick glass. Hopefully my kids won't be able to break them too easily!!! Very cute design

Perfect for the Rooster Kitchen :)

These glasses are perfect in my French Country rooster kitchen. I bought this set of 12 over 3 yrs ago, with 5 kids + husband, & they are finally now at the point where I need to replenish them. Believe me, in this house - that's a miracle! I have even had to replace my new silverware (serving of 12) already, before this! These glasses are a nice heavy thicker glass, have an "old-school" classic look & feel to them while still being very chic and new - very French Country... Love these!!!

Great for cocktails, or maybe even lemonade...

I was specifically looking for these glasses after seeing them at a friend's party. Perfect for a summer BBQ, these have a certain rustic look and feel that everyone can relate to. I immediately dropped one of the twelve (Not on purpose... probably) on my tile floor. It clanked around, but survived without even a chip. I'll use these for around the house, and entertaining. Classic design, and somehow cheaper than the plain sided version? You won't hear me complaining!

Nice Drinking Jars

Nice and sturdy drinking jars Originally I tried to find them in a larger size, but they do actually hold more than it looks like. I mostly use mine for cold beverages like iced tea so I haven't had any problems with breakage for those of you who do, just put a metal spoon into the glass to help disperse the heat and be sure to pour slowly. I have used mine in the microwave a couple of times to reheat a coffee drink and had no problems but it was only for about 25 seconds so I'm really not sure as to how they will hold up with microwave use.
