Excellent price, same as aquarium stress coat. I think it's cheaper because it's marketed for ponds, not aquarium. It's a higher concentration too! I use far less stress coat and spend less. Win win.

I love my Koi. I love my pond. But am I going to set aside large quantities of water to replace a percentage of my pond water when I backflush? Uhhh no! So my Koi enjoy a rainlike experience when I use a sprinkler to both replace pond water and water my landscape. The sprinkler helps get rid of some chlorine and Pondcare Stress Coat takes the worries out if I don't get rid of all the nasty stuff. Hey and the Koi get some spa treatment with the other stress coat benefits. Happy Koi, Happy Owner..er Caretaker

Bought this to help treat the tap water that I use whenever I change the water in my mini patio pond. Works great. Fishes aren't dead after a few days like they were before (that's happened a few times when I didn't use any water treatments after a water change). It's kind of expensive, but the bottle will last you a year if you do frequent water changes. You can put the fishes immediately into the water too, instead of waiting for the chemicals to evaporate like you would normally need to without treatment. It's safe for plants, I have water lilies, creeping jenny, and other aquatic plants and it's never harmed them.

I'm using this for my outdoor fish pond. I've had some instances where I've lost a lot of water due to pump failure and while adding water my gold fish would be very stressed and gasping for air. Using this when that happens or just for adding water has meant no more gasping fish! Works just as advertised and instantly.

I have been using this product for 12 years in my large pond and in my 30 gallon indoor tank. My city water has chloramine in it which is fatal to fish and it keeps my fish healthy and free of all the scale issues like ich, etc. Well worth the money, I use it once a week outside in my 1,000 gallon pond and inside. My 33 pond fish lived 8 years until a storm came and knocked out the electric for 5 days. This new group of 55 fish-most born here-are growing happily and are 3 years old now.

I accidently left water running into my pond overnight. The next morning there was white foam on the pond and the fish were listless. I went to a local pond store that specializes in koi and asked what to do. Two " experts " told me to expect all my fish to die within a week because I'd poisoned them with chlorine and other chemicals from the hose. My roommate didn't want to give up on the fish, so we bought a bottle of the API chemical treatment and one of API stress coat. I put both in the pond as the bottles recommended and all 9 of my koi survived (it's now two years later). Now I add the stress coat anytime I need to add water to the pond.

This large bottle is significantly cheaper per ounce than the same product sold in smaller containers at my local store. I will definitely buy this again in order to add to tap water before changing water in the tank.

If your Koi ever get stressed or sick, this stuff is my "go to"!! It puts the "slime coat" back on my Koi, and "calms" the fish, and it's great for the pond water too!! Definitely keep this product on hand! Will buy from seller again!

When we first built our pond, we were noticing our fish getting sores on their bodies. Several fish ended up dying. Stress Coat was recommended and I have been very pleased with the results. Every time I add water to the pond I add some Stress Coat according to package directions. I really notice the improved health with my fish. I only need to use Algae Fix and Stress Coat in the pond to keep it clean and clear. Both must be working since my fish seem to be thriving.
