My go-to for wood screws, exterior and interior. Great quality, great variety of sizes.
My go-to for wood screws, exterior and interior. I've used these to build bookshelves, a large outdoor planter, and smaller decorative pieces. Great quality, great variety of sizes, and both the coating and design help to prevent stripping.

Great construction, great product
I bought these to secure some plywood and fence boards in place, but have found myself using them more and more often for other projects. The only think I may have done differently was order a shorter size as 2.5 inches is pretty long. But that doesn't reflect poorly on the product just my underestimating of how long it would be.

Screws that do the job
I originally bought these screws for building my sons sandbox. I wanted some strong screws that would hold up to the elements. Overall this is an awesome screw design. It is a little thicker than a normal drywall screw (which most people seem to use for wood anyway) and grips the wood really well. I’ve had other screws in the past that the heads fall right off unless I drilled pilot holes. No pilot holes were used for these screws. They have a unique pozisquare design so you can use either a Phillips or square bit. But they provide a pozisquare bit anyway so I just used that. After my sons sandbox was complete, I realized that I made it way too big. So I took the screws out with an impact driver. I first used a corded drill so I stripped some of the screws pretty bad already. Once I used my impact with the pozisquare bit, the screws came right out and I was able to reuse all of them. I’ve used up all of the screws since then and I’ve been very happy with their strength and quality. I would recommend for any outdoor project.

Very tough screws.
Used these screws for a small project that snowballed into something much larger than I anticipated. Because of this, I had to screw and unscrew quite a few times. They held up great, even through all my mistakes.

Pozisquare is a winner.
These hybrid phillips/square-drive screws are great. I had probably 90% fewer incidents of cam-out over using similar philips screws on the same project. The only times I had cam-out were at weird angles and in wood knots. And that's more my fault than anything.

Perfect for my uses
I only got screws on amazon because I was too lazy to drive that day, these to my surprise were a really good buy. The 75 ct 3" work perfect to more permanently connect my metal door hardware on my door frame/studs for an incredibly solid feel

Great Screws for the Money
Fantastic! 3 inch gold color, deck screws, pressure treated, just keep in mind the POZISQUARE drive. Coated for ACQ treated lumber, copper azole, cedar, & redwood. Strong. Sturdy. You won't be disappointed.

Wat Better Value than big box home improvement stores
Great!! Will continue to purchase them for my wooden fencing. The value is phenomenal in comparison to home improvement stores cost for the same screws!!

Highly recommend.
I purchased these screws to fix an exterior wooden door that was falling apart (the nails holding it together were coming out). Although the nails were coming out and the wood is weathered, these screws worked extremely well. I highly suggest drilling pilot holes since these screws are 3 inches. Highly recommend.

Absolutely great product!!
I have been using FastenMaster's GuardDog screws for some time now and I HIGHLY recommend them. I have ordered and used other square drive screws from other manufacturers (some very well known) and nothing compares with these screws. For one thing, their coatings have not clogged up the square drive area in the top of the screw head like one particular supplier. Also, the head is a combo Square Drive/Phillips (bit provided) which is even stronger though I generally use just a #2 square drive bit - but you do have the three options. I have used several different lengths on projects ranging from building a deck, a porch, an extension of rooms onto my workshop for storage and many, many other projects not quite so large. As far as price goes, I have found this product to be very competitive and worth every dime.
