Great toy, we have tons which is so fun

My son loves these so much. This is the third time he’s asked for them for his bday. He gets so creative with his building, I’m always impressed. We have so many now, and all different shapes which is so fun. Just buy the regular kits, don’t go for any that come with themes like log cabin or vehicles. Just let the kids create with their own imagination

Pricey!! But worth it, kids love it.

Very cool! But pricey for the amount of pieces, even though they are sturdy. I got the 62 piece set and my 5 and 3 year old love them, but they both love to build and are finding them self short for pieces! I think it’s worth buying another set or two so my husband and I can share one, and give them another to share so they can fulfill their little imaginations! Cool toy for sure.

These magformers are quite expensive compared to other magnetic building toys but my toddlers love them! I'm going to be forced to get a bigger set because they're always telling me they don't have enough :) these are the new legos I believe!

Fun for all ages!

We got these for our almost 3 year old for Christmas and he really likes them. Right now he mainly just stacks them and matches the colors but I am certain that as he gets older he will have as much fun building with them as the adults did! He saw a design in the manual that comes with it and I asked him to bring me the required number of each shape so that we can build it from the picture and he was amazed.

Great toy for all ages!

Great toy for kids. My daughter (10) ended up using her imagination more with these than her legos. We had purchased a small set prior to this set and found this to add to her set. It's a great gift and toy to have around, especially if you have multiple kids in your home with older and little ones in the house. They are not a choking hazard at all. Great product!

Fantastic buy!

Think these will be a nice & more easily handled basic first set of magnetic toys for our grandson

Gosh - sure are a lot of various magnetic construction sets out there! I'd heard about them as I was looking around for Christmas ideas for our 4-1/2 year old grandson, but also got a little confused - there are SO many to choose from, including Magformers, Super Magformers, Magna-Tiles, Playmags, Picasso Tiles, Tegu Blocks, and each of them has fans! After reading up on each, I settled on this 62-piece basic set - they're pricey, as far as the size of our wallet, but I like the cutouts on these that should make them easier for our grandson to hold - Super Magformers have cutouts as well, but they're larger than these regular ones (though I do hear that neither type of Magformers stand up on their own due to their rounded sides, and the insides of the shapes have cylindrical magnets which spin around, so you have to stack them one by one - takes a bit longer to clean up after play and takes up a bit more space from what I can gather.) I'm considering Tegu - which are actually wooden magnetic blocks - for our 2 year old grandson, but I think our 4-1/2 year old little guy will really get a kick out of these! As the description says, there are 12 pentagons, 20 triangles and 30 squares... the sides of each pentagon and square are 2-1/2", and of each traiangle are 2". I love that each shape is a striking 2-tone color, whether turquoise/dark blue, yellow/pink, purple/green orange/red - very cool looking and eye-catching! There's a model booklet enclosed that shows a variety of available sets... with this particular set, your youngster can build things like a hourglass, fish, heart, microphone, house, UFO, a couple of different rockets, stars and buildings, 3-D shapes like a cube or hexagonal prism, and others I've NEVER heard of but are sure fun to try and pronounce... tetrahedron, octahedron, cuboctahedron, icosahedron, dodecahedron, icosidodecahedron and rhombicuboctahedron - goodness gracious! (One thing to note... I took a "sneak peek" - as grandmas are allowed to do! - and while the outside box is sturdy, the tray inside that holds the shapes is super flimsy. Might want to have something else available to store the pieces in.)
