Fit perfectly on my 2012 Silverado LT. Very easy install and looks great. Been on for 6 months now with no issues and still in perfect shape after 20K miles.

I like the way this installs compared to other options

I had another Hoodflector that broke off under the weight of snow that had hardened on my hood. That was because of the design of the other item. It only had two small points at which it attached to my truck. (2011 Silverado Ext. Cab) This model contacts the underside of the hood in a lot larger area which is much better, hearty. Install was easy with good instructions. I would recommend this product to friends, enemies, and other people types. It just good.

Super easy installation and is very much low profile. I can not see it from inside the truck peeking over the front of the hood. It looks sharp on my 2011 Silverado and mounted securely and exactly the way the instructions explained.

so easy to install, a girl did it (me!)

I was a little confused by the rubber expansion nuts for a second but once I got out to my truck and fitted the shield to mark where the sticky strips needed to go, I figured out how they were supposed to work. From start to finish it took maybe 10 minutes to install and looks great. Only thing I might have done differently is gone with the taller shield. This low pro shield only spans about 1/2 - 3/4 up the front of the hood from the top of the grille. I have an '08 Silverado. The front of the hood is really tall before it curves over to the top to the actual hood surface. Rocks and debris may still catch that curved edge if they aren't deflected by the shield. I'm still giving 5 stars because that's a judgement call by me, not a design flaw in the shield.

The reason why I bought this Hood Protector is because of it's low profile. I didn't want to add anymore chrome because I didn't want my 2013 Silverado to look tacky. Quick, easy installation and looks really good , inspired me to black out my bow ties to match ..fits my 2011 silverado perfectly.. theres a lot of selections but this is the one you want .. worth the money, , doesnt vibrate, material is thick and durable, just a good product. Highly recommend !

Easy Installation But Too Low

Product had prealigned holes that matched up with my hood. Super easy to install without having to drill. Only issue I have is that its too narrow and doesn't stick up very high. You can't even see it when your inside the truck!!! Looks great on the outside but wish it were an inch or two taller.

looks great, makes no wind noise

used for a 2012 Silverado, GMT900 platform. After two years, there is a small crack around one of the screw holes but likely due to wear and tear from brushing snow off the truck and grabbing it while closing the hood. Has not effected its performance at all. A must have for this style truck, keeps stone chips off the hood, bugs off of the hood and windshield, looks great, makes no wind noise, and simple/quick to install.

2013 Silverado ventshade

The ventshade delivered quickly and in good condition. It was a piece of cake for one person to install. It fits the contour of the hood and adds to its style. My truck is white and it does a nice job of breaking up the white and looks really nice. It does seem to do a decent job of keeping bugs off of the hood but it does not have a large enough profile to keep them off of the windshield. I am happy with it and did actually purchase a second one.

I bought my first hood shield locally and was very unhappy with it because of the noise it created. On a trip it was so noisy I stopped at a roadside picnic area and removed the hood shield. I ordered this low-profile shield hoping it would work. It was half the price I paid for the first one so I figured I couldn't go wrong. The shield was delivered in 2 days with free shipping. Very easy to install and absolutely no wind noise. I like the low-profile. It looks great on my truck. You can't go wrong buying this item.
