Does a good job on winter ice. Here in Michigan, we are on our second bag this winter. Hope I don't need it again.

Wanted this for killing weeds and with boiling water poured on it, did an excellent job!

No other way to review this lol

It's heavy, I am sorry to the delivery guy. They really crammed it into a box that looked like it might have a paperback book inside. This guy was not pleased. But it was quality and my husband was happy.

This is great; as many might know solar salt can strip that top seal on your concrete then you get divest and cracks. This is all natural salt. so using it to melt ice to prevent growth in an area this is a good choice.

Calcium chloride melts the ice faster than the rock salt. But the application of rock salt after using calcium chloride keeps the ice from refreezing.

Morton's safe T salt is the absolute best rock salt product available today, and on Amazon the 25 lb bag is offered at a good price which includes shipping. If you want to safely melt ice & snow after bad snowstorms or blizzards, rock salt is the most effective way to keep yourself safe from slips and falls in winter. It may be slightly corrosive to your cement walk or driveway, but I would rather deal with that in the Spring than go to the ER with a broken ankle (my husband and I have both broken our ankles in the past, so we know of what we speak). I usually sprinkle a base coat of the salt down early in the storm, then it provides an easier post snow removal, and afterward I sprinkle it on icy patches and voila, a clean walkway. This even works in below freezing temps, so be safe everyone

Expensive but so worth it. It works so fast

It’s a bag of salt. That means it’s a bag that has salt in it. MURICA!

I really wanted to rent some goats to eat my weeds but the business doesn't exist in my area. I also can't have a pet goat due to zoning. So, I opted for this rock salt to kill my weeds. IT WORKS!!!
