BEST PAPER TOWEL HOLDER - EVAH !!!

Not only is this product nice to look at, it holds the largest of paper towel rolls, cleans like a breeze, appears that it will last a long long time, but mostly, it stays in place when I take a paper towel off. wish I had gotten this years ago - thanks for such a great product - p.s. I really should have known that it was going to be amazing - all the OXO products I have bought in the past have never failed to impress me.

OXO - you're going to love it

Perfect in every way. I have a kitchen island so I need this style of holder. It has good weight, balance and grip on the counter. Very easy to pull and tear off with one hand as many or few towels as you want. Extremely easy to change rolls. Nice solid knob on top to move with. The only thing about this that's not obvious is that it needs to be picked up by top knob. What looks like a handle on the side is the spring mechanism that holds the end towel in placel and acts as a stop for tearing off towels. It's the key that makes this so good. I don't know why I didn't just buy OXO in the first place.

Reasonably priced: great performance.

OK...this was one of many Mother's Day gifts: one of those things where the wife says, "I wish I had one of those towel stands that holds the side of the roll".....and I remembered... She and I are very pleased with the performance of the holder and the fact that the free end of the roll stays compactly closed. Our older one...great quality, but unfortunately does not have the side arm feature. I earned "points" for remembering....

Clean, one handed tear every time!

I purchased this OXO paper towel holder to replace one that had a suction cup base. As expected, this OXO paper towel holder meets and exceeds my expectations in quality and function. I like how the roll of towels just slides on in comparison to my old one where I had to remove the top. The brushed metal finish looks good and just adds to the sleek and modern design. But the most important thing is the weight of the OXO holder. I am able to remove a towel with one hand and get a clean tear every time without the holder moving. OXO never disappoints with the products they offer. I've included some photos where I have a double roll on the holder. I hope I've helped you with your choice. I can highly recommended this for your kitchen too!

Excellent One Handed Super Large Rolls

Excellent Holder! Even holds the extra large Costco paper towels. Works one handed as advertised. At work, I was using an inexpensive holder, and a full Costco roll wouldn’t fit! This is perfect! Works great, and it works better than the expensive ratchet paper towel holder we keep around the house for cleaning; this really is a one handed operation.

Indeed the best on the market

Bought a few cheaper ones with varying designs hoping they would be good. Those didn't work as expected and eventually went for this model. This is indeed the best on the market in terms of quality and functionality. The central bar is configured to rotate with towel roll when the user tears a towel off, and the total weight and non-slip base is sufficient to keep the holder in place without moving. The arm that presses on the towel works with jumbo rolls (e.g., Costco ones) from beginning to finish. Strongly recommend!

You won't be disappointed...

Best paper towel stand I have ever owned! Sturdy and well made with the perfect weighted base and gorgeous sleek stainless steel design. This does all it says it does and works just as it should without tipping over or sliding across the counter when trying to pull off one or even ten paper towels at a time. Glad I took the chance on it...looked at lots of them before deciding on it and it was a little more pricey. But, in this case, I really did get what I paid for!

Great Looking, Easy to keep Shiny, Dispenses Towels without Ripping or Shredding

I do not like wall paper towel dispensers. They seem so permanent. I want a paper towel holder that I can leave in one convenient place; but if I'm doing a task, I can move it to be near my task area. The OXO paper towel holder in brushed stainless steel is good looking, with a solid construction. It keeps a good hold on the paper towels, so as you pull, there is no ripping or shredding. The XOX paper towel holder is heavy enough so that it remains in place; it does not move even with a good tug. That's a very important feature for a free-standing paper towel holder. Neutral looking, but good looking, fitting into any decor, with a solid stainless steel build, the XOX paper towel holder makes the grade! Happy Days!

The OXO Good Grips towel holder lives up to its name

First off, if you're a little frustrated with the free spinning paper towel holders this is for you. I've been using this product for the past few months and recommend it without reservation. The design is well thought out, well made, and feels solid, I have no doubt that it will last many years. The brushed stainless steel is an attractive appearance, and is easily cleaned. Functionally it is closer to perfect than I thought possible, especially if you are sometimes frustrated with pulling more papertowels off the holder than you want. The thing to remember is to position it so that the arm that provides tension is in the back and not facing you, in that position you can pull as many or as few towels off the holder as you want, then with a quick flick of the wrist they'll easily separate.
