My favorite laptop rolling bag (using third now)

This is my favorite laptop rolling bag; I used it for several years, and got another one as gift recently; actually I got more expensive (Samsonite) as a gift first, and returned it because front pocket did not open completely, and it was hard to find anything in it, and the back pocket was too large for daily use. I am using it to get to/from work, sometimes daily, sometimes weekly, so it is used a lot on not too perfect roads too. I usually have several paper folders with my laptop in the laptop compartment, and a lot of stuff in the back compartment - sweater, or lunch, or both; front organizer is great. Note that when handle does not go smoothly up and down it only takes a little lubricant to make it perfect.

Functional, practical and a nice looking bag too

I really love my bag. It is light weight and easy for me to use. I office out of different locations and this bag makes it so much easier to carry my laptop and client files with out killing my back and shoulders. Also my team all complimented my bag which was unexpected because I purchased it more for functionality and necessity but it is a nice looking bag. It was a well made purchase.

Sturdy

Fell while carrying it the other day. Brushed it off and kept rolling. This is my second Solo--had the first one for over 10 years. Wish the zipper pulls had openings to accommodate luggage locks.

Great product. Worth the money

Good rolling case for the $$

Good rolling case for the $$. This is the only smaller case I could find with halfway decent construction. I use this back and forth to work with a 14" Dell laptop and cables. Upsides: Small overall dimensions make it a good choice for a carry-on. Useful because it stands up on the floor and you can access the laptop and other contents without using a work surface, Downsides: Roller are smaller diameter and hard plastic, so more vibration and probably less durable. Handle assembly is visible on the back of the case, not especially attractive. As others have mentioned, the front pocket funnels at the bottom so there is not much room for anything with thickness. For example, a book would not fit very well in that pocket, but OK for calculator or thin notebook. Just used this on a trip; I was able to use one pocket for essentials for a 2 night stay, and had the laptop in the handle side pocket. Worked pretty well but it is a tight fit. Good news is that it is easy to fit under and airline seat, no need for a gate check. I was on some full flights and it worked perfectly. Extended handle is a little too flexible for my tastes not sure it will last forever, but it is a good compromise.

Great for what I needed

I was looking for a rolling bag to take back and forth to the office. I work from home most of the time and have to carry quite a few items with me when I do go in so a typical business case was sufficient. This bag was exactly what I needed. The wheels roll smoothly, it has enough room for my laptop, files, and reference info I need to carry with me. I haven't given it heavy wear or taken it on a trip so don't know how it would hold up in that situation. For what I needed, it was perfect.

Very nice bag

Have been using to take books and laptop to school for a few weeks and I couldn't be happier with this product. Seems to be very sturdy and it does always standup for me.

Wow perfect

Okay just arrived and I was impressed with its compact size, but once you open it it, itseems so much larger. It’s fearly lightweight wasn’t sure if anything was in the box until I opened it. I’d buy one for myself. This is for my college student.
