There are bags with wheels made from better rubber compounds that better resist abuse
This bag has been mine for 6 months and been through plenty of air and auto travel-- up and down stairs, over loud tile floors, etc. It's a hell of a bag. Reviews that are written too soon after purchase are not helpful-- I felt my review after 6 months might be helpful. 1. Black canvas material is not just adequate, but extremely durable. You can rake a house key across the face of this bag and not damage it. 2. Handles made of canvas are attached for occasional carry. I loop another bag with additional gear over this one when I travel to take advantage of the wheels-- then when I hit a flight or two of stairs I grab the canvas loop handles while the telescope drag handle is extended and extra bag is looped over the telescope extended handle-- very durable. 3. Height, width, depth dimensions fit under airline seat and in overhead compartments of the small commuter jets that the airlines fly. 4. Three compartments-- each large enough to fit a laptop. I travel with two laptops and an iPad. In addition to the three zipped compartments there is a front compartment for additional items-- pens, receipts, papers, etc. 5. Sliding telescope handle for dragging/wheeling carriage is of the same quality as nearly every other such bag. This telescope handle is not sufficiently strong to be lifted and repeatedly carried up stairs by the telescope handle-- the telescope handle will fail at some point after much use/abuse in this fashion-- so don't carry it that way. 6. Wheels are my only "not ideal" point about this bag. The wheels are made of a rubber compound that is only average. If you are running after a rental car bus and drag the wheels sideways across concrete or asphalt streets and sidewalks the wheels will sustain those flattened spots around the wheel that make loud thumping noises when you return to hard floor surfaces to roll it in conventional/normal use. There are bags with wheels made from better rubber compounds that better resist abuse. Not a deal breaker-- If you are careful to not drag the bad sideways when running fast while rolling the wheels with telescope extended, then this is not a problem. The bag is a very good one. Buy it and enjoy excellent utility.

Fits 17" HP Envy Laptop with Plenty of Room and Rolls Nice!
This great bag fits my large 17" HP Envy laptop, along with my grad books and teaching books & accessories. I teach high school and bring my grad books with me in order to get work done during my lunch break. I have read a "ton" of bag reviews on many different sites and this bag was the first one that offered many 17" laptop owners who bragged about the room. It's insane how many bags say they'll fit a 17" laptop but don't, and thankfully there are customer reviews to let the rest of us know. As an art teacher I wanted a laptop with a nice big screen, little did I know how hard it'd be to find a decent bag to transport it. I will be using this bag daily and will have to come back to review if the wheels last since the cheap one I bought before school started didn't even last 6 months. Also, the handle is decent but like some have said, it could feel stronger but I've used rolling cases/bags and I find this is more of the norm than not. The only case review I found that bragged about the handle was Thule but there's a hefty price tag for that one. I plan to use this bad daily. Update: I used this bag throughout the school year and took 3 trips abroad with it and it's still awesome! Love this bag!

Satisfied Customer
After a few months of research on cases I chose this one for various reasons. I was looking for something that could hold not only heavy books, but folders, laptops and an iPad. Immediately after receiving the case I was impressed with the look of it. It is very professional looking. After loading it up with everything I would need for the day, the case stood up sturdy and did not tip over. With the placement of the wheels, it rides very smooth, even over rough surfaces like parking lots and streets. The second zippered pocket has enough room for pens and pencils, sticky notes, computer cables, business cards, cell phone, and whatever else you may need to pack. The third pocket is what made my final decision to purchase this case because it has a divider in it to store and separate files. The fourth zippered pocket is very convenient because it has a big compartment to hold books, and enough space next to that compartment to hold a laptop computer. When the handle retracts completely down, it has a flap that zips over it to hide it away in case you want to carry it by the two handles like a regular laptop bag. I use this bag everyday for work as a Therapist and I carry various files, books, including a thick, heavy diagnosis book. There is plenty of room for everything I need with room for more. I saw bags that had better ratings, and one in particular by Samsonite was rated as one of the best. I contemplated on purchasing the Samsonite case but because of the zippered pocket with the divider for files on the Solo, I purchased the Solo instead. Two days before I received my Solo, a lady came to our office with the Samsonite case. She raved about it but I didn't even like the look of it. Also, the bag didn't have enough room to put everything in it I would need for the day. Overall, I am pleased with this case and I would definitely recommend it.

Wonderful case. Plenty of storage space
Wonderful case. Plenty of storage space. I use this for my 17" Alienware laptop, which I've had a beast of a time finding a case for that wasn't $150. The laptop compartment is JUST barely big enough...it's a very snug fit, but it works (I even have a mouse dongle sticking out, which can get hung up unless I'm careful). Add in the charging cable, my wireless trackball mouse, about 30 files, another smaller laptop w/cable + mouse, and my essential office supplies (calculator, pens, etc), and I have a mobile office I can take anywhere. It rolls smoothly, is well balanced, and the extending handle is plenty long if you're on the tall side. The only issue I've seen is that if you carry a lot of weight, the fabric handles will rip. My boyfriend works in IT and carries laptops and cords around, so he got the same case given the storage space and reasonable price. The handles ripped within a week...they just aren't sewn on strongly enough to withstand the angle to carry by the handles. HOWEVER, my workaround seems to have prevented the issue (for my case)...I just twist the handles together so the tension is inward instead of upward. They've held up fine.

My wife LOVES IT!!!
Bought it for my wife who is a realtor. It for all off her paperwork and files. The case takes stress off her from having to carry multiple bags and briefcases. The wheels work perfectly. She LOVES IT!!!

Very pleased!
I did my homework researching a well made, inexpensive laptop case with wheels as I have a bad back. I'm extremely happy with this case. I love that the laptop fits towards the rear of the case so the weight is not pulling the case forward and tipping over (this was a big concern with other cases and backpack-type cases with wheels I looked at). There is a lot of room in this case for anything extra you would need for a traveling office. There is a separate area with a divider for folders and paper. The front pocket organizes your pens, iPad or Tablet, and some smaller items. I have used this case as a carry-on for an overnight business trip; able to put a change of clothes, shoes, and vanity items in it without having to bring another bag for those items. The case is a little bit heavy to carry for long periods but that's why I got one with wheels. The only time I have to carry this is to lift it up to a table/chair or an overhead compartment on the plane, the shorter handles make that effortless. The wheels on this case seem durable. Time will tell how long this case will hold up. Overall, I am very pleased with the cost and quality of this laptop case on wheels.

Would recommend!!!! Love my laptop carrier!!!
Love my Laptop rolling case. Due to back and leg pain I had to put everything I travel with on wheels. Have used this for several trips and it is working great. Still looks brand new and is sturdy. Protects my laptop well and I can carry paperwork and other things with me easily. I even throw my books I want to read or magazines in it. It has several compartments and zipper areas which are helpful. I can roll it out to my vehicle and get it in the vehicle easily. I also like when not in use the handle can be protected from damage in its own zippered compartment. The handle when extended is not a short height and comes out to a nice height. A significant improvement over my old laptop carrier the kind I see everywhere. This laptop carrier is extremely well made and did not smell funny when I opened up the packaging so did not need any airing out. I spent my money wisely on this purchase. I could see this being a great gift to give someone. The dimensions are great and it feels like it has soft foam padding on the sides to protect what is inside. There is a Velcro strap in the middle compartment since the middle compartment has 2 sections and I can strap my laptop in further securing it from moving around and getting damage. The wheels feel heavier than many of the cheap plastic wheels out there so I think the wheels will hold up through a great deal of use. I am so glad I found the laptop carrier.

AMAZING!
I am beyond impressed!! I just started nursing school and an over the shoulders backpack was just not cutting it with how heavy it was. I was nervous to order a rolling one online because you can't exactly tell what the quality is, but as soon as I opened it I took pictures and came to post about it because it is that good! Only thing I'm questioning is that the handle feels a little flimsy when stuff is added to the bag, but we'll see how it holds up. Perfect for any laptops, textbooks, binders, iPads, folders, food, extra gear (ex: a stethoscope), etc. Great quality, and it is very light! I picked up the package assuming it was going to be way heavier. Very excited to use!

Good quality, good structure
I have fallen in love with this rolling suitcase, though that's partly because this is the first suitcase of this type that I've owned, and they are awfully convenient for overnight trips and business meetings. This suitcase seems very well made, all the zippers pull evenly and without issue, the rollers are sturdy, and the pull handle is not wiggly. I am pretty easy on my suitcases, so I couldn't speak how this would hold up for a very frequent traveler or someone who was hard on it. Features I particularly like: (1) there are two front pocket sections, which I like to use on overnight trips to separate my business stuff from the trashy books I bring on the plane. (2) the laptop section is well-cushioned, I feel no concerns putting this in the overhead with my laptop inside. (3) it fits in the overhead bin easily. (4) you can definitely fit a laptop and an overnight stay's worth of clothes/toiletries in the main section IF you pack strategically (wear your suit jacket on the plane, use travel sized toiletries, etc).

Just bought my second one. Very good value.
I got my first one of these in 2011. It lasted through 6 years of hard wear and (frankly) abuse. At about 12 bucks a year (I paid 70 for mine) it was a bargain. The telescoping handle started to get funny a couple months ago, and finally broke this week. I went online to find a new case, but the site I was on didn't show this one. I was about to buy a Samsonite or a Case Logic for over 100 bucks, when it occurred to me that I should go to Amazon. I was so happy to see that this is still available for sale! I got my new one today. It looks like the one one, except the logos, the actual handle, and a couple of seam finishes have been changed. Same organization (which is what I loved about it). Still very roomy but not too big. Same weight. I am very happy. If it lasts me another 6 years I'll count that as an excellent value. Seeing my new one next to my old makes it clear how well the materials have held up. Aside for the broken handle the old one looks just a little more worn, but doesn't at all reflect the 6 years of hard wear and flying that it went through. My only wish is, now that I am not longer in the corporate rate race, this one came in another color choice. Navy or dark green would have been a nice option.
