Perfect for drum teching

I use this for drum tech stuff; swapping heads, tuning, general maintenance. It's nice to be able to just spin the drum easily and quietly. The rubber edge is a great non-slip surface for the drum heads to grip. I could have purchased the larger size to accommodate my large toms, but I went with the 10" for a couple of different reasons. The main one being that the size of OXO is small enough that, if you center the drum over it well enough, it deadens the other opposite head that you're working. This s perfect for tuning so the other head doesn't interfere with the results. It's a non-standard usage for this thing but it works perfectly for what I need it for. Much better than expected. I would definitely recommend this to fellow drummers as a great addition to the drum bench.

These turntables work great in my pantry

These turntables work great in my pantry. They turn easily & do not tilt or slide around. They stay put, even on wire shelving. If something spills I just wash it with a hot, soapy rag & it's good as new. I bought several of these last year & I'm very pleased with them, so much that I'm planning to buy some to use in my bathroom linen closet for cough syrups & such. Good product that makes life a little easier. Get some & organize your pantry or linen closet or cabinets or garage shelves...

Wish I'd Found This Years Ago!

Purchased this for the top shelf of my refrigerator. It is difficult to see past the front because it is high up. This area tended to wind up as the land of lost left overs and surprise science projects. The 16 inch turntable fits perfectly in the 17 inch space. I've filled it with jars of pickles, jelly, ketchup, sandwich spread, etc. With taller items in the center it is easy to see everything on the shelf with a flip of the wrist. It turns easily even with the weight of the jars and as an added bonus the lip on the turntable prevents items from falling off as well (I had this problem with another turntable I used to own. If it was turned too quickly stuff would fall off)! Really a nice item, good quality, should last for years. The price is very reasonable as well. Although I purchased this for organization I have to say it is an attractive addition which looks like it came with my refrigerator. Now if only I could find something to organize the drawers!

EFFECTIVE, FUNCTIONAL AND PLEASING TO THE EYE!

I absolutely LOVE these! My pantry has always had that awkward inner corner on each shelf that is so hard to reach when the shelves are full on both sides. I usually put the stuff that I rarely use there. When I do need it, I would grumble while trying to get at it. These lazy Susan trays are so wonderful. Not only do they look great, but they are durable, they hold a lot of stuff, they spin smoothly, they really make such better use of those awkward corners and they are totally easy to access! I bought 3 of the 17" trays and they are a little larger than my selves, but they are strong enough that it makes absolutely no difference. They work fantastic! Pics of my pantry attached.

Just what I needed.

So far I love it. I'm only reviewing this because I reviewed the coffee pot that I place on top of the turntable. I purchased a beautiful & well functioning Russell Hobbs coffee maker, but it was extremely awkward to use without continuously turning the whole machine every time we used it. This turntable did the job. I researched many, and the wider bottom base seemed to fit the bill to place a coffee maker on top of. I've had it only one day, but it has already made such a difference. I will consider getting more to use for my cupboards and refrigerator.

Solved storage problem

This large sturdy turntable solved the problems The turntable fills the corner where the shelves join. Previously it was difficult to use the area as items always needed to be moved to reach into that space. The turntable is the perfect size for my shelves. I was able to organize the area more efficiently.

Ideal solution for a spice storage device that is not super tall or expensive.

I use this turntable in one of my 15" wide upper cabinets in my kitchen to organize spices, so that they are all within reach and out of the way. I tried other spice organizers, but I found that I had two problems with them: 1: other spice organizers occupy a lot of vertical space 2: most other spice organizers assume you store all of your spices in small jars I ideally wanted a spice organizer that did not occupy a lot of space vertically, as the area of cabinet I wanted to store the spices in was not that tall, and I wanted one that allowed me to store some of my spices in small bags, as where I buy my spies sells them in bags and sometimes I just don't bother to transfer them to containers. I found this small lazy Susan and it is an ideal solution to the problem. It allows me to store spices in containers on the edge and bags in the middle, and the height of the whole thing is less than six inches. Additionally, since it hides in the cabinet there is no eyesore spice rack anywhere in the house, and this thing is much cheaper than other spice storage solutions.

Living in a small apartment (after living in a large house) was quite an adjustment, and I had to figure out how to maximize every square inch of space. These help in that effort, allowing me to reduce shelf height (and adding more shelves) without limiting me ability to access items. I LOVE THESE and simply could not live with out them! Thus far, I've purchased a half-dozen of the small ones, and even more of the large ones! Smooth gliding and their base extends just enough past the rotating part that you can put things up against it and it does not interfere with the ease of their rotation. So happy I found these!

Lazy Susan Turntable Is Just What I Needed

I needed to organize one of my kitchen counters, that had become cluttered with such items as cooking oil and cooking spices. I bought this because I like the OXO brand name, and the size (11 inch) was what I needed. I was able to store what I had intended - and then even more items. And the items are not "lost" and still easy to find the items I need. The turntable turns smoothly and without effort. The material (plastic) this turntable is made of is pretty easy to keep clean, which is always a consideration. The price is pretty reasonable as well. I'm so impressed with what this turntable can store, that I am considering ordering more of these turntables - one for cabinet and a couple of my refrigerator. I am very, very pleased with this purchase!

I have 4 of these 16 in OXO turntables in my refrigerator and 5 in my pantry.. love 'em. Strongly recommend.

I have been using these OXO turntables for over 5 years.. in my refrigerator, pantry, and under cabinets. Just bought another one because I purchased a larger refrigerator. Even tho with OXO turntables I loose a bit of space - what I gain in easy access and easy of inventorying is worth it. These are easy to clean and maintain. They keep on spinning. GREAT sturdy product. Remember to be sure to get the largest size diameter you can for your shelves to maximize your space. I paid full price for these turntables. Update 10/13/16: These turntable still work beautifully, spin easily, and look like the day I purchased them. So easy to wipe off when needed to keep clean. Strongly recommend.
