This is a great product. I actually purchased 2 of them and have one in each bathroom. I use it a LOT. I especially like that I can pull it out far enough to look in the mirror and see the back of my head in my bathroom mirror when I'm doing my hair.

Great Product

Like many other items like this (towel rack for instance), the issue is that they use sheet-rock plugs and you bolt the item to the plug. Sheet rock is hardly a sturdy substance, especially when you drill in to it. (The plugs slowly pull out over time.) This mirror has pretty substance weight to it, which would make going into the sheet rock even worse. If you can't get it into a stud, I wouldn't bother using their hardware to install it. If you have access to the wall behind it, you can bolt a plate to the backside and just use a nut/bolt to keep it rock solid. If you don't have access to the back side, you can use an expanding drywall anchor. Hammer it in similar to the anchors they provide you, but when you screw it in, the backside expands to be about 2-3in wide. Only way that is pulling out is take half the wall with you!

Seems sturdy. I ended up mounting it on a door, due to lack of wall space options, and it still seems strong, despite the movement when I open and close the door. The oil-rubbed bronze finish is nice and matches my other features, though is slightly more matte. The magnification is good, and I'm glad there's a normal side as well. Overall pleased with the product.

Love this hotel-quality mirror!

Love this mirror! After returning from a business trip where I enjoyed such a mirror in my hotel bathroom, I knew that I wanted one at home, so I was delighted when I found this one on Amazon. My husband easily and quickly installed this mirror for me in our bathroom and I love using it! Makes getting reading in the morning really easy. It's wonderful how it can pivot to any angle when I need it, but then be stored flat against the wall when not in use. Also extremely handy for looking at my hair on the back of my head. I know that some reviewers complained that the wall mounting wasn't sturdy, but I didn't have that problem. The hardware and wall anchors that were provided worked perfectly. Some reviewers also complained of rust, however I haven't seen that problem either. Thenagain, my bathroom is fairly well ventilated and I never touch it with wet hands. But I'll continue to be on the lookout for rust. The mirror is very handsome and matches the hardware in my bathroom. It's well-made, heavy, and sturdy. Makes an elegant and useful addition to any bathroom!

I have put one of these in every bathroom I have ever used in homes and condos I have owned....way before Amazon was the go-to for buying absolutely everything. This was very easy to install and durable. Mirror is great too!

What can you install in less than 10 min and will have your girl owing you big time??? This amazing mirror! High quality, easily move the mirror closer or neatly pushed against the wall. Simple installations and bargain of a price makes this a "stop searching and buy now" product.

Nice product

I bought this to secure to a vanity I designed and built for my 6'5 husband. It was easy to secure, and the mirror has a good versatility. The arm swings out easily and mirror rotates for his height. The vanity was rustic in a very small bathroom and the mirror made for a good accent instead of a distraction.

Wife-approved mirror!

Nice mirror. And if you're debating this mirror versus a hard-wired/lighted mirror, this is the mirror you want (and especially so, if you don't already have the electrical in place). We didn't have electrical in place, and as a result my wife "settled" for this mirror. In retrospect, this was the right decision, as our well-lit bathroom made a lighted mirror unnecessary.

It's nice quality, sturdy
