Worked great but prep the tool before use
The instructions could be a bit clearer. I read the other reviews prior to purchase regarding cleaning the black manufacturing oxide from the threads before use. Used my bench grinder wire wheel to clean all the external threads then ran the threaded machine screws through the internal threads liberally coated with light oil. Worked like a champ both removing/installing the pulley. I purchased an additional 5/16-24x3/4” bolt per a comment I read to ensure a solid clamping force for the two puller halves. I also used a short steel pipe as a cheater on the puller handle when removing the pulley. I suggest buying one additional washer for the bearing (one each side of the bearing) when reinstalling the pulley.

Works well on Hummer H2 Steering Pump Pulley
Fortunately, the tool set I received was made correctly, so threads were aligned right. The first thing to do with any puller is lube the threads with heavy grease. Then thread the parts on-and-off each other to push out any metal shavings which were left over during manufacturing. That seems like common sense, but I didn't put enough grease on initially, so it wore some of the threads prematurely. The tool still worked well though. I had to use a 18" socket wrench to apply enough torque for getting the pulley off. That is difficult to do while simultaneously holding the short handle on the puller housing. I wish Lisle had designed it with a longer handle. Installation is easier. Again, make sure there is enough heavy grease coating all of the threads and the pump shaft. Overall, this set is much easier to use than my 3-jaw puller. I highly recommend this one.

This is a good product
I read a lot of negative reviews about this product about how it failed to the point i was super worried about it. I bought it anyway, made sure that with each use i put a little 3 in 1 or motor oil on the threads and had NO PROBLEMS with this product. To be fair, maybe the PS pulley i was removing and reinstalling was not as fused to the pump shaft as other people, I DONT KNOW, but i know people and there a lot of stupid people out there! But for me, this was a very good product and my PS pump removal and replacing went as planned. The material its made of is clearly not high use shop quality, but for the home mechanic like me, its just fine for at least 4 or 5 jobs. oh and the instructions suck as other people have stated but not impossible to understand.

The Best PS Pulley Puller Hands Down
I am working on a 1984 Corvette, clearance as with most vehicles is an issue. This puller was the right tool, clamped tight on the ring and made the job very quick and easy. This is made by Leslie but I first saw it as a Matco tool that was simply re-branded for 2x the price. If you have to remove one pulley or several buy this tool!!

**BUY THIS ONE** used on 1995 Chevy Tahoe 5.7
***BUY THIS ONE!*** I have never pulled a power steering pulley before but after a couple YouTube vids & THIS SET I pulled pulley off a 1995 Chevy Tahoe 5.7 with minimal effort (to get drivers side exhaust manifold off for cryin out loud!)... I used a 2’ breaker bar w/ the socket & a 2’ pipe over the included handle for better leverage & it did take some time BUT IT WORKED EXACTLY AS IT SHOULD. (Tip: I removed fan cover & put a piece of cardboard to protect radiator & my knuckles just in case). This is a high-quality SOLID set w/ parts for various models/applications... Pay the few extra dollars over the more ‘affordable’ ones you’re looking at. THIS IS THE ONE.

Worth the price. Quality tool and easy to use
This had been an excellent tool. I’ve used this on several Chrysler products (Dodge,Jeep,Chrysler) vehicles and a Mitsubishi and have had no complaints. The metal threads hold up well compared to other tools I’ve used everything else fits snug around the pulley lip. If you’ve never used this before, look up some videos. I’d also recommend not using air tools or battery tools for reinstalling the pulley. Also, use a lubricant for the threads to help reduce the friction. Overall, I’m very impressed with this tool. The quality and ease of use is great. It works just as good, if not better than the special tool Chrysler provides to dealerships and significantly better than any rental tool I’ve used.

LISLE QUALITY PULLER BUY THE BEST
Lisle pulley puller worked as advertised with removing the power steering pump pulley. Put in on and removed the pulley easily. Putting the pulley back on with the tool didn't work for me. The Ford pump on my 2000 Ford F250 p.u. is original equipment and the threads in the power steering pump shaft were rusted and the tool wouldn't re-install the pulley. I had to use a ball peen hammer to drive the pulled back on and fortunately didn't damage the pump driving it on the shaft. The 22mm Ford re-install bolt had damaged threads and I emailed Lisle and they sent me a replacement re-install bolt.

Works on 1998 Volvo S70 (P80) power steering pump pulley.
Solid Construction. Taiwanese made. And it was able to pull off a Volvo 1995 850 power steering pump pulley. Don't know how you would do this without a vise though. Instructions are a little poor and I had to use an impact to back out a nut that I had tightened incorrectly. But the tool held up. I need to change mine and probably my brother's so it's a good tool to invest in. Make sure to lubricate threads. I've made it a point to always spray everything down with WD-40 as soon as I open it and before I put it away.

Great quality kit that works well.
This kit was just what I needed to pull the power steering pulley from my Chevy van. Once I determined the correct side of the 2 piece puller body, it was simple to tighten the drive screw with a 7/16" socket and remove the pulley, which was quite snuggly pressed on 17 years ago. The handle that comes with the kit and holds the puller body together could be longer would be my only concern so far. I needed to add a cheater to keep the pulley still while removing it. The kit appears well made with the components fitting together well and fitting correctly in the storage case that comes with it. Great tool set to have on hand for any future repairs!

Another Great Lisle SST!
I would pay twice as much or more for this tool if it was made in the USA. Come on, Lisle! There are still plenty of gear heads out here who value that "Made in the USA" label! I have a number of Lisle specialty service tools, all made stateside, and they've always impressed me as rock solid and versatile. Besides this beef, the tool itself is brilliantly designed to make a breeze of what is otherwise a curse-filled job of removing and installing power steering pump pulleys in tight locations. I used it on my 2003 Taurus CII pump and, due to the flexibility of the design, I'm sure that it will come in handy on pulley jobs on our other cars. P.S. - I did buy a 12" piece of black pipe to use as an extension for the removal handle, which was worth the extra $4.
