High quality sheet protectors that you would expect from Avery! These have a glossy finish (as opposed to the matte / textured finish that I've seen in sheet protectors). They feel thick and durable. If you are cutting your own paper, know that they'll fit paper that's slightly wider than 5.5". (You might be able to get an extra millimeter or two of width in there.) There are 7 holes down the side, which fit perfectly in the Avery Mini Durable View Binder for 5.5 x 8.5 Inch Pages, 0.5 inch Round Ring 1 Binder - White (27726) that I purchased to go with it. Oddly, the holes don't line up well in for a normal letter sized (8.5" x 11") 3-ring binder. The only way it fits into the normal sized binder is with the middle ring going through the middle of the 7 holes. Because it's only attached by 1 hole, it does wiggle around. Would've been nice if 2 of the holes could've lined up for a normal sized binder. Not sure what all the holes are for.

Love these. Bought them for my craft inventory binder. It holds both color swatches and my wafer dies really well. I have a small magnet sheet on card stock in some of the pockets and so far nothing has torn. I can even have it upside down without the dies falling out.

I bought a a pack of these to store my programs from plays/musicals that I have collected over the years. They fit perfectly inside these sheet protectors. I also bought some to store my clear cling stamps and dies which I put on magnetic sheets. Such a cheaper alternative the products made for that purpose.

Perfect fit for our collection of playbills!

Perfect for Playbills.Note this is only good for official newer Playbills or programs of the same size. Older Playbills have slightly different dimensions that may not fit. For example, I have a fairly thick old Cats Playbill which does not fit in the sleeves unfortunately. I bought two and have about 50 playbills between them. Depending on the thickness of the Playbills, I would say you could fit about 25 per binder, maybe 30.

I'm an active snail mailer and use these page protectors, in my compatible Avery binder, to store my dozens and dozens of postal stamps; trying to remember what denominations and designs I already had was becoming annoying, so his way I'm protecting the stamps and saving myself time. Obviously a real philatelist wouldn't dream of using a system so crude, but for just a quick perusal, the page protectors turned out to be of much higher quality than I was anticipating (compared to the inelegant vinyl binder ordered at the same time). It's an absolute ideal system and the price, on my day of purchase, was rock bottom. The pages aren't too stiff or wrinkly and with 7 holes, it's likely they'll work with other brands' binders beyond Avery. They're perfectly clear, they're nicely thick but allow for easy page turning, and I've yet to experience any rips or tears. They don't curl on the ends either. Understand the size Imitations and just exactly what fits, and I don't think you'll be too disappointed. Leaving poor reviews for these pages protectors (which include accurately stated dimensions) just because they don't happen to properly fit your intended use ...is kinda unfair. I just love these things and they do exactly what they're supposed to do. They fit several sheets of paper, but for my purposes, I was more ticked to discover that very thin sheets don't fall out if the binder is turned upside down. (Something I cannot say for Avery's 'business cards' 5.5x8.5 clear insert pages). A very pleased customer indeed.

- pocket measures 5 9/16" by 8 9/16" - overall size is 6 3/16" by 8 3/4" - seven holes are centered 1 5/8", 2 5/8", 3 5/8", 4 3/8", 5 1/8", 6 1/8, and 7 1/8" from the BOTTOM of the protector sheet - no claimed thickness on packaging, but feels very sturdy - can write on white area (between holes) with a Sharpie permanent marker - very clear - accompanying label says "made in China" Overall, an excellent product, and it is perfect for the common LEGO Company instructions that are a bit less than 5" by 8"! I bought the Avery Durable Binder for 5.5 x 8.5 Inch Pages, 2-Inch Round Ring, Black, 1 Binder (27554) and used these protector sheets to organize 17 LEGO instruction booklets for my 6 and 10 year old LEGO fanatics. There are more to come... I estimate that we'll fit about 25 total in this binder. For other LEGO booklet sizes, I have standard 3-ring binders with 3.5x5, 4x6, and 8.5x11 size photo pages. UPDATE 6/8/2016 A kind customer comment prompted me to provide a minor update: I continue to be very pleased with this product four and a half years after my original review. Our first binder has been filled with 30 LEGO instructions, so a few months ago I bought more of these sheet protectors (25-pack, this time) and started a new binder. The previous sheet protectors have held up very well. Some of the instructions come in two booklets which I often put together in one page, and that makes for a pretty heavy page. Regardless, none of the protectors have failed in any way. However, note that they don't get used every day and my kids (now 10 and 15) may be less rough on their things than "the average kid."

I bought these sheet protectors to store my Playbills... And they are FANTASTIC! They fit really well, even though Playbills tend to be bulgy. I combined them with the Avery Durable Reference Binder with 2 Inch Round Ring, Black (27554) and I couldn't be happier. (I also saved a lot of money I would have spent on the "official Playbill binder" as sold online. I would say this product is a must for Broadway fans who like to neatly store their Playbills. :)

I bought these because they were cheaper than the ones I normally buy by C-Line. I am glad I found them because I actually like them a lot better. They held the sheets a bit tighter than the C-line ones did so my pages didn't fall out. I use these to make recipe books of recipes I have found online. These sheet protectors work perfectly! I like using the half page ones because they are a bit easier to manage when you are working in the kitchen and trying to hold a cook book. I will definitely be using these again! Also, I was a bit worried about the gloss on these and being able to read the recipes that turned out to be no big deal. I haven't had an issue at all with that. Another great product made by Avery!

I was kinda hoping these would fit in my A5 planner but even if I punched my own holes, they wouldn't align and stay put well. But the protectors are great if you have a half page 3-ring binder. I was about to give up and just put them up to use to make shaker cards or something else in the future then I decided to use washi tape along the side where the holes are punched and just cover up the original holes with the thickest washi tape I have or you can just use regular masking tape and then cover with pretty washi tape to make sure it is held strong and then use a nice 6 hole punch (this one is amazing for an A5 planner https://www.amazon.com/Chris-Wang-Adjustable-Puncher-Planner-Inserts/dp/B01KZHR1WW/ref=cm_rdp_product ) and then it works great with my planner.
