I was worried about this a bit because of other reviews mostly complaining about some part of the tubing blowing out and/or severely leaking. We installed these in two different barns by hooking two units together in each barn and attached them to the rafters of the barn. We've been running them for 2 months now, so still need to see how well they work long-term, but they have been in use most days during this two month stretch. I think the secret is that you barely want to turn the faucet on that it is connected to - you just want a trickle of water. Our livestock love them during these hot 90 degree Ohio days. Turn them on in the morning during chores and turn them off at night during chores. It is enough mist to cool the area probably by 15 degrees (at least it feels that way). You can feel the mist if you walk through it, but it doesn't really get you wet. It does create some puddling over the entire day on a concrete floor, but it doesn't seem to be using very much water at all. Well worth the money to keep a bunch of livestock more comfortable, and the flies really don't bug them either when the mist is on.

A good way to beat the heat.

We planned a graduation party for our twins and it ended up falling on a day when it was over 100 degrees. I was worried some of our older guests would have issues dealing with the heat and when I checked the weather outlook a few days before the party I started searching for ideas. I came upon this item and am very glad I made this purchase. It was easy and practical to install on a pop up canopy and it ended up being the place to come for that temporary cool mist to break the Summer heat. Great product that I highly recommend.

Works! Coolin!

I was skeptical to buy this based on the reviews. However took a leap becauze I needed something ASAP. Got it, read instructions and then hung it up. Simple. No issues. Really does cool the area when you needed. It's 100 in Dallas today and this really did give it a nice misty breeze. If and when I plan to extend it, I would order this.

Might be the best purchase for camping ever!

I found this while we were camping last month at Banks Lake and melting in the heat! I ordered it immediately, so it was waiting for us when we got home. We went back the following weekend, put the misters up on the awning of the RV with black office clips and it easily lowered the temp by 10-15 degrees! We had other campers flocking over to "visit" all weekend! My husband rolled his eyes at me when I ordered it and said it wouldn't work...yeah, he loves it more than anyone! Great product with a great price!

Exactly what you need

I’d purchased this item for last home at a big box store and decided heading into summer that new house could use the same treatment. Easy to install, set up and use. Only complaint is that one mister head has already stopped working. I’ve taken it apart, cleaned and pretty much anything else I can think of to get it to come back to life with no avail. The first set I purchased lasted 3 years with no malfunctions, so I’m not really sure what’s different this time around. Either way, still a 5/5 from me. Good product.

You cannot beat this for the price

I like this unit very much. Easy to assemble, easy to adjust. We live in South Florida and even in the blazing heat - I can enjoy my porch. I think the main thing people do is use too much water pressure -- best advice I can give; turn up the water, then ease it back until it drips instead of mists - then ease it just back to mist level. Perfect. Will definitely be buying more.

Great Product

Awesome system. Bought the expansion kit too. Mist is plentiful yet you can stick your eye next to the nozzle (I don't recommend it lol) and not be bothered by the pressure because it is so gentle. I had to test this because the system is around/near my lil guy, safety first right? All joking aside I hope this helps someone.

Makes a wonderful difference!

What a difference this mister has made for our comfort level during 90 degree and 100 degree weather! We now use our patio whenever we want, and do not have to wait for cooler weather! It was easy to install, and to adjust the nozzles for the direction of spray. It does make the patio surface damp right under the line (no puddles, just wet-looking area), but no big deal; the cooling effect is fabulous.

Perfect!

Took me 10 minutes to install by myself. It's certainly not a commercial system you would find it outdoor mall or restaurant seating, but for occasional home use it serves a great purpose and a low cost. No drips, just mist as it supposed to. Waited to order the extension kit to see how this worked. I will definitely be extending mine to wrap around my entire covered patio. It was very clear in the description that there was 10 feet of lead and 10 feet of actual misting area with nozzles. I'm assuming those who were disappointed by this did not read the full description.

Works great

I bought this starter pack and three of the extension kits for a total of 40 feet along my back patio. They work great and easy to assemble. I added an in-line water filter you can buy for $13 to filter out the calcium so the mister heads won't clog up so fast. Here in Las Vegas the water is really full of calcium and clogs things fast without a filter or water softener. And since the house water softener doesn't include the hose outputs, the little in-line hose filter is highly needed. All hooked up (this main pack and 3 of the extensions) this misting system covers my 30 foot patio perfectly. Feels and looks great.
