All the other reviews about a white dust on the plastic are true, but it was easy to wipe off with a dry rag & it's well made. I didn't realize when I bought it that it has a lifetime warranty, so that's definitely worth the price you pay for it.

Like this product.

I've read some of the reviews, complaining about some sort of dusty film on the inside of the umbrella. Yes, there is that. But, I assume that is there for a reason - to keep the clear plastic from sticking to itself in mailing. To me, that is no big deal. It is really a "bubble" - very nice when you want to protect a single individual - without worrying that the edges of the umbrella will not "poke" someone else who is in close proximity. You are able to see where you are going, even if pulled down in front of you. I take care of an individual who is in a wheelchair. She is able to carry it over her head and still be able to see what is in front of her to safely navigate her wheelchair.

This umbrella is great! Sturdy and just the right size for me and my 6 month old. It provides great coverage while allowing my 6 month old and I a view. While using it I can honestly say we did not get wet. Great purchase and worth the cost. Would definitely purchase again.

These umbrellas were great! They do come dusty, but simply wiping them off with a rag made them very clear! We used them on our wedding day, because it rained, and they made for very cute photos. It is also a very good quality umbrella.

Great Umbrella

I really like this umbrella. Because it is large, it covers more of me when it rains and I can stay dry in most rain storms. It also helps prevent the lower half of my body from getting wet, which was always a problem with smaller umbrellas. It opens easily although it is not a automatic opening umbrella. When using the umbrella it comes down past my shoulders and I like that most of the umbrella is clear so I can easily see through it when walking. My sister owns one of these umbrellas and has had it for years without any rust showing up on it. I hope I have the same luck since the smaller umbrellas I have purchased in the past always seemed to rust within 6 months of use. It is harder to carry and store but those small negatives are nothing compared to the positive benefits this umbrella has. I have not used it in heavy winds before but my sister says that because the umbrella comes down farther when opened, wind does not get under it easily and she is not worried that the metal spokes will break. I have had this problem for years with smaller umbrellas. I would definitely recommend this umbrellas to others.

Great Coverage Umbrella

First impression...nice a big umbrella, handle is long, kinda bulky, clear view, fantastic. It feels sturdy and protective. I have yet to use it. I live in Southern California...waiting for rain. Update: I used this today in gusty winds and rain. El Niño arrived to So Cal yesterday! We haven't seen this much rain in years! I can say that this really held up well. The bubble shade creates a shield around me. I really like this concept. The only problem this makes me feel like a horrible person because I cannot offer to shield anyone else from the rain.

Good Rain protection

I like this umbrella. I live in Chicago, USA and it rains here sometimes. I don't usually like being too damp when I get to a destination so an umbrella can help prevent this situation. I have noticed that this umbrella has more of a curve than other umbrellas so it covers my head more. It is also clear plastic. This is important because the big curve comes below eye level. An opaque umbrella of this design would significantly impair vision in front and above the user. Smart design feature!
