a MUST have for soft moisturized skin

Before i get into my novel of a review, here’s the summary of what i think. I came across this while looking for a lotion that works best for Non-oily skin, a daily lotion, for sensitive-ish skin, i found the PERFECT one with this. I bought this about 2 weeks ago, was shipped in 2 days, & when i received it nothing was wrong with the packaging or bottle. Anyways, I started using this after i decided to switch from my Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture which i had been using for about 6 months. I do not have naturally Oily Skin so it was too drying. But with maaaaany hours spent looking for a FACE lotion with good reviews I came across this and let me just say IT IS WORTH THE MONEY, I am in love! works for face and body which i was skeptical about at first but i do not regret my purchase at all and i highly highly reccomend anyone purchase this. My skin is a little sensitive mainly to perfumes (especially my face) & this is amazing!!! no breakouts, no rash, I will use this forever!

Amazed! Thought it may be just another moisture cream, but this stuff is GREAT!

Fantastic. My allergist recommended CeraVe and I gave it a try. Once applied you hardly know it is there. Unlike most lotions, my skin still feels good many hours after application. Absolutely the the best moisturizing product I have used.

I love this lotion

I love this lotion. I have it right next to my kitchen sink. I put it on every time I wash my hands or wash dishes. It leaves my hands soft but not greasy. I also use the CeraVe tub lotion on my face which I love. The ONLY lotion that doesn't make me break out on my face. The ceramides are also very good for skin. I'd purchase again.

Best body lotion that I can find

I've tried many body lotions, and this one is tops. I have sensitive skin and mild rosacea, and I can even use this on my face with no issues. Middle age has gifted me with especially dry skin on my legs. Cerave keeps the ashiness at bay longer than any other lotion. Apply it immediately after exiting the shower while your skin is still damp for best results. It is very, very light, with zero greasiness. It will completely absorb within a few minutes

Ahhhh finally something that works for me

I have had doctors and a derm I saw in the past recommend CeraVe to me but I never listened. I wish I had sooner because my struggle has always been having dry skin from the products I use on my face to combat acne (benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid 2% wash, and tea tree oil on cysts) and whenever I used a moisturizer it seemed to stop the benzoyl peroxide from working. I am not sure what was happening, but it was frustrating because I would either break out wherever I had the dry skin or if I put on a moisturizer my skin didn't like then I would get a cyst there anyway. I am currently 22 and I deal with adult cystic acne. In my opinion, this is worse than when I was a teenager and I had mostly whiteheads and the occasional cyst. It is more painful and it sucks when every blemish is a cyst. I would do anything to just have whiteheads instead and it can be difficult to manage even while doing my best to eat better, reduce stress, get better sleep, etc. I have gotten my hormones checked and everything is normal. My skincare routine is my best defense against the cysts besides, of course, the healthy lifestyle. I have VERY sensitive skin, and this is the only moisturizer I have ever used in my life that doesn't irritate my skin and make it feel weighed down. Maybe other moisturizers didn't feel greasy, but it felt heavy, or it just felt wrong... I don't know if that makes sense to some. When you put a product on your face and your skin doesn't like it, it can be annoying since you spent the money on it already and then painful since it will lead to a breakout. I have been using this for about a month now on my face and my arms and chest and it is wonderful. I would say this is definitely going to be my go-to moisturizer for my face for as long as I live. It really does the job. The rest of my body I think I will have to use shea butter in the colder months since this is more lightweight for certain areas of the body, but it still does a great job of moisturizing. My elbows just need a little extra love, y'know? Anyway, I would suggest this to anybody. If you have really dry, sensitive skin then this could work for you. It worked for me. I also do love that it is unscented. Maybe it was the fragrance in other moisturizers that made my skin freak out. Overall - 10/10, five stars, all the good things. Doesn't irritate my skin, isn't heavy or greasy, isn't too lightweight either, doctor/dermatologist approved, AWESOME price for the size, and can be used on face and body. Cool beans.

I love all CeraVe products

My dermatologist suggested using this brand of products. The moisturizing cleanser is so good, my hands and face never feel dry when using. The lotion is light and absorbs quickly. The cream is wonderful for those areas of your body that are so very dry... I had dry flakey legs, my dermatologist suggested using the lotion first, to leave a layer of moisture.. then use the cream to lock all the moisture in. It only took 3 days to get my diabetic legs soft and supple again. I really recommend these products to all my friends, and now to you too. ..

Makeup applied flawlessly after lotion. Friend with eczema noticed significant results. Works for oily or dry skin.

I love this! My pours seem visibly smaller and my makeup goes on flawlessly. My friend has eczema on her face and she was genuinely shocked on how fast it improved her skin after one application. Note it did take 3 days to clear up but it was significantly better after one application. I'm not advocating for eczema I'm just saying it helped her LOL It can be greasy if applied excessively, but a small dab goes a long way and isn't greasy. I have oily skin and my friend has dry skin.

When deciding whether to buy the lotion or cream version of this CeraVe daily moisturizer about 1-1/2 years ago, I decided to go with the cream based on some of the less-than-happy Amazon user reviews for the lotion, and mainly for the fact that body lotions had never been moisturizing enough for me. My skin isn't terribly dry (no flaking, etc.) but it seems that I need a bit more of an emollient product. After going through 3 tubs of the cream (I applied after my evening shower), I had some growing dislikes - not only the stickiness after applying, but the next morning my skin never seemed like it was moisturized enough. So 2 weeka ago I order the lotion and oh boy! After only 3 days of use my skin is now softer throughout a whole day! It goes on so much nicer than the cream too - no stickiness. Never thought I'd be raving about a body lotion - lol. So at this point I'm a believer! I highly recommend this lotion.

If you have hypersensitive skin, this is definitely the lotion for you!!!

This lotion was recommended to me by my Dermatologist for hypersensitive skin. I also get rosacea and this works well after I get out of the shower. It is unscented and doesn’t have any irritants in. I strongly recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin or people who cannot deal with harsh products that contain a lot of chemicals and perfumes. I also have a lot of sun damage from spending my life around the water. I love this lotion and it’s the only brand that I use. However it can be a little costly. It’s worth it to me for healthy looking skin and is non irritating. Every single thing that I tried before this made my skin look terrible. I highly recommend this to people with very sensitive skin. I got this very quickly from here and for less than I can get it from the store thats close and convenient for me. This is a much easier way to buy it and it’s less expensive too. Thank you for the fast shipping and the packaging was very good as well.

5/2019 EDIT: STILL USING AND....it was great for winter as well. I didn't need anything more intense. I keep a big container of this around ALL the time! IT IS A STAPLE! _____________________________________________________________ I have tried SO many lotions and creams over the last decades. Some were just greasy and never really absorbed, some had a really medicinal smell, some worked better than others, but none have done a better, more satisfactory job in what I look for in a daily lotion than this one. GREAT PLUSES: It absorbs quickly, it's light and I can put it on at night and wake up and my face and hands are just wondrously....smooth and soft. I actually put this on my face over a retinol serum, helps amp the moisture. I love that it is basically unscented. I am very sensitive and I pick up almost nothing from it, so those who are sensitive as I am or don't want something to compete with whatever fragrance they wear, this is GREAT. It's summer and I don't know if I will need to go to their more intense cream for winter, but for now, TOTALLY happy! Oh, and I love I can use on my face as an inexpensive moisturizer and it doesn't irritate my skin! FABULOUS PRODUCT I can use for face, hands, legs at a GREAT PRICE! To have a product that doesn't cost a fortune that does what I need it to do for face and body? One of my all time fav products now.
