LOVE this product! Heavy brass was used throughout. Looks fantastic installed and works like a dream. I love the higher arc on the faucet; it really lets you get your hands in there for scrubbing or for filling up glasses. The kit comes with a small specialized tool to unscrew the faucet screen- so make sure you hold onto it. And don't forget to temporarily remove the screen prior to running the water after installing your supply lines.

chrome finished faucet that is VERY EASY to keep clean

This is a heavy well made, chrome finished faucet that is VERY EASY to keep clean. This replaced the Monticello style Moen faucet which was installed when the house was built in 1994. The handles look close to the faucet but it is still easy to get between to dry off water spots. There are no seams for "gunk" to collect. The higher arc is nicer than I expected and doesn't cause splashing of water out of the sink bowl. The plumber was impressed with the weight, quality, ease of installation and mostly the purchase price.

These arrived quickly. They are excellent quality. I am glad I read the posts. These parts are solid steel, not cheap plastic. I ordered two for the master bathroom. I would definitely order them again if I needed faucets for another room.

Elegant

I finally had all of them installed in my bathrooms. They look beautiful. Photos are brushed nickel and the one chrome.

Easy install

I used this faucet to replace an older chrome 3 holed delta. Installation was a breeze. The hardest part was unscrewing the old plastic lock nut washers when removing the old faucet. I ended up cracking the grips on the lock nut using large needle nose pliers. I had to take out my drill and use a small drill bit to drill several holes in the plastic washer until I was able to break it off. The faucet came entirely assembled, handles and all. Just hook up the hoses and screw on the new lock nut washers and that's it.

CAN'T RESIST QUALITY AT A 40% SAVINGS!

I love my new faucet, as I'd been living with a very basic faucet for 18 years. This faucet is heavy & very attractive. My only disappointment is with the cheap plastic "waste plug". The top that you see which contains the water in the sink is chrome. But below that is a fairly narrow plastic connector only really, to the "lift rod". My old waste plug from an old low end faucet, was chrome & fitted the entire circumference of the drain, and was a great "catcher" of hair that might clog my drains. This waste plug will not serve this purpose, at all.

Moen Brantford Bath Faucet

Moen Brantford Bath Faucet-Kit arrived in sealed box. All parts listed were included(unlike big box stores). Installation instructions were OK- they could have been more detailed. Moen has installation tips and video on line that were helpful. The only addition I would make is to make sure you have plumbers putty available for the faucet connection to the sink as included gasket in my kit seemed to be too small. I put putty around the faucet base and just peeled off excess after tightening. This was my first bath faucet replacement and installation went well.

Water flow is greatly diminished

The faucet is heavy and feels very durable and well made. Installation was very easy. The water pressure in my area is very good and I found that the faucet diminished the strength of the stream. The box reports the GPM (gallons per minute) as 1.2 but the item description says 1.5 GPM. I removed the Cache aerator with the green colored plastic aerator key that came in the box and ordered a 2.2 GPM aerator and that solved the restricted water flow. The size of the aerator is a Tiny Junior 18.5x1 and I ordered it from the New Resources Group at nrgideas.com. They offer different GPM options, 1.5, 1.8, 2.2. I like a stronger flow and went with the 2.2 GPM aerator. It was an easy $5.00 fix. I am very happy with the product and would recommend this Moen faucet.

Perfect quality, well designed!

This is an excellent faucet. I mainly purchased this one for my 2-half bath renovations as my main bathroom had this installed from Lowes' home services. I like the unit but over the years I noted the faucet does build up gunk around base over the years if not cleaned. This isn't a problem as I am always trying to keep sink's clean. I do think this faucet is better than a lot of the newer Moen designs out now. For install, i did hope this to be idiot-proof and for the most part it was. The faucet does not include supply lines or putty like some other brands do. It said so on the listing and I knew from prior experience but really wanted them included to save me an additional purchase. The instructions seem easy. Not having much experience at all with PVC I really needed a pro to finish my plumbing but the sink portion was a no brainer.

Matched exisiting tub faucet and looks good

For the price, it was an easy replacement. Instructions well laid out for a novice like myself. Prep work took longer than installing this faucet.
