This is a classic rattle and a perfect addition for any diaper bag! It's easy for my baby to grasp and shake, eye catching, and fun. Definitely recommend. Especially for the price!

This is my baby's favorite toy and the only thing to keep him calm in the car. Very easy for him to hold and play with. He loves to shake it and chew on it. Bought a second one as a back up so we don't lose it!

My daughter had this rattle and when she outgrew it we handed it down. when I had my son I regretted not holding on to it. the rattle is light and perfect for little hands. Perfect and simple toy for any baby.

Bought this for my newborn daughter. It seems like it’s made of high quality material. The twirl design makes it easy to hold by my daughter’s tiny fingers. She enjoys shaking it to make a sounds from the beads. It’s not too loud. Just enough to keep her motivated to shake it more

I have 3 children, ages 7, 4 and 7mos. Each of my children owned one of these rattles! I bought one for my first baby because it was cheap and one for each of my others because it was wonderful!! As many others have stated: It is lightweight and so, so, so easy for little hands to hold onto. I feel it's the perfect first rattle, because of the handles. My little ones were able to grab onto them at such an early age!! I felt that it was helping build hand coordination as early as possible. One warning: If you give it to them young they WILL hit themselves in the face with it!! The plastic is really light though so it never seemed to bother my kids! I would also like to note that there are still three of these rattles in my house! After 7 years my first one is still going strong! I only bought new ones for the next two kids because it was inexpensive enough not to require being a hand-me-down! So this is an incredibly durable product!!!

We purchased this toy for our first child, almost 4 years ago now. He played with this from the early stages (when he was just learning to grasp things) to well past the crawling/walking stages. I have a small box of keepsakes, and out of about 3 toys this is one of them. We love it so much, that now expecting our second child, I am prepared to buy it again. I highly recommended it. The price is great and it has provided hours upon hours of entertainment for our firstborn, and I expect the same for this new baby. As many others have pointed out, the handles on it are the perfect size for small hands. It's easy for them to grab hold of and keep a firm grip.

I purchased this rattle when my son was maybe three or four months old, when he was just batting at toys and learning how to hold onto things. I liked it because of the sort-of double-helix-like design, which his little hands could hold. However, he wasn't all that interested in it yet, and it took probably until he was six months old before he had much interest in it. Now he is ten months old, and he plays with it all the time, mostly to bang on other things with it. Sometimes he does like it just as a rattle. It's nice that each end is clear on one side so that he can see the little beads rattling around, which helps him start to understand that the beads are what are causing the rattling sound. Because of the handle design, when he holds onto it, his hand kind of gets stuck in the middle. Since it's not stuck to the point where he can't release his hand at all, it's a good thing because it prevents him from chucking the rattle across the room too easily or dropping it out of his play area along with half of his toys. He does sometimes smack himself in the head with it, but he's never done it so hard that he's hurt himself or cried. I guess it depends on your child, whether or not you think they'll hit themselves accidentally and, if so, if they will hurt themselves and/or get upset. Maybe this is best for older babies who have more control over their arms and hands when they get excited. We have some other toys that rattle, but this one is louder than the others, more like a maraca, so it tends to hold his attention longer than the others. I think he is also attracted to the bright colors. I guess there's not much else to say, since it's just a rattle, but I really have no complaints about it.

I have bought little rattles just like this for so many babies. They love the rattle because they can grip it for chewing on easily. I used to work NICU and I bought these because they were cheap, durable and easy to clean. I boght this for my grand daughter and she loves this rattle.

I noticed that when I picked up or dropped my LO off at daycare, she almost always had one or two of these rattles in her hand. I decided we had to get some for home and was not disappointed. Nice quality and keeps my 9 month old happily entertained.

Favorite toy of last week for my little guy. Likes to shake the rattle. Starting to get a little annoyed with it because it not chewable. Seems to prefer his fingers.
