### UPDATED 4/1/2017 Wow, this thing is amazing. Not many review I leave a second update, but this thing has allowed a messy toilet to be clean 24/7. After months using this, my toilet looks new and I actually enjoy cleaning. See attached image ### ORIGINAL POST One dark night I came home to a disturbed wife. She sat me down and shared a sad story with me. The story started out with the fact that there are no such things as “laundry fairies”. She went on to explain by stating that as I get ready for bed and drop my clothes off at the end of the bed, that some fairy does not come along and put them into the laundry basket for me. What she did not know is that I already figured this out, because the week she went to visit her parents, I tripped on those clothes that piled up over a weekend and realized the fairy did not exist. So as she continued to burst my bubble, she then ended with “you need to help around the house more.” Being the researcher that I am, I said okay and immediately jumped on my computer to work, which was not really the case. Instead I went to Amazon to identify what I could buy that would allow me to automate or simplify the chores I was going to take ownership over. At first I saw these killer neato floor vacuums and was floored that this could be my job, and the robots would do all the work! But after I put 3 robots into the cart, one for each floor, I realized this shortcut was going to cost me thousands. So I quickly went to plan B, Clorox ToiletWand Disposable Toilet Cleaning System. So I told her I would clean the toilets as my way of contributing. I ordered the magic wand and was off to the races! When the wand arrived I opened it and put it to work. Here is what I found: OPENING THE BOX - The box contained one wand, caddy and a stack of pads. They were in a cheap plastic bag that had a very chemical and bleachy feel. - The wand was strong and fit well into my hand and was just long enough for my toilets. - You quickly realize you need a location to save the wand and pads. PROS OF PRODUCT - The pads easily clicked onto the wand. - The pads scrubbed the toilet well, even the crusty stuff. - The pads had solid surface area, but still fit into small cracks, for example the upper rim of the inner toilet. - The pads were secure to the wand and did not feel cheap. - When finished with the pad, with just a click you can trash it, never getting your hands dirty or wet. - The wand was easily washable after use. - The pads allow you to clean 2 toilets easily. - No metal! In a prior toilet brush I used, I had scrapped a toilet as I scrubbed, which would not occurred if it did not contain metal! - Clean crisp smell. CONS OF PRODUCT - None are major…. - The pad leaves a blue color behind in the water, which if dripped on light unsealed grout can be an issue. - The wand is made up of two sections put together as one, so there is a seam. You have to make sure you really rinse the wand when do, so you are not dripping toilet water around or building up residual. - A carrier is a must, so you don’t accidently bleach the carpet. RECOMMENDATIONS - I used the pad to clean the top of the seat and lid first, then switch to the internal part of toilet. - I used a towel and spray cleaner for the majority of the outside of the toilet, then wipe down the lid and seat last. - I then use the towel when done to wipe off the wand. - I will clean and flush toilet fast, then rescrub last time to leave clean suds in the toilet until the next potty use (plus it works as proof to the wife that I cleaned it!) Overall, I am the king of toilet cleaning for my household. Not real bragging rights there, but my wife looks happier when I come home. I am still dreaming of ordering the robot neatos, but will use that as a back pocket power move when needed with the wife! I hope this review helps. Let me know if you have any questions and if you there is something I could make clearer, let me know!

So I am cheap af but the dirty water on the bottom of the toilet brush bowl makes me retch. Bought these and instantly realized it's worth the expense. Some people on here saying they use one pad for two toilets but that means carrying a nasty drippy toilet brush through the house...no! After a few uses and seeing how much soap and bleach are in a pad, I came up with a good double use for cheap people like me: First, I take the pad out by hand, not with the handle. Then, I rinse a tiny bit of water in my vanity sink bowl (another gross thing to clean). Holding the pad by hand and not adding any additional water, I scrub the sink bowl. It works great! Then, I snap it on the handle and clean the toilet bowl. First, before it's sopping wet, I scrub the rim/top of the toilet where my son always splashes :-(. Then I clean the inside of the bowl. Bathroom comes out really clean, I get a two-fer-one cleaning job by cleaning the vanity sink bowl and toilet, and there is no disgusting drippy toilet brush to carry around. Hint: wear gloves when scrubbing the sink bowl with the pad or you will have lovely blue cuticles.

So glad I bought this! No more nasty toilet brush!! Yuck! The cleaning pads are super durable and contain a lot of cleaner. I just pop a cleaning pad on and clean the toilet without having to scrub. I move the wand to the wastebasket near my toilet and press the button and it drops in the trash! I return the wand to the awesome holder and done! Y’all gotta get one of these! Just think about how disgusting those brushes are that are used over and over.. yuck!!! Highly Recommended! If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask me!! UPDATE: MAY 17, 2019 I purchased a second Toilet Wand to clean my shower!! It works so well for cleaning your shower walls and gets into the grooves!! I find it much cheaper to purchase the disposable cleaning pads here on Amazon! They last for several months! This is still an Amazing Product! I am STILL using this original Toiletwand without any issues! It hasn’t broke or cracked! Great Quality! It’s still Amazing and Super convenient! Absolute MUST TRY! You definitely won’t return after trying this product! If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask me!

I was reluctant to try this. I thought it would fall apart. I thought the cleaner pad would slip off (remember the old Johnny Mop pads?). I thought it might be hard to put together. I couldn't imagine how it could work better than a regular stiff bristled toilet brush. Well, it does! Color me amazed! Here's why it's great: *The smaller size is better than a regular toilet brush--it gets into small and hard to reach places. *Disposability is a great feature. I don't like a dirty brush sitting around and I don't like that I have to rinse it out in the sink every time. *The scubby bristles on this ToiletWand clean way better than my old toilet brush! I have a very old, porcelain toilet, maybe 100 years old since that's how old the building is. It has discolorations that have become part of the porcelain. However, much to my amazement, this brush has started scrubbing away some grey stains that I thought were permanent.

When I moved into my current apartment, I inherited a toilet brush that had probably been used by the previous six tenants. It was nasty and disgusting and it was ORANGE. Probably originally from a dollar tree. I'd had these ToiletWands before, but I'd left it by accident at my old apartment (boo!), so I knew I needed a replacement. These are so easy to use. You snap the sponge head onto the wand, clean your toilet, and unlock the used sponge head over the trash can. The sponge does not sit in its own filth waiting for the next time you use it. If you want to, you can use a lysol wipe on the end of the handle to sanitize it as well. The handle sits in its own nook in the bin. I love it! I clean my toilet once a week and I like the simplicity that this system has. I'll be buying more refills soon. The only thing is, these don't work with hard water or rust stains. (The downstairs toilet in this apartment is...a nightmare!!). It helped a little bit, but I'm going to have to get a pumice stone or something to get the rest of those hard water stains off. Otherwise, it works great if you don't let your toilet get too nasty.

I always dreaded cleaning toilets bc the whole process just felt so gross. I’d start by taking the toilet bowl cleaner, twisting the gross gunky top open, and squirting the cleaner out as I scraped the head of the bottle in a circle underneath the seat. Then I’d pull the toilet brush out of the gross container of toilet water (that inevitably would find its way into the toilet brush holder no matter how hard I tried to prevent it), trying not to drip the water anywhere, and swiftly put it in the toilet bowl. Then I’d scrub the bowl with the stiff, spaced out bristles that felt like they were only scraping off maybe 10% of the grime. Then I’d flush the toilet so the water cleaned off the brush, tap it on the edge 8000x to try to prevent the toilet water in the brush holder issue, and that was it. I always felt like everything was more dirty than it was to begin with. I’d always wanted to try the Clorox disposable wand, but never did because of cost. Finally I have moved up in life enough to splurge on it, and boy is it worth it. It’s a sponge instead of a brush, so it cleans more thoroughly. The cleaner is in the sponge, so no worries about keeping that nasty bottle around. The part that touches the water goes straight in the trash, so no toilet water in the brush holder issue and no tapping it to dry off either. You don’t feel gross after using it, so if you walk in to find some “skid marks” left by your husband, you can give it a quick swipe without feeling like you have to take a shower after. It is a germaphobe’s dream come true. Just buy these, you won’t regret it.

Finally! Something that actually works! The idea of a reusable toilet cleaning brush is just DISGUSTING! Not to mention when your 2 year old comes running through the house singing into it!!! AHHHH!!!! Enter the disposable toilet wand! Not only is it MUCH more hygienic than keeping and storing a brush used for scrubbing poop, but I no longer have to worry about my little ones getting into it! Whew! This stuff does a wonderful job, and is so simple and easy to use I’ve even been able to teach hubby! Wonders never cease!

So... traditional toilet brushes really, really SCARE me. I guess I get scared easily haha. I don't like the idea of them sitting there with or without dirty bits left on them (if you know what I am referring to) and just being wet and so close to you in the bathroom. That's a RECIPE for mold... which is my #1 fear in life... on par with spiders. No scratch that, I'm not even that afraid of spiders anymore... they are nothing compared to mold. That being said, you NEED to clean your toilet bowl. I don't care if you are the cleanest person out there, your bowl will get dirty. It's not IF.. it's WHEN. I LOVE this product because after you used it, you toss away the head. Theres no wetness sitting in your bathroom next to your toilet. There's no crud left on the WET brush. Ew, ew, EW. Even typing that made me throw up a bit in my mouth. If you are a clean freak, and mold-phobic person like me, this is a life saver, game changer. Use and toss. I use one once a week, if I'm lazy every other week but that's pushing it. I highly recommend and would repurchase if I ever need to (the wand that is) I repurchase the heads when I run out!

So I had a toilet brush that had seen better days and decided to try this. I hate toilet bowl cleaner and feel like I never get it in the bowl exactly where it needs to be. I also tend to get it all over the place. I was able to clean two toilets very easily with one little cleaning sponge. It foamed up really well, cleaned of difficult stains really well, and was easy to disconnect the sponge to throw it away. I would never call cleaning the toilet enjoyable but this makes it come darn close! I hope Clorox is coming out with some environmentally-friendly cleaners for this wand, but other than that this thing is perfect!

Bottom line: -This is a cheap, easy to use, and effective product that works exactly as advertised. I use multiple Clorox products in our house, and trust the brand. For under $9, I feel like this is a no-brainer to make one of the worst household chores quick and dry-heave free. Would absolutely buy again. Here's why: I'm always looking for things that make cleaning our house quicker and easier, and decided to try this out to replace our gross, always wet, toilet brush and holder. I like that the pad is big/thick enough to get under the rim of the bowl, and was surprised at how much bleach solution is in it. The handle is long enough that you don't need to get up close and personal with the toilet while you use it. I used it for the first time today, and it probably took half the time that scrubbing with my old toilet brush did. The pad is rough enough to clean effectively, but not so abrasive that I feel like I'm scratching any surfaces. The best part was popping the pad off into our bathroom trash can, and not having any drippy toilet water to clean off the brush. Hands stayed clean, no water on the floor, and beautifully clean toilet. We have hard water and always have to deal with the rusty brown ring around the water line after a few days, but this cleaned it off no problem. The caddy is small and easily pushed out of the way as well. Yes, its a cheap plastic unit but should last a long time, and again, for under $9, is as sturdy as can be expected. As other reviewers have mentioned, this probably is a great way to quickly scrub shower tile (using a new pad), but I have not tried this out yet. As an asthmatic, I tend to be sensitive to fumes from cleaning supplies, but this didn't bother me at all (I bought the original version, not a scented one). I plan to buy the refills on Amazon when the included pack of 6 run out.
