Slight adjustments, but overall amazing!
It’s a good wheel and at a good price too! The only complaint I have was that it was a little wobbly so I had to move it away from the container wall otherwise it kept banging into the wall and being noisy. So I just put a toilet roll behind it so it has something to lean on. I also used the hairband hack to quiet it down and I never notice it. (I’m a very light sleeper) This is an appropriate sized wheel for my Syrian. Good buy!

Noisy, yea. But well made.
I have had 2 different wheels for my hedgehog. All of which have either contunously fallen over or fallen apart. This one is the only one that stays upright and stays together. It's a bit on the loud side but it's not an issue if the pet is in another room. We came to enjoy being able to hear the soft noises of the wheel from the other room, knowing our crabby hedgy was getting her excersize. This has a small hole in the back of the wheel to allow for drain while washing it which was actually more convenient than it probably sounds. Speaking of cleaning, this is a breeze to scrub and rinse. Totally satisfied.

so I think they like it. It was important to me to get ...
It was important to me to get a solid wheel instead of a wire wheel because it's easier on their feet and no tails get caught in anything. My rats use this a lot, so I think they like it. Rats are nocturnal, so if you can't tolerate the noise at night, maybe keep them in a different room or run a fan for white noise. This wheel was quiet as first, but after a couple months and trying to oil it up, I think it's just kinda cheaply made. The noise wouldn't have been a problem if I didn't sleep in the same room as my ratties. I recommend looking up Carolina Storm Wheel. Their wheels are affordable and run nearly silently. Plus they're handmade in the good ol' US of A. Still decently happy with this purchase as it was the first wheel I bought for my ratties..

Great, but noisy!
Great wheel, but it is very noisy. It's fine during the day, but sometimes it would wake me up at night (and I am a pretty heavy sleeper). I do have my rats cage in my room though, so I can't fault the wheel itself and I did see reviews warning it was noisy. My rats love it, and I've replaced it with the magnum wheel since that is silent, but I keep it around for outside of cage play. If you are looking for a good cheap wheel for rats, this is the one to get. There is a silent version, but not sure how silent it actually is as I've tested it in stores and it seems to make a similar amount of noise. The plastic lip that could come off also worried me, especially the review showing their pets injuries from it so I went with this.

Perfect For Syrian Hamsters
I have 2 Syrian (Teddy Bear) Hamsters. When I adopted them the wheel that was in the cage that someone gave me was WAY too small. She tried to get in it but wasn't able to. I did some research and discovered that this wheel was the perfect size. I bought one at the store but all the pet store were out so I had to order 1 for the hamster that didn't even have a wheel. This comes with a stand but I just removed it and attached it to their cages. Ever since I put them in there they have been running in them non-stop when they are not in their exercise balls. I don't even notice most of the time when they are in them. Super Quiet! I would definently recommend if you have a Syrian hamster!

Pretty much the best wheel you can get
The Kaytee Comfort Wheels are my go-to. Solid plastic so they won't hurt your rodent's feet, reasonably quiet, easy to clean, easy to fix with a little olive oil if they get squeaky, and they turn very easily. My rats, syrian hamsters and dwarf hamster have all loved them. The only trouble I've had with them is that a lot of rodents like to chew the center piece that keeps the wheel on, so at some point you do wake up to the wheel part sitting face-down on the floor of the cage, but... that's rodents for you. I've bought a bunch of these and I'll stick by them.

Great wheel, great price
Perfect size for my syrian long hair hamster. It does not pull his hair. It does not hurt his back or feet. It does not squeak. It DOES however make a low rumble noise, but I can live with that. I actually like that sound for some reason, it helps me sleep. But it is important to be aware of if you don't think you would like that. The pretty blue color suits my hamsters habitat well. It is easy to clean and he does not chew on it. Great price for this type of wheel, the cheapest around! All in all I love it.

For my Syrian hamster
I bought this for my Syrian hamster, I had the 9.5 comfort wheel for her previously but that was just barely big enough for her. Luckily her tank can accommodate a wheel this big! The shipping was very fast, it came 3 days before expected and the wire stand was already attached to the wheel so there was no 'set up' The wheel I used before getting the 12in one was also a comfort wheel so I already knew what to expect noise level wise. These wheels are NOT silent. But they are not loud either! You can hear the wheel spinning on its axis but thats it. (If it's really rattling around I suggest tying some string around the axis so the wheel rests on it more tightly) I've used silent spinners and saucers and the comfort wheel is by far my favorite! Update: so this wheel is MUCH noisier then my last comfort wheel. It squeaks SO loudly! My hamsters tank is in the basement and I can hear her wheel from the second level.

Does what it's intended for.
FIrst off, I'd like to start out with the sheer fact that ANYONE who has ever had a small animal exercise wheel before should know that there is virtually NO WHEEL THAT IS COMPLETELY 100% SILENT! Sorry to point out the facts but even a silent spinner will squeak or become loud with time. Don't get your hopes up too high if a wheel claims to be "quiet" or "silent" because it's false. Next, I bought this comfort wheel with the intentions of my two rats using it safely; and they do. They absolutely love running on this wheel! The best part about it is that it isn't mesh or wired so I don't have to worry about my girls getting hurt or injured when I'm not supervising them. Also, since it's solid, cleaning it is a breeze. You can easily wipe it up or spray it down in the sink or tub. Although it's not the quietest wheel, it does exactly what it was intended for. If you find that it has become "too loud" or "squeaky" with time, you can easily dab a little bit of vegetable oil or olive oil at the axis and that should keep it a bit more quiet. You will have to reapply every couple of days/weeks, but at least it makes the wheel more bearable.

Hamster Highly Recommends!
My hamster seems to really like this wheel. It's a nice size for my Syrian, which is a larger sized hamster that doesn't fit well in the smaller wheels. You can tell the fit by how he looks when he is running on it. If the hamster's head is up or his back is arched even a little bit while he is on the wheel, your wheel is too small! My little guy fits on here just fine and it is not too heavy to keep him from moving fast. Occasionally I have to give it a drop of vegetable oil or pan spray to keep it running smoothly and quietly. I just give it a drop on the spinner during cleaning and it's perfectly fine. Good product and happy hamster. Can't beat that.
