I friggin love this Eye-Vac!!!

I bought the Eye-Vac because I have cats and I don't like the litter that gets tracked and of course fur balls but I love my furkids so when I saw this I figured I'd give it a try especially after seeing the videos. Well this item does not disappoint. It sits right by a big mat that I have down right outside their litter boxes and all I do is just sweep everything into the Eye-Vac and it sucks it right up. And then of course I'll sweep up hair and whatever else and it sucks it right up. The cats didn't really respond to it unless they were close by and then after a couple of times they got used to it. It's light enough to be carried to other rooms just wish it had a handle to do that. The bin holds a lot before you have to empty it. And I like the fact that there is a manual and automatic setting. It's one of those items where you wondered how you lived without it all these years if you have animals or just cleaning up in general. I absolutely love this product and can see why parents have written that their kids fight over who gets to sweep things up into the Eye-Vac. I just wish my cats could sweep.

Everything gets sucked up and when it comes time to dump it ...

Never thought I really needed an electronic dust pan but I can't imagine being without it now. No more chasing the dust line or run away dog hair. Everything gets sucked up and when it comes time to dump it all, it's all contained. You do not have to open the bin lid until you get to the dumpster, thereby cutting down on even more residual dirt being left in the house.

Amazing! I have 3 huskies. 2 are woolly coat and all three are shedding at the same time. My back is freaking killing me bending over constantly and good luck fur making it to the garbage can without flying off and I don't care how careful you are. I LOVE THIS. Kicks a vacuum cleaner in the butt! It empties without a mess. No need to empty it outside either. I cannot believe the amount of fur and dirt this thing can handle and it doesn't plug. 3 shedding huskies in the country. Everyone should have one. Everyone should buy one for an elderly family member to make their life easier with the old lady aches and pains. This thing is getting put to the test with my huskies. Anything that makes LIFE EASIER is worth the expense! If this breaks ... I'm buying a new one.

What took me so long?!

This is the greatest thing ever! Definitely the smartest home appliance purchase that I have made in a long time. I have a Robo-Vac and it works fine, worked fine, until my dog peed on it. The robotic vacs are expensive and then there are the add-ons. Don't get me started, just suggesting that you look long and hard before making that purchase. The Eye-Vac is awesome. My cat and dog keep my hardwoods so furred-up that I think I still have carpet sometimes. The ever present fur clouds demand constant sweeping, pulling it off the broom and scooping it up and pulling the fur off the broom again. Arghhh! Now, I just sweep it up to the Eye-Vac and poof, it's gone, broom cleaned and I'm done. A huuuge advantage is that my husband is old and can't bend to manage the dust pan business. With the Eye-Vac he can easily sweep up to the vac and poof, gone and done. Now, I don't have to do it all the time. I have several different levels in my house so . . . Yeah, there's that problem. The Eye-Vac is light enough to lift easily from den to kitchen and that works for me because I don't have to unplug it and plug it into another outlet. Even so, I'm getting a second Eye-Vac for the kitchen because it is worth it and at $102, not a problem. I see that it has gone back up in price, so I'll wait or maybe get a less expensive version. Before I purchased at Amazon, I price shopped extensively and the price is the same everywhere, but when the price went down, it was only at Amazon (and only in black, the white one was still full price). Bed Bath & Beyond offers 20% coupons for store stuff but in TN with 10% (9.758) sales tax, the coupon is pointless after you go get it across town, etc. Amazon Prime is free shipping, quick and I don't have to do my hair to leave the house. I'll wait for Amazon to drop the price again or see about another version. I can't believe that I waited so long for such a great appliance! My daughter was considering the purchase too. I spoke to my son-in-law after using mine and he ordered it while we were on the phone. Yes, you have to get this and I would call it a mandatory senior person appliance. Since Mother's Day is almost here, let me scream that no mother wants a danged appliance for Mother's Day/her birthday/Christmas or any gifting day. So, get this for the house, but definitely not as a special day gift. Maybe give her flowers and then give her the Eye-Vac.

This is amazing! I hate sweeping the kitchen floor. Ok, it's not the sweeping, but the bending over to sweep the dirt into a dust pan and always leaving a line of dirt no matter what I do. I have been seen taking our vacuum cleaner into the kitchen just to avoid this. (Please tell me I'm not the only one.) This machine sucks up every crumb, every pine needle, every hair. I love it! There's a model that's $20 cheaper, but it's only 1000 watts. This one is 1400 watts, and I like the look better. 40% more machine for $20? Go for it. Spend the extra. You'll love it!

Great company and product.

Love this vac! I sweep all my whole floor and push it up to the front of the machine and I’m done. No more left over dust/sand/grit to mop over, one sweep and that is it. ***Big bonus stars for the company*** I purchased my EyeVac in June, December I lost power no lights no suction. I got on the EyeVac website and filled out a report. Within 3 hours I got a response to check my filter. I did and still nothing... I replied to the email and again within 3 hours they responded. The next day I had a tracking number for my new EyeVac on the way. It was here in 3 business days. I understand products fail...but a company that stands behind their product is priceless to me!! I can’t give enough stars for that. Happy happy happy!!

Works great in barber shop!

I have one of these in my barbershop and I loved it so much that I bought one for my house. In the barbershop with several chairs, we empty it and clean it about once a week or so. At my house, I use it to sweep up the massive amounts of dog hair that my dog leaves EVERYWHERE! I've had it for a while now and still haven't had to empty out the one in my home. I don't use it daily at home, but probably every two days or so. I haven't had any issues with clogs and frankly I'm shocked the power this machine has! At the barbershop it sucks up tons of hair (from full head shaves to several inches of trims, curly hair, straight hair, wet hair, crazy long hair, paper neck strips, everything!). At my house it had sucked up everything from the short coarse dog hair to tiny legos to bits of crayon, pretty much everything that comes with its path. Obviously its not a robotic vacuum that drives along and picks up the junk for you, so you'll still have to sweep BUT I like the idea of a stationary device that sits in the corner and I sweep towards. It doesn't take up very much space, it's shorter than my shoe rack and sometimes I forget its even there. Its a nice, sleek looking device and I would absolutely buy it again. In fact, I plan to get one for each floor of my house.

I bought this on a whim after seeing one at the beauty salon. We have two dogs who shed constantly. I was sweeping my hardwood floors at my new home 3 to 5 times a day and digging for dust pan and half of it flying out was a real pain. I bought a special broom with rubber tips that do a fantastic job of gathering the hair and this just sees it automatically and sucks it right up. Awesome product for both pro stylists and dog people. Everyone who comes to visit loves it. Definitely recommend.

We have 3 small dogs and hard wood floors so this is absolutely perfect! We have tried the Roomba and it gets caught under furniture and smears dog poop along the baseboards of the room. This device on the other hand allows you to have a little more control while maintaining ease and convenience. It may not seem like it but it greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to do a quick clean up for your floors. A simple broom is all you need and within 2-3 minutes and your entire house is done.
