High Quality "Live Steel" .. feel the "Tinks" .. 5 Stars
I bought this in anticipation of changing out the carrier rollers on my dozer and it met all my expectations. Actually, it broke free a couple of 10-1.5mm bolts that the 1/2" impact wrench was struggling with. Breaker bars are generally pretty brutal tools, but you can actually feel what's going on with this one .. the little "Tinks" telegraph down to your hand on the very well designed and finished handgrip. The "Tinks" are important, as you may judge whether to proceed, or squirt on some more PB Blaster and give it another day. After all, it's called a breaker bar .. it will break it loose, or break it off :) Cheers!

Works Well & Worth It
Didja like that generic review title? Good, now let me extrapolate. It's a breaker bar that can handle a significant amount of torque to break things free. I used it to break free engine bolts and it worked like a charm. If I had any complaint, it's that it worked too well. I disassembled my engine so quickly I can't remember how it's supposed to go back together. I haven't taken this thing the distance yet as I have only used it for one job, but it is solidly built with no play in the joint between the bar and driver adapter. It's heavy and gives zero indication of being cheaply built. One could say it: Works well & worth it.

Must have!
Was changing a flat tire like I've done a few times but ran into a lug nut that would not break loose. That's when I found out about a "breaker bar". Most work done in changing a tire is breaking loose the lug nuts. Now I don't have to strain my hand from all the force using a short lug wrench on a stubborn lug nut. I also bought the Titan Tools 21092 19mm 1/2" Drive Non-Marring Deep Lug Nut Socket so shouldn't disfigure the socket whenever I ever have to apply lots of force. If your are not sure what size socket to buy just go to the autozone website, enter your car then search for "lug nut".

Great tool.
Wanted this for doing work on my car subaru forester. The subaru included lugnut wrench is too small for regular use and was starting to bend in my hands. The breaker bar has a nice finish and the pivot can be tightened with a 5mm allen. The head came plenty stiff to not flop around during use. The head is fairly tall which is nice, when combined with a tall socket (needed for lugnuts) it easily clears the rim, tire, and car. If you need deep 1/2" drive sockets I recommend the Neiko 12-32mm deep impact set. My subaru uses 19mm lugnuts, but I suspect the 12-32mm set will cover just about all lugnuts. The tool is labeled as made in Taiwan right under the barcode, same with the Neiko socket set. So far I've pulled 2 wheels off my car and it worked great.

works as expected, get smaller size for a normal vehicle
Works as expected to get off rusted, swollen lug nuts. Would recommend the next size down for anyone with a normal car or SUV. Larger vehicles may appreciate the heft and length of this item (i.e - additional torque). With my car, a Toyota camry, I could not easily rotate this bar. Had to rotate to ground, and then point it towards myself and then continue the rotation. That is not the product's fault, it is my fault for buying the biggest one. However, as a breaker bar is supposed to work, this one works flawlessly. I would recommend you try one out at auto zone or something first to make sure you can handle the weight. It is very heavy (sturdy) and feels like it will last me for generations. However, my wife has difficulty handling it because of the weight (not the picking up and setting down part, the part where you use it to take off lugnuts. You need strong hand/forearms) rtp

Beautiful tool and great value
Mine arrived in beautiful shape. The swivel at the end is just the right tightness. The handle section is actually a little larger around than the main shaft and that makes it fit well in my hand. It's heavy - but that's expected and desired. Can't find anything to complain about and have not used it above 80 ft-lbs yet - so can't answer the question on everyone's mind (what is its max rating). But it will be nice to have for when its needed ! I've included a photo with it alongside a few other related tools so you can get a feel for its size (and think about what else you might want to get ;-)

Quickly became my favorite tool
I'm glad I bought this, it comes in handy all the time. It seems well made, I have no complaints about the quality. I've used it for lug nuts and axle nuts, as well as just loosening any stubborn bolt I run across. Instead of struggling with my ratchet and hurting myself when it finally breaks free, I just grab this and break the bolt loose easily. The extra leverage comes in handy frequently and I have found myself using this tool all the time while working on cars. I don't know how I went without this thing before. Definitely a must buy! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8-26-2018 update: Still holding up after 3+ years of use. I did have an occasion now to use this on an axle bolt requiring an insane amount of torque. The recommended process for torquing is to tighten to x ft/lbs (don't remember the number), then another 180 degrees past that. This is usually done with a breaker bar and a long pipe. The breaker bar was bending a lot with the long pipe on it, and I was not able to get 180 degrees of additional rotation. It made me nervous I was going to snap this thing right in two so I didn't go any further.

excellent product
I purchased this breaker bar before I changed the control arms on my girlfriend's car because I anticipated some nasty frozen bolts connected to her frame. The leverage this breaker bar has is tremendous because the shaft is 24 inches. This breaker bar has been able to remove stubborn bolts with threads corroded for several inches that were originally put in place with loctite. Every bolt I have removed with this tool has come out with very little force. I saw some of the reviews indicating that the shaft flexes when in use and in some cases the tip has snapped off, which concerned me. I haven't seen or experienced any significant flexing, let alone breaking, which makes me wonder what procedure other reviewers are using to remove stubborn bolts. Prior to removing a stubborn frozen bolt, spray the threads and nut with "PB penetrating catalyst" or "WD40." Allow the fluid soak in to the threads for a few minutes before attempting to remove the bolts. In a real bind a bolt can be warmed with a torch to remove it, but I've never had to go that far. If someone is removing a bolt that causes this breaker bar to flex they should consider moving up to truly industrial sized tools like a "30 inch adjustable wrench" or a giant industrial sized ratchet like the ones used on diesel trucks. This 24 inch breaker bar is is my first choice when the tool can fit into the space I have to work with. Due to its length, I can't always get into wheel wells and other tight spaces, so I also purchased a 15 inch companion breaker bar for tighter quarters work.

Indispensable around the Garage
Bought two for a recent timing belt change and couldn't have done it without them both. Sometimes an impact wrench just won't cut it. OD of the handle is ~7/8" so keep that in mind if you buy a pipe to use as an extension bar with it.

Excellent breaker bar for the Price.
I always wanted to have a breaker bar, till date, I have been using a long pipe on my wrench to give me the leverage. I decided to finally get a breaker bar, so that I can fit tight spaces. I recently worked on replacing the starter on my Honda Accord and boy, this long breaker bar was quite useful. First off, this is on Amazon prime and the price is really very low compared to the competition. I was a little skeptical on the build quality, but boy, I was blown away to see how well built this breaker bar is. It is solid metal , no kidding, it really feels quite heavy to work on, as the name suggests, you only want to use it as a breaker bar, any continued use, will cause fatigue to your hand. The 1/2 in drive was quite nice, fit all my craftsman sockets without any grief and was quite snug. Overall, this breaker bar did the job with very less effort to loosen the bolts. The handle is quite decent and provides a nice grip. If the handle had some sort of rubber, it would have been better, but again, as I said above, you will only use this to loosen the bolt, so not a biggie. Amazon and/or the the seller sent this in a big box, seriously, sometimes I wonder if the packaging is more expensive than the product, so if you are worried about any damages to the product, you should put it to rest :-) I would like to use it for a Timing belt job on my truck, I will have to see if this withstands the Crankshaft bolt. Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied in using this breaker bar and will definitely recommend it to anyone in the market for 1/2 drive breaker bar. For the price, this is the best I have shopped for. Even at HarbourFreight, a comparable breaker bar is more expensive than this one, nothing against HF, however, when I looked at the HF breaker bar, it did not look as sturdy and as well build as this one. If you have a lot of money, I think the ones from expensive brands definitely look good, however, believe me, you will use this very sparingly to loosen tough bolts, for which purpose, this is plenty good.
