Not your mother's desktop file!

I own several of these for my hanging files and have recently found that when you turn them so they sit on one end they also make excellent free-standing book holders! I have one in my kitchen that stores my cookbooks and cookbook holder. I also have 2 that store all of my crochet pattern and reference books! Much better than bookends since they are stationary and offer such easy access without everything else falling over! The best thing is that they are portable and easily moved from one location to another without having to remove all the books!

I love it! I use it inside of my teacher bag (Thirty-One's Zip-Top Organizing Utility Tote). It keeps all of my papers and planners standing up and neat. I got it at the recommendation of a veteran teacher and it was well worth it.

EXACTLY what I needed for my office!!

These are EXACTLY what I needed for my office. Two of them fit perfectly side-by-side in my cubical storage shelves (12" by 12" shelves), and they provide a great place to hold my hanging files without needing a filing cabinet. They're tidy, convenient for easily moving files around, and hold a good number of hanging folders! Love them!

Durable & Transportable

I purchased two of these file folders for use at my house. They arrived together in a big box. Both came with five of the panda flex hanging folders. That was a nice touch, I immediately put those to use. They do come as one solid piece. No assembly or anything. Between the two of them they fit everything I had in my [old] desk file drawer with room to spare. There size easily lets them fit into our closet cabinet where they will now be stored. They are built very durable. I have had no issues pulling them out and moving them to my desk when I need to get in them, then back to the closet. The design of them also makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Another benefit of these particular file holders is they have a solid bottom. So if something does fall out or through, it won’t be lost on the floor forever. It is just in the bottom of the folder. I have plans to use these for a long long time. My wife even liked them when she saw them. I wouldn’t be surprised if we are ordering more of these in the future.

Perfect If You Have Minimal Space (or Money) to Work With

This is perfect if you don't want to buy (or don't have enough room for) an entire filing cabinet, like myself. I just keep it tucked away in my closet and can whip it out whenever I need to find or file something. It doesn't come with enough folders (in my opinion), so I would suggest buying another box of plain gree n Pendaflex folders from your nearest office supply store to set yourself up. Overall, wonderful product!

Exactly what I expected to get.

I purchased four of these to pair them with the Lorell mesh rolling file(as pictured). I put the hanging files that came with these on top and will use these in the bottom to store regular file folders. I am very pleased with this setup. I'm sure I'm not the only one that likes to put together relatively disparate things for maximum personal utility. I have absolutely no complaints about this product at this time.

Once you get it, you'll come up with a million uses for it, it's the perfect size

Love these. After the first one, I then bought 5 more.They fit PERFECTLY into those IKEA storage units, the 2x2 or 3x2 ones that everyone has. Plus, if I want to work on just a few things, I can use this to transport them back home, another office, etc. Love it.

works exactly as I'd hoped

Works exactly as I'd hoped. I bought these because I reconfigured my office, replacing most of the furniture (including several two-drawer filing cabinets) with Ikea Kallax shelving. I hoped to find some sort of hanging file storage that would fit inside the 13x13 cubbies in the Kallax unit. Based on the measurements, I hoped to be able to fit two of these side by side in each cubby. The measurements provided were exactly correct. The fit is perfect. I just ordered two more.
