Great kit. More expensive, but far better than the competition. I bought a set of applicator pads and the trim restorer seperately, things I think should be included. Since my car is only a year old, I only used the interior detailer, shampoo, tire shine, and wax, but the other bottles will come in handy for other cars/ my car in the future. Wax has a deep shine and a slick feel, beads water easily. Tire shine is vivid, not sure how long it will last. Interior mister is good. Non-greasy and removes dust and dirt well. Very satisfied.

I purchased this kit, as I was intended to buy most of these products anyway and it was much cheaper bought as a kit. All of the products work very well and are very high quality, as would be expected of Meguir's. -The car soap has a pleasant smell and easily lifts off dirt without scratching your vehicles paint. -The wax really impressed me. I work offshore and washed and waxed my truck a few days before flying out. My truck stayed in a dusty gravel parking lot for two weeks and still looked freshly waxed when I got back. Normally it looks like someone took a plaster impression of my truck and forgot to wash off the residue. So, yeah the kit was worth it to me for just the wax alone. -The tire shine is excellent and is probably the best I've used to date. It is a very thick gel, that is a little difficult to get into all the nooks and crannies, but provides a very long lasting shine and protection to you tires. Make sure to get a foam applicator pad, as it's not easy to put on with a microfiber towel. -The interior detailer works very well and provides a barrier against dusk and smudges, without leaving a nasty oily residue like some other products do. I hate using the greasy products, cause they always make my dash shiny and the residue seems to trap more dust and fibers than a matte finish. -The wash mitt works really well and is very soft, so I know it's not going to scratch my paint. My only complaint is that it is a little difficult to get clean and I can see myself having to replace it soon. I got some tar on it when I drove over a freshly paved road section and that stuff is now a permanent part of the glove, it's only a very small spot though. -The foam applicator is a little disappointing, it feels porous and unsubstantial and doesn't really hold was any better than most cheap foam pads I've used. It's not my tire shine pad. -I haven't used the plastic renewal product yet, since my truck is pretty new and I don't have cloudy headlights. -The drying towel is alright, but I really prefer natural chamois to synthetic ones, nostalgic I guess. It does works fine, but just doesn't have the same feel to it. -My only real gripe is with the clay bar, while I love the detailing spray and it will get a lot of use for touch-ups in between washes, the clay bar just isn't aggressive enough to work properly. I would personally go with Mother's clay bar kit if you are looking to get a good removal of contaminants and stubborn stuck on stuff. All in all though this kit is an excellent purchase for anyone just getting into detailing that needs the basic products to get a good long lasting shine on their vehicles.

Really a wonderful kit, especially for a relatively new person to actually maintaining a car's appearance. I've used Meguiar's products for quite awhile, particularly their wipes and interior detailer (just for basic cleaning and such). However, I just recently bought a truck that I love and decided I wanted to take care of it. This kit really has everything most people would need for their car care regimen.

Yes, I'm one of those guys who prefers to hand wash my car rather than run it through a drive-thru or heaven forbid subject it to one of those high school fund raiser car washes. This kit provides everything one needs for a basic car wash. For an upgrade, I do recommend getting a good wash mitt and grate (the grate goes in the bottom of your wash bucket and ensures abrasive debris doesn't get trapped in the wash mitt). I am especially impressed with the quick detailer. Between hand waxing, I have used the quick detailer to keep that new-look shine. Spray it on, wipe it off, and the car simply gleams. Mequiar's is a well known (maybe the most well known) brand of car care products and their quality shows in the results. Since trying Mequiar's, I've not even thought about using any other products.

I was very excited once I received my car detailing kit by Meguiars. Every time I've used their products it showed wonderful results. I bought this kit and went right outside to detail my 2005 Chevrolet Impala. It was in dire need of a fresh wax and cleaning. I washed the car, clay barred, and then waxed it. This was July 22nd. Today is September 21st and my car still looks shiny like the day I detailed it after I get it washed! The clay bars, wax and tire endurance gel work WONDERFUL. The tire gel gives the tires a wonderful shine. As far as the scratch remover and headlight restorer go, the scratch remover takes care of light, little scratches, so don't expect it to be magic. The headlight restorer I found is pretty mediocre. It removes a slight amount of oxidation on the headlights, for a few days, then it comes back. The interior spray works wonderfully along with the quik detailer spray for the outside of the car. 5 stars to Meguiars!

Got to admit was a little skeptical after reading some negative reviews. Highly recommend following Meguiars cleaning and waxing steps for beginners. Can easily be found by googling or youtube. I dont recommend the scratch 2.0 thats provided in the kit. Only product in here that didnt work as advertised. Could be on my part though since the scratch looked like it went down to the metal. Created a small discoloration in the area I applied it to. Used the clay and quick detailer and the discoloration was gone. Probably user error but wont be trying the 2.0 again any time soon. My first time detailing a car but overall end product was good. Check out the photo for proof. Only did one coat of wax. Sorry if the photo doesnt convince you, used my phone.

After reading all the reviews here on Amazon, I decided to purchase. First wash, I used every single product in the kit on my garage-kept car, and the results were amazing. It shines like new! The ScratchX product helped a little bit, but some of the minor dings are still visible (I blame myself for being so anal about the car). The PlastX worked wonders on my headlights and taillights. And the wax was a breeze to apply and she gleams. Second wash a week later I skipped the clay and primarily focused on a second layer of wax, what a difference. Seems to cut through the air now when I drive! Not to mention, the tire gel works better than armor all, very impressed. Recommended to those who love their car!

Seems half this stuff all does the same thing.. I tried, for example, the clear polish and the plastic polish on the same equipment and noticed absolutely no difference. But I'm no expert / cleaning professional. But it's nice to have specialized product for exactly what you want. All the products seem of high quality. I was impressed that the clay product worked just like they say it works. Not a huge difference, but a difference, and that's what it says it will do. The soap/shampoo is of excellent quality.

Forget Armour All! Once the Mini dealership told me they use Meguiar (Maguire!) products for cars in their shop I've used nothing but them since. I can't get over how inexpensive this set is. I'm going to calculate how much it would cost to buy everything individually. This would make a perfect gift for anyone with a car but especially someone who got a new car. So easy to take care of your car when you have all of these products on hand.

So if you are pretty new to detailing and want to get this done in one day I just want to let you know it requires a lot of wiping. You are going to wipe your car while washing it, wipe it dry, wipe it with a little clay bar, wipe ScratchX on, wipe it off, wipe the wax on, wipe it off, wipe the whole interior, and wipe the tires (twice is suggested) then wipe them off. The tire gel did work for my black trim on my Impala's exterior. It is not the product's fault but expect an arm workout. If you have the money you might want to buy some polishers or something. Some notes on the products themselves: Interior detailer: If leaves almost no shine. Pretty standard as far as cleaning goes but if you're not looking for any shine this is your best bet. Exterior detailer: This is like the car version of a multi-surface cleaner. Use this if you don't feel like washing your car. It works. Tire Gel: Smells like grapes. Try to rub it as close as to your tread as possible but don't put it in your treads if you value your life. This does make your tires black. Car wash: Really soapy and easy to use. Combine with water. Wax: I am sorry I actually can't say much about this. I had a really hard time even telling if I wiped it all off because my car was white and it was getting dark. PlastX: My 04 Impala has good looking headlights. This product is the first step for cars with yellow headlights. I put this on an extra foam/cloth applicator and used it on my mother's Accord. It did work very well but the plastic still looks a little foggy like almost a hazy clear color. I am not sure if the headlights need something else put on them to make them clear or if it's because they're old but they look 10x better than before. ScratchX: Worked really well under all the door handles. Will remove a lot of stuff that nothing else in this package cannot. Works especially when used on the paint marks on your car (elbow grease not included.) Clay: If you haven't used this before it's pretty much silly putty or maybe even clay in the size of a bar of soap. I personally feel like it should be bigger but this is just an intro pack. You're going to wipe your whole car with this little thing. The wash mitt is cool. Gets your soap really sudsy. The towel is 2 notches above the bulk microfiber towels. The foam applicator is cheap but better than nothing. You're going to need extra applicators or at least extra towers. One towel is definitely not enough.
