Duct tape wallet anyone?
I mean it's duct tape. What ISN'T it good for? And 3M is by far the best. I can't believe I know this but I've used 4 different brands of duct tape in the past and always remember 3M as my preferred duct tape maker. I don't even know what i've been taping all these years to have used so much tape but here I am, writing a duct tape review because I've apparently used enough by now to know which brand is best. ...3M

LET ME TELL YOU!
I have sadly moved way too many times. In that time, I have wasted so much money on tape that was supposed to be super packing tape. This tape is amazing! The adhesion sticks so well, it didn’t even come off in the humidity. Easy to use, didn’t need a lot of it either. Absolutely recommend, don’t even bother with something else.

but it must have been good because I don't recall what I taped together
I'm not sure what people want from a review on duct tape by a known brand but. It's tape that could potentially be used to hold ducts together. I used it on.... you know i'm not sure anymore, but it must have been good because I don't recall what I taped together. I'm sure it'll have a million more uses come the taping season.

Great for keeping diapers on toddlers
We duct tape our toddler's diaper on at night so she doesn't take it off and smear poop on the walls. So far we've had great success and I'm very happy with the purple and pink versions. It has facilitated our negotiation of putting on her "magic princess belt" before bed.

Far superior to cheap dollar store duct tape
Went on the cheap previously and got a roll of $1 duct tape from a dollar store. Bad decision! When using it to secure some tarp around a fruit tree I wanted to protect from frost, the adhesive started to deteriorate, with much of it left on the next layer of tape as I peeled it off the roll. 3M tape adheres and tears much more firmly and cleanly. Great for fastening tarps, securing wayward children, fun and games in the bedroom, and various other tasks.

This was not purchased for the normal intended purpose but I will eventually find a use for it. I used it daily for 2 months to remove a wart from my husband's arm. I have to say after putting a circle of tape on his wart, changing it every 5 days and letting the air get to his skin one night per week, the wart eventually disappeared. Duck tape rules! This is a lot of wart removal tape...a lifetime's worth but it stuck well, didn't fall off, stayed on through a shower and got rid of a wart. Can't ask for more than that!

Great tape. Holds my world together for pennies until a professional can come charge me a small fortune to fix the broken taped thing. I've used this for years. It has never let me down.

Its duct tape, and the adhesive is good
Bought this for a "throw away" job that I did not want to use my 3M rigger tape for. Its good duct tape. If you REALLY need to hold something consider rigger tape and 3m is all about adhesives. Never really gotten a bad 3M adhesive product.

The perfect tape for my needs.
I had been going through a "Goldilocks and the three bears" routine, looking for the perfect tape to join plastic carpet runners and resist liquid leaking through. Some were too heavy and sticky, some were light, but not sticky enough. After a couple weeks of usage, I believe this one will be just right. It is clear, with filaments running crosswise, and I'm able to get a good "stick". I'm very happy.

Stronger Than a Tuxedo Cat
Similar to many people, I assume, I use duct tape for all sorts of things. Has the screen in your screen door come loose? Duct tape it. The plastic handle of your can opener cracked? Duct tape it. Did your landlord do a crappy job installing your bathroom shelves? Duct tape 'em. Battery pack of your Christmas lights won't stay closed? Duct tape it. And on and on, ad infinitum... I have a tuxedo cat. His name is Sidney. He is a holy terror on ice skates. One of his favorite things to do is to open the sliding doors of my bedroom closet and perform his best Tasmanian Devil impersonation, taking out his multitude of frustrations on my clothing. I have tried to dissuade him from opening my closet doors in many different ways: wedging cardboard between the doors, in the tracks, propping large sketchbooks between the door and wall... I have even tried *industrial strength* velcro on the edge of the closet door and the wall! I couldn't get my closet open at that point, but Sidney still could!! I'd considered duct tape before, but thought, 'Duct tape won't work... If Sid can get past velcro, duct tape won't have a chance.' Finally, out of sheer desperation, I tried it. And.... it worked! Three strips at eye level seems to work best- strong enough to hold the door closed, and high enough that he can't chew through it. O duct tape! Why did I ever doubt thee?! ;)
