Love this. The only value regular white glue has in my classroom anymore is as a reagent for making borax slime. One box lasts me a year's worth of projects, but this depends on how many projects YOU are doing in your classroom. If you have any leftover at the end of the school year, place in a ziplock for the summer and they will last and not dry out. Also, you'll use them first at the start of next year.

Only came with 29 glue sticks but for under $6 for 29 glue sticks was a great deal! I have a preschooler and she runs through glue sticks so these will really come in handy!!

We are constantly running out of glue stick in my kindergarten class and a box like this is just what we need! I've tried many other glue stick companies but none come close to Elmer's. Elmer's glue sticks do a good job sticking papers together without the mess of wet glue. And the purple color is so helpful, allowing the kids to see where they're gluing instead of running the glue over the same area numerous times. I definitely recommend this product!

For some reason it is very difficult to find white glue sticks in stores. These are excellent for older kidsb and projects you dont want to have the glue show after it dries, as is sometimes the case with the purple variety.

I bought these for home craft projects with my little girl. I even ended up using them to glue construction paper to a rewards book she took with her on a trip. Works great! Sticks well, doesn't clump and so long as you have soe sense and don't leave the stick uncapped or face down on carpet, I think they will last for a long time! She had a blast making Christmas decorations using them. So much neater than the squeeze and explode bottles we used as kids.

I purchased the 30 pack box of Elmer's school glue sticks as my kids go through them like ... well, Halloween candy. A 30 pack box ought to last them 9 months. I like the glue sticks. I grew up using lots of liquid glue. Often I would apply too much liquid glue to the back of paper and when I'd go to apply it to, say, poster board, the paper would be wet / soggy, and glue would seep out the edges of the paper and make a mess. That does not happen with glue sticks, not, at least, that I've been clever enough as to discover new ways to make a mess. The Elmer's brand of glue sticks is, in my opinion, a little stickier than competitor brands, and it is consistent. The only down side that I can tell you about is keeping the lid off or losing the lid - very easy to do with glue sticks unlike the liquid glue - it attracts dog hair and dust and it dries out too quickly. wrapping the stick in a small piece of reynold's wrap seems to reduce problems caused by lost lids. I'd have made them square for easier storage and less chance of it rolling off under the sofa. I give everything a grade, and this product, I believe, merits a solid "A". I recommend it over liquid glue and I recommend Elmer's brand over competitor brands for consistency and quality. It is useful in schools, offices, and homes.

My kids' school asks for school supplies every so often so when I was looking for glue sticks and saw this package it was perfect. I thought the price was pretty good, and elmers makes the best glue sticks by far. These were enough for the entire class plus some extra. I would definitely recommend.

My kinder students ran out of glue sticks and many could not afford to buy new glue sticks. They started using the glue bottles but those are so messy. My students love these glue sticks (other brands are poorly made and cheap); but, overall these are best loved by my students and me. I know these glue sticks won’t last long because they are in constant use. So I’m hoping I can get a special price when I order again. Thank you very much!!

I ordered Elmers All Purpose School glue stick 30 pack for a kids crafting class and extras for home use. My 3 year old and I found the small sticks worked well on foam and paper projects. I'm glad we have extras because my little one tends to leave the cap off for long periods of time and the sticks dry out.

I use this for lots of different sewing things. It's a bit unorthodox but I even use it to glue the crap out of my zippers before I install them. It helps them stay straight-- sometimes pins can distort the installation. The downside to this technique, is that you have to wash whatever it is you're making after you're done sewing it. But I find that most things that are sewn are also intended to be washed, so that's not really that much of a con. It's a really good set of glue for the price that you pay.
