Great Hoop!

Quick shipping, easy to assemble, sturdy and easy to adjust. We have had all the teenage boys over playing basketball and haven't had a problem yet. Definitely worth the money!

Very nice product. Looks and feel professional. Assembly is very hard and requires several tools. I am a handy person and took me 5 to 6 hr to put it together.

Hits all 3 of main criteria

My criteria for a portable hoop was 1) Acrylic backboard 2) enclosed hoop springs to prevent rust and 3) Huge base. I bought this thinking the base was too small, but it is plenty big to hold it down. My worries about a wobbly backboard and not being able to shoot a bank shot were unfounded - it is extremely sturdy. Plus the setback from the base is pretty good, especially for the lower heights. Adjustment is easy enough for my 5 year old to change. Wish it had a measurement device to tell me how high it is. The enclosed spring should make it last a long time. Lifetime is the way to go. Can't comment on setup cuz i was scared enough to pay for install. 2 guys 2+ hours.

Durability and function great addition to any back yard.

Finally reviewing this product after a year of hard use. This product took a little time to put together but once completed the quality was evident. This hoops has been through two winters sitting on our court with no signs of wear or break down. I definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a long lasting back yard hoop.

Nice Hoop! love it! No more flimsy backboard!

Built it all by myself took 3 hours. All worth it, instructions were great. Love the infinite height adjust mechanism. Very sturdy hoop love the big 54" backboard great rebound with the acrylic surface(Had a tiny 44" one). Ah side from "the beast hoop" by spaulding this is the best portable hoop I've ever had and seen and played on. I highly recommend this hoop to players and serious ballers out there! Be ready to give up a few hours if your alone though for installation!

Strong and Easy to assemble

Very easy to assemble, it me a few hours alone to put this together. Nicely constructed and my 12 year old can change the hight easily.

Consider Paying for Assembly

I didn't want to pay another $100 for assembly and wasn't sure how I would coordinate it anyway so I decided Mom (me) and my 15 yr old son would do it together......well, we did it and I feel like we really accomplished something. It was not easy and took about 8 hours over the course of 3 days. I would recommend paying for assembly.

This is very well made and is super easy to adjust the height. The directions are very easy to follow but be prepared for the long assembly time. I am very mechanically inclined and it took 4 hours for me to assemble it by myself. This is not meant as a complaint; only the reality you will face. I strongly recommend you have a minimum of two people for the assembly.

Can’t beat the price-amazon installation service great!!

This price was better than we could find locally. Although I like to support local business. So instead we used the amazon service for installation. Had a lovely local older man who was meticulous and was well worth the cost to have it installed.

Kids love it!

Okay, it did take a while to put together. Two adults and a few hours. But the kids love it! I can't believe how smoothly and easily the hoop adjusts. My five year old is able to move it up and down by himself, and it seems so sturdy that I am not worried about him getting hurt. The only minor issue to point out is that the sticker that is supposed to be used so you can adjust to exact heights did not work with our system. Not sure if there was a product update and the stickers are outdated, but they did not fit. We made our own marks on the post so we know where to position the hoop for specific heights. But overall, I think it is a great hoop for the price.
