LOVE THE RAZORS

I first purchased these razors with the Platinum Extra Smooth handle. I was absolutely thrilled! I have tried almost every shaving product available from disposable razors to a single blade luxury razor that retails for $75. These razors coupled with the Platinum Extra Smooth handle are the best razor I've used. They are extremely easy to shave with and I find that they are very moisturizing with no razor burn. I have never been a fan of the razors with the disposable blades because remembering to re-order them always seems like an extra step of work. These razor heads and the Venus Platinum handle make the extra step of ordering them, worth every minute. They leave me with a perfect shave that lasts!

Favorite brand

I love the Venus blades, they leave a smooth finish and last a long time. Make sure to hang it up or leave it blades up in your shower caddy, the blue outside layer will get slick and sticky if left face down on the side of the tub. I definitely recommend this product!

The only razor I use for sensitive-razor burn prone skin

Literally the only razor I can use for my sensitive skin—lady parts, legs, armpits...with any other brand I can only shave 1x a week or so unless I want extremely painful razor burn. But with the Gillette Venus extra smooth 5 blade razor? Pure Gold. My boyfriend consistently uses it too, despite my harping on him to use his own razors. The one thing I remind him all the time and would tell anyone else, make sure that if you leave the razor in your shower/tub, keep it razor side UP (so that the blade isn’t touching the surface of the tub or anything else). The water and moisture will cause the green/blue padding-moisture bands To ooze into the blades and makes them much less effective.
