I was getting fever blisters fairly regularly. I began taking L-lysine every morning to stop the outbreaks. It works if you use it properly. Take it on an empty stomach with a non-protein drink. Wait at least 30 minutes before you eat. Occasionally, I will have a fever blister that will try to break out but I will take an extra amount of lysine and the outbreak disappears without ever forming a blister. Taking lysine has been a daily habit for years now.

Use this for immune support and boosting for me and my cats. Really helps us all... colds, flu, energy and allergies so duration shorter, recover quicker and can say it saved one of my cats 6 months ago when real sick. She was throwing up, couldn't keep food down and thought I was going to lose her. I increased her dose to three times a day and gave slippery elm 2 times. The combination and a lot of prayers brought her out of whatever was happening and so thankful for this product. A staple in my house and have cats on it from time they are weaned. Helps a lot for me when I am really worn down and helps shorten flu symptoms for me too.

love this i take it for my shingles , along with CLEAR cold sores, shingles, i start taking both the minute i start feeling my cheek starting to itch , i know my shingles are going to break out. i take 1500 mg 3 time a day , it breaks out on my cheek so i have to get to treating it a.s.a.p. so its not going to get severe .works great. i take it for cold sore and mouth ulcers too ,the same amount.

Finally a cure for extremely painful canker sores?!

Only used it a few times for the past month. I usually suffer from a mouth full of canker sores around my menstrual cycle. As soon as I felt one developing I took one and it went away immediately. So far so good!
