My better half has poor circulation and in turn cold feet and hands. I purchased this as a Christmas gift and it was a huge hit! I've actually got my feet up on it right now and am jealous I didn't buy one for myself. It has low and high settings, I find myself using it on low and usually with slippers on, but I have good circulation and I've noticed my better half uses it on high with slippers on, but I've been told there is a difference and it really helps. It's easy to set up, just take it out of the box, turn it on and plug it in. It has 4 adjusting points on the bottom so you can prop it up one way or the other or not at all, depending on what's most comfortable for you. The ONLY downside I've found is that it slides and could use some optional rubber feet. I tried putting some on it, but they came off shortly after; I may try to glue them on. It may also be nice to have an on and off switch on the cord, my better half usually just unplugs it vs. crawling under the desk. Great product! I will update my review after some more time with it.

Not too big, not too small, and just warm enough for the purpose, this warmer hits all the right buttons. My desk is next to a large window, and in the Michigan Winter there's often a chill along the floor. I've tried this warmer at the low setting - using about the power of a desk lamp - and it keeps my feet comfortable without having to remove my shoes (I'm up and down a lot so taking off my shoes really isn't an option). Set up on edge, the high setting really beats the chill under my desk on really cold days, using about the power of a floor lamp - much less than any typical space heater I've seen, but enough to stay comfortable. Delivery was quick, the price is right, both to buy and to use, and it looks good. What's not to love?

Wow. This thing gets a lot warmer than I thought. I have yet to put it on the high setting. The low setting is perfect. My co-workers and I bought one of these for our boss a couple of years ago (yes..it has lasted that long) because her office was cold and she absolutely loved it. In her office she couldn't have a space heater because it took so much electricity that it would trip a fuse and everyone's computers would go out. She loved it so much that I finally decided I had to have one too. Not only does it keep your feet toasty warm, it also helps you sit more ergonomically when your feet aren't cold. I do have to be careful not to accidentally turn it on with my feet though. I have done that on a couple of occasions. I hardly run my space heater at all any longer.

I was skeptical buying this as I wasn't sure it would "work" all that well for me. But I must say, this thing does get warm. I used an infrared thermometer to see what the panel temp was and the range in temp is between 110F and 125F and it stays at those temps. Standing the panel up to radiant heat does not work for me, I left it standing 2 hours and my feet were freezing. But putting your feet on the panel works 100% and it is amazing. There is one drawback that I have noticed, this thing stinks BAD. I've had it now 3 days and every time it is on, it smells like burning plastic. I hope the smell goes away but for now, I just turn a fan on to move the air around in the room.

I suffer from the dreaded Popsicle Toes: my feet get frosty even when the rest of my body is comfortable...and once they chill down, they refuse to warm up, even in a nice warm bed. I've had to get up at 2 a.m. and run hot water into a foot basin just to get my feet warm enough to let me fall asleep! But with this little number on the floor in front of my favorite chair, I just flip the switch, park my chilly tootsies on top and let the blessed warmth soak in. This heater is not intended to warm up larger areas (though it might do for warming a tiny room or under a desk), but it's perfect for keeping your feet toasty. Saves energy, because I don't have to run the furnace as much. The angled feet can easily be removed so you can hang it vertically or keep it flat on the floor (that's how I keep it; so far it hasn't damaged the carpet beneath, even though I forget to turn it off sometimes). I've been using it for 2 years without any problems, but if it ever conks out, I'm getting another one—I wouldn't want to be without it!

I'm on my computer a lot, and it gets pretty chilly inside the house during the winter time. Before I would use one of those heater lamps (looks like a fan, but has a heater instead of blades) that you get from asian stores and put it next to my computer chair. However that means only one side of my body is heated, and my chair and desk would also get dangerously hot. Also it seemed to have damaged my skin with some kind of burns because I would use the heater lamp too close to me (otherwise I couldn't get warm). This feet warmer has none of those downsides. I can finally ditch the heater lamp and sit comfortably in my computer chair without my body unconsciously leaning towards the heat source like when I was using the heater lamp. Some people in the reviews are saying this feet warmer is too hot or not warm enough. I think the highest setting is definitely not warm enough to use as a general heater ( like it is suggesting from the instruction manual). It is quite toasty, but also not too hot at all for my bare feet. The low setting might not feel warm at first, but when you keep your feet on it for a while your feet will be warm. Very comfortable and much safer than using a heat lamp. I use this with a snuggie blanket for those long computer sessions. Another huge plus is that it's very affordable (under $30 at the time of my purchase). I have been using this for a month now with no problems, but I will update my review if the thing stops working like some of the people in the reviews are complaining. As of now, I like this thing enough that I will buy another one to give to my sister. Update April 2019: The legs are broken and my puppy chewed the knob off, but the thing still works like new.

I've tried regular heaters, electric wraps, blankets and heating pads to keep my feet warm in the winter while working on a computer. None really worked well. I found this heater and read all the reviews and decided to take a chance. Well it's now cool enough outside to start using the heater and so far so good. Set up is easy, fold down the short legs to 90 degrees and then push them up to lock in place. It doesn't wobble or fold the leg underneath. Set temperature to low and I can feel the warmth through my shoes. Nice. perhaps a bit to warm without shoes but winter isn't here fully yet. So far this is great. Glad I purchased this item.

I bought two of these, one for my wife, one for me. My wife uses hers mostly for the stand-up heater. I read all the reviews before I bought. The assembly of the two legs was easy and the directions very clear. I read the reviews about it being "cheap plastic". I don't know how "cheap" it is, but yes it is plastic. We don't jump on them or abuse them...so far, no problems. What might be construed as a problem is the amount of heat it puts out. Well duh, you bought a heater! After a while, it does get too hot for my bare feet, so I put a towel on it. If it is still too warm, I turn it off for a while. Am I getting too logical? Doesn't have a thermostat or remote control...it's a heater, not a computer. Would the extras be nice, sure, but then the price would have to go up. Would I recommend this, definitely.

This was a gift for the DH to use under his desk in the winter. His office is a corner room in the old part of the house, and the horsehair plaster walls, while original, are poorly insulated and radiate cold like crazy, as do the old windows. On days when the temperatures are in the teen, this (plus the Cozy Products HI-LO Remote Control Power Switch: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FOPQQI/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2) is the difference between him being able to sit at his desk and work comfortably vs. having to sit downstairs on the sofa with a laptop. He thought it was kind of cheesy at first, so he didn't even bother adding the remote power switch--he didn't think he needed to since he didn't expect to like it. But once he actually turned it on and put his feet on it, he was hooked. He plugged in the remote and mounted it under the desktop the same day. (It also attracts cats like a magnet. They love their heated cat beds, so this thing seems like a cat-heater to them and they love it when he "forgets" to turn it off.) Pros: Nice looking (or unobtrusive, depending on your decor) and easy to wipe clean. Stable base, adjustable angle--feet do not slide off. Long cord. Attractive to cats. Cons: Your better half may never leave their desk again. Attractive to cats.

I waited over 1 year to get this device, boy do I wish I got it sooner. As i type this I have my bare feet on the heater on low. Absolutely great. I do not even have to raise the heat in my home , The warmth at my feet keeps me very comfortable, I take blood pressure pills and it causes cold feet Thermal socks during the day right on the heater, yum.. No smell just nice heat. I tested the wattage and it is as specified 45 watts of warm safe heat priceless.. I never use the high setting low is just fine. I leave it on all day to heat under my desk, I added a togle plug in to control the heater with a light. You will enjoy it.. Fine tuned it today added a 1.5 inch threaded screws washers and 2 nuts to add a longer pivot to turn on and off with my toes. Drill hole towards the top and screw it in it clears the lip around the switch. Find small nuts first to fit in bottom of knob... Now perfect.. I just turned it lower with my big toe,to col off my feet.. on high will easily heat under your desk..
