For years, I've been using the slightly "wider ones" but THESE were absolutely PERFECT for my use: to strap on our heavy-duty LED Safety Flare Lights on our handicapped electric scooters for night riding... no more lost lights due to broken "pipe cleaners", which I used for years. These grip and STAY-GRIPPED; no fuss, and NO WORRIES! Thanks for these. One can never have TOO MANY OF THESE!

Works great for my purpose

I bought these to see if they'd work with my cross stitch frames to keep the sides tight. They work like a dream and I ordered 3 more so I can color coordinate. I know it doesn't matter but I like the idea and I have multiple projects on frames so I can set those up as well.

Handy product that works really well

I finally got tired of looking at all of those unruly charger cords for my iPhone, iPad and other small electronics that I just kept stuffing into a drawer and decided to purchase these nifty little Velco wraps. I like them a lot but confess that for smaller cords that come with phones and tablets I just cut off both ends and use them as smaller Velcro wraps because you don't need quite that long a strip to wrap them. I also didn't feel the need to have a hook and loop closure for the smaller cords. The longer length and hook and loop work well for keeping larger cords under wraps but for the thin cords that I purchased them for that is just too much cord wrapping for me and a shorter piece of Velcro works perfectly. I highly recommend these and the multi-colored ones are selling at a special price on Amazon for $2.98, and I thought that was terrific deal. I wish this product came in a roll without the hook and loop closures, so you could just clip it at the desired length, but since I haven't found that this works just fine.

Great for organizing lighting cables on truss

These worked wonderfully. Owning a production business I always need a good way to neatly tie up lighting cables on a truss which can easily then be undone quickly after the gig. Nylon zip ties are great but create quite the mess between cutting of the excess before the show and cleaning up all the cut zip ties after the show. Plus, there is the issue of having people cutting them right next to expensive DMX cords. These Velcro cable ties save the day. Easily organize all my cables on my truss and look for clean in tidy in the process. Would highly recommend and will be buying more in the future!

Awesome colors from the original company!

I have a lot of audio cables, as I have a large PA system for my band. I specifically bought five of these assortment packs, specifically for the colors. I wanted to color code everything! Mic cables are one color, speaker cables another, etc. Could I have got black ones cheaper? Of course! Heck you can buy a 100 roll of cheap, imported, basic black junk for a couple bucks. So did I pay too much for color and name brand? I suppose. But how often do you buy these? Every couple years? And Velcro invented the stuff so you know it's well made. For me, it was a no brainer purchase. Love em!

Wonderful Invention! Great for creative problem solving!

Maybe it seems strange, but I have never really noticed Velcro One-Wraps before. (I've probably used them so many times at work for laptop cords.) I needed something to hold my walking stick to a new roller walker. I also used two to hold the basket onto the base of the roller, since it was poorly designed. Works well, easy to pull apart when needed. Ordering a few more packs of these and a roll of two-inch. I really like the rainbow colors, makes the whole idea more cheerful. Brain is thinking, "Hm...what other problems will these solve?" Great invention!

Great cable wraps in a rainbow of colors, but where is purple?

In terms of function, these cable wraps are great. They're on the long side at 8", making them far more useful than standard 6" cable ties. They're thick and durable, holding up with even large bundles of cables. The velcro adheres without fail, as one would hope from the original Velcro brand. The colors are helpful in making it easy to follow and label cables in terms of function. Curiously, however; instead of including all six colors of the rainbow, 3M chose to include only 5, leaving out purple. Not that I'm partial to purple, but it just seems rather arbitrary, particularly given the current popularity of shades of purple. In addition to selling packs of five of these, 3M sells a pack of 60 - 12 sets of all five colors. Perhaps they should consider selling 6-packs that include all six primary and secondary colors, as well as 60-packs with ten sets of all six colors. Maybe that's silly, but the lack of purple seems a bit odd.

Perfect tie size for smaller cables.

I've used several Velcro tie products before. This is a great size for smaller cables and is less bulky than the larger size Velcro ties. They will just barely accommodate a tightly-coiled 6ft ethernet cable. I'm using them for my USB charging cables, iPhone/iPad cables, etc. The ties are well manufactured, and have not broken or otherwise failed (I have had some off-brand ties that have torn, and at this point I'll only buy genuine Velcro products). They have a widened end with a slot that lets you semi-permanently attach the tie to your cable, so it stays with the cable when you have the cable unwound.

Order more than you think you’ll need!

Trust me, you’ll keep finding uses for them! The best feature of these reusable ties is the way they can be looped onto cords so they don’t get lost or accidentally thrown away between uses, such as the one I keep on the toaster. If the tie wasn’t attached to the cord, I know my husband wouldn’t put it back on after he makes toast! I have them in every room of the house. I use them on all the small kitchen appliances for neater cabinet storage and neater countertops. I use them in the bathroom for hair styling tool cords. They’re useful for shortening lamp cords and cleaning up the mess of cords behind the television. I keep a set in my kitchen utility drawer and my toolbox.

Exactly what I was looking for.

What you get: 5 thin colored velcro straps (blue, green, yellow, orange, and red). These straps are true to the images. They are 8 inches long, & half an inch wide. They are of great quality, very durable. They have a great hold, & a nice feel to them. I've used them with my smallest cables to my biggest cables, & with my thinnest cables to my thickest cables. They work great! They're very adjustable. I now have my cables all neat & organized. Overall, these are really good strong straps that securely wrap around my cables without losing its hold. I purchased two packs of these, that's why you'll see two orange straps in one of the images I've provided.
