Finally a puzzle that has each letter on one puzzle piece. My granddaughter actually goes through the alphabet over and over to put it together. If she gets one wrong it will not fit.....She loves it. When she finishes it she gets so excited that she did it all herself. Best puzzle EVER MADE! My child plays with this puzzle every morning. He is in LOVE. I will have to buy it again bc we are wearing it out bc we play with it wayyyy more than any puzzle normally would get played with.

Learning is fun!

This puzzle is great for my pre-K class. I like the upper case/lower case letters on each piece, and the children appreciated the animal art. It's very well done. The artwork is bold and whimsical. The pieces are sturdy. It's self-correcting, unlike some other alphabet puzzles I have used.

Great Alphabet Train Puzzle

My two preschoolers love this puzzle. I like that it cannot be put together out of order, so it helps them learn the correct order of the ABCs. The puzzle is really durable. The pieces are thick and the illustrations are bright and fun. My boys love putting it together and then moving it down the hardwood floor, as if the train were moving. They also run their toy trains along it, and the puzzle has stood up to all their abuse really well. And, since the pieces are so large, cleaning up this puzzle is super simple. We keep the puzzle in its original box, since it is a good quality, durable, laminated cardboard. I would recommend this puzzle to anyone with a train loving, animal loving, alphabet loving child.

Fun and educational! But requires a lot of space!

This puzzle is a lot of fun and great for learning the alphabet. Most of the letters have an animal that starts with that particular letter...some have an animal that is supposed to symbolize a word other than the name of the animal (ie. Q has a lioness to symbolize “queen”). The puzzle itself is pretty large and you would need one long space (like a hallway) in order to complete the full puzzle. This would also be great for classrooms.

Excellent and Fun Way To Re-Enforce The Alphabet

This is a very high quality puzzle that is fun and engaging to teach your little one about the alphabet. It also helps teach about sizes, shapes and colors because the train cars are in a color pattern. 4 colors repeat in the same order so it also helps provide another type of clue as to which piece comes next. My daughter loves doing this puzzle with me and my husband and then we sing the alphabet song afterwards. A wonderful game for a reasonable price.

4 yr old had no interest in alphabet until this puzzle!

I bought this same puzzle about 5 yrs ago for my son. I wanted him to at least know the alphabet before he started school but he had absolutely no interest in learning it. (He has since been diagnosed with a learning disability.) At the time he was really into trains and puzzles so when I saw this puzzle I got it for him. After only a few days of playing with it he knew his alphabet! Within a couple of weeks he could say the alphabet forward AND backward. And within a month he was saying the alphabet using only the animals that represents each letter all the way through without skipping a beat (Aligator, Bear, Cat, Dog, Elephant...)! I definitely recommend this puzzle for anyone who is teaching a kid their ABC's. The one I bought back then lasted several years but it's time to buy another one for his 2 yr old little sister.

Bought this for 2 1/2 year old twins, and it is a great buy. Just hard enough challenge getting pieces together, and we can talk about the alphabet and alphabet sounds or the pictures. I have to hand the appropriate letter that comes next, so it is not an independent puzzle at this age. Initially, I also had to give cues because they'd get frustrated if the piece was upside down. Now, they can figure that out for themselves. Colorful, large, thick pieces. They ask for it frequently. Sometimes, their attention won't last to the end of the alphabet, and we come back to it later. It is long, so you need a good long space available.
