Will continue to buy as many of these as I need.
My 2.5 yo son hasn't figured these out yet and they are easy for adults. He went through a phase where he would bang the locked cabinets (there is somewhat of a gap depending on your cabinets). This didn't break the plastic or the cabinet. These also work great as hinges for gates - in the right situation. I have used these to attach a gate to a "bar" and then swing the gate open when needed.

for the price a good product, possibly not child proof
These are cheap child locks. I bought them to keep my cat out of the lower kitchen cabinets but if you are buying them fur a child realize that they do not seal the doors. Even with them fully closed I can wiggle my cabinet doors open about 1/2 inch. Also they do not lock, not a problem for kitties without opposable thumbs but the release is simple bysqueasing the top and bottom of the catch. It might keep babies out but probably not toddlers. The plastic is also a bit flimsy, if a child pulled back with their body weight it might snap. As I said none of this is a problem for me as I am using them for cat locks not child locks.

GOT KITTENS? These are perfect!
If you're looking to kitten-proof your cupboards, these are it! We have knobs spaced 5 inches apart, and it's funny because 95% of all the other slide-locks here max out at just 4 1/2 inches. We gave these a try, and they're perfect. Easy to use. and simple design!

They work!
These are great! As long as you remember to lock them every time you close the cabinets! Although my almost 4 year old knows how to open them now, my almost 2 year old still doesn’t know yet, and she’s the little snack thief in the house, so they are definitely doing their job keeping her out of cabinets she shouldn’t be in.

Great for French Doors
We bought these because our little one has figured out how to open our office french doors and gets into trouble. We use these to prevent her from getting in there. They are easy to open and close and can adjust to different widths of handles (Meaning if they are further or closer together)

but if your kids are like mine cooperation isn't really their thing so I'm not ...
We have been using these kind of locks on some of our cabinets for two years now, and they have really stood the test of time! Out of the six or seven we have, only one broke, and it was because my four year old got hold of it off a cabinet and purposefully yanked it apart. On the cabinet, if closed correctly, the kids can't get it off or break it free in any way. And the finger holds are just wide enough apart that it makes it hard for little hand to try and use. Could two kids working in concert get it off? Maybe, but if your kids are like mine cooperation isn't really their thing so I'm not too worried about it. Would definitely recommend to a new parent or old for keeping cabinets or double closet doors closed!

Works great!
Purchased these to keep my doggie out of the garbage under the sink. He managed to break through whatever I tried using, including speaker wire, to secure the cupboard handles. The empty cat food tins were just too enticing. I even bought a bolt lock, but it just slid out when the doors were opened. These actually worked! They're plastic, so I thought he'd easily break them. So far, he has just bent one. I guess it has been enough of a deterrent to prevent too much ingenuity on his part. I doubt I'll ever find wet coffee grounds and shredded napkins spread all over the kitchen floor again!

easy to use
I had to put locks on our cabinets at night because of moms alzheimers, she wonders while we sleep and gets into everything. Broken eggs on the floor and counter tops. Feeding dogs chocolate, feeding cat raw eggs. I can now sleep in peace.

If you have a wild baby like me.....
I have a toddler who LOVES my kitchen cupboards. L O V E S. I have tried a few different baby locks, but these are my favorite and the most cost effective! They are easy for ME to get off and on, which is hugely important. And its hard for my son to get off! :) I love that Im not damaging my new kitchen cabinets, nothing to screw in. Save yourself some money and a headache, and buy these first!

Great, easy, non-permanent way to child-proof
Love these. A quick and easy solution to keeping toddlers out of cupboards without needing to permanently fasten anything to them. These work really well with D-shaped handles, and not as well on knobs unless the knobs are much wider than the area where the knob connects to the cupboard. We have recommended these to my parents even so that when we come to visit they can easily child-proof their home without hassle. Also, since they aren't permanent, you can take them with you! YAY! Yep, we like them.
