Love this magnesium!

I am allergic to magnesium stearate and in high doses and this NOW Brand does not contain any stearate in it that causes me to react. I have taken this Magnesium Citrate for about 2 years without any problems. It took months to identify my allergy. Magnesium Stearate is a filler in many supplements. Now I have all products I take. My doctor help me find this Now Brand of Magnesium Citrate and I'm so thankful we found it for a reasonable price.

Wonderful for headaches

I used to get 1-2 really bad tension headaches a week. Since starting this, they have dropped down to 1-2 per MONTH! This works so well for keeping headaches at bay that even my husband started taking this every day. And, full disclosure, this is NOT the magnesium that gives you the poops. (that would be magnesium sulfate) Just in case you were wondering/

I have a super high need for magnesium so I take a few of these a day plus magnesium glycinate. Citrate will make bowels too loose if taken too much so i get my extra with the glycinate version. It is so nice to not have tight muscles in my feet and legs. Magnesium relaxes them. Even my plantar fascitis goes away with enough magnesium. I take about 800- 1000 mg a day.

Works

Had cancer surgery and needed something to grease the intestinal wheels as it were. The liquid version of this is very effective but has a hideous taste. Like drinking acid with lemon juice. It works without the urgency of the liquid but has given a surprising boost to my mental and physical alertness. I don't know why but I've made no other changes to my diet. Perhaps when one gets older unexpected things like magnesium deficiencies sneak up on you. Who knows. But it does fulfill it's primary mission of kick starting the gut.

I use this for my LPR reflux issues. Zinc Carnosine, D Limonene, Mastic Gum, and DGL/Slippery Elm have all helped out. Especially the D limonene and Zinc Carnosine. If you have reflux, GERD, LPR. Try them. They may make your life better.

Magnesium is wonderful, and NOW brand is the best. I felt sick/run down a lot, had digestive issues and magnesium has helped immensely! I have been taking i for over a month now, and saw a difference in my mood, and energy level after a few days.

Doctor recommended from functional medicine doctor at the Cleveland Clinic. Magnesium is great for detoxing, but also great to improve sleep when taken at night.

really helps me feel better

prefer capsules, these are a good size even tho the volume of magnesium means that i have to take several (bottle recommends 4/day and i take 3/day). multis never have enough magnesium (maybe bc of the volume) and it's a very impt mineral imo. i notice a definite beneficial effect on digestion/food processing, and probably a slight but noticeable overall benefit. there is no smell or taste to the capsule. have been buying this brand for a while and am pleased w it.

Great product at good price - it works

3 members of our family use this product daily and love it. It does what is needed and gives your body the natural magnesium so many of us are lacking. It also helps with muscle pain and problems and if one suffers from constipation. We will continue to buy it again and highly recommend it. NOW products are quality at good prices.
