Perfectly simple!

After an illness I was on a feeding tube and could only have crushed ice to suck on for weeks, so I tried a lot of methods to fill a glass with crushed ice, and this simple tool was the best, hands down. It is fast, simple, and effective, plus needs nothing but rinsing after use, though it is dishwasher safe. The fancy machines I tried were a huge pain and still didn't work as well, and the 2nd best method of using a hammer and a plastic bag was both louder and produced less consistent sized ice chunks.

Very small and simple to use.

I have used this ice cube crusher a number of times. If the ice cube is placed in it properly, and held with the bottom part down, it crushes the ice perfectly. The thickest edge of the ice cube should be placed along the forward part of the crusher (near the hinge line). Its perfect for making single drinks. Remove the top part and dump the crushed ice into the glass. Do this two or three times or more depending on how much ice is desired.

Fun to use for yourself

Maybe you can use it with one more guest, otherwise everyone has to crush their own ice. It sometimes can take a bit of time/effort if you want a whiskey glass filled with crushed ice. I love it and use it all the time. The quality is impeccable. For every whiskey drinking that likes it with just a bit of crushed ice, this thing is awesome! Also for cocktails I imagine.

Crush ice easily by hand

This is a great product. No complaints whatsoever. Put an ice cube in there. Squeeze it. Voila! Crushed ice. Rinse it off and put it up for use the next time. Couldn't be simpler or more effective.

Doesn’t crush a lot of ice at once, but does a nice job with what it does crush

Crushing a single cube of ice at a time seems more tedious than it is. I get through a couple average-sized ice cube trays in maybe 5 minutes. Not so bad. And the device itself dries easily and takes up very little storage space.

It does s good job

It was small, served the purpose that I wanted, and I would recommend it to my friends.

The way the pic looks, I thought there were two hinges, but it only has one. Initially, that disappointed me, but when I used it, it is exactly what I want, and the smaller 1 hinged version fits in my kitchen drawers better. Really happy with it, the condition it came in and the packaging. So much so that I recommended this to co-workers looking for a manual ice crusher.

Didn't know what I was missing out on.

Works as expected

Solid manual ice crusher. Will not give you small cubes (look at the design of the teeth) but provides for easily crushed ice for drinks, etc.
