Love, love, love this DVD Player!!

I bought this product at Walmart as a gift for my 7 year old son who has special needs. He loves DVD's but he also loves pushing the buttons and making things happen. I introduced this to him last week before making an 8 hour road trip for the holiday weekend. It was perfect! The buttons are big and he learned what they do very quickly. He's dropped it and tossed it a few times already. The worse thing that has happened is that the DVD came dislodged. The thing looks like we've had it for a long time already because he is very rough with toys, but it has held up wonderfully! I'm thrilled and highly recommend it to anyone who's child likes to be in control of his dvd player. Two quick things that I don't like for my situation, I wish the door could lock so he couldn't get it open. I am using a small piece of tape to keep him from getting it opened and from scratching the dvds. And it takes a little longer for the dvd to start playing. Children (and parents) will have to learn a little patience. Otherwise, AWESOME!

The kids Love it!!!

We got this for an over active 3 year old boy, who can barely sit still to watch a whole movie. Once he got this he was glued to it at the table and doesnt move till the dvd is done.

I am shocked at the abuse that the Tough Kid DVD Player is taking and still able to play. My son has dropped it many times and it still works. Sometimes the sound button gets stuck (from being dropped so many times). I have to keep it charged because he uses it everyday. I haven't taken it on any road trips hopefully, it will be able to stay charged for at least 2 to 3 hours. The product arrived within 5 to 7 days in its original packing. I will definitely order from this person again in the future.

Came fast and was new as described. I had purchased the same item from walmart, which was defective,and had to be returned. My grandson love wathing movies while traveling. good for this.

Great product

We purchased the kid tough camera for our son two years ago and loved it so we decided to give this product a try. I am so glad we did our son loves it. He takes it around the house with him and it does not skip a beat. I love that I can plug it in each night and do not have to worry about burning through a ton of batteries the on-board charger is FANTASTIC.

This thing can take a beating

We got this for our three year-old son, and since we have had it, it has dropped from the kitchen table numerous times, dropped in the car, the sidewalk, the bedroom, bathroom, and anywhere else. It keeps going. Yes, it is pricey. But consider that the price confers to the buyer a player that a three year old can actually hold and use. Other DVD players are much too fragile to hand over to a child. This one is durable and easy to use. The buttons are easy, menus are usually bypassed, and the option to use an AC adapter, car charger, or the built in rechargeable is a blessing. I absolutely recommend the travel kit. My only change would be to ask for a green LED light that changes to red when needing charging. Otherwise this is a DVD player that your child can take anywhere. The stand makes it nice to prop up, and with the travel kit, it can connect to a TV as well. There may be cheaper ones out there, but this is one that you can hand over and not worry about. And that's worth the price alone.

I bought this DVD player for my 2 year old grandson and we love it. It is very durable and operates without problems. I wish the screen was a little bit bigger.

PERFECT!

I know that this was a hard DVD player to find since they are not manufactured anymore, but with a child who has a disability, this is an amazing toy for her. It took a few a few tries, but we got it!
