When I ordered this, I pictured it to be larger, so when it arrived I was disappointed, But then I discovered that I could remove the 3 trays and put in 2 aluminum casserole dishes and it was a perfect fit. It worked perfectly for Thanksgiving! The following morning I was able to use the smaller trays for breakfast ( bacon, sausage and turkey sausage). If you have a large group to serve, this is a must!

Nice for parties

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It holds a lot of food and keeps a nice constant temp. I would have given it 5 stars for all categories but the lids got a slight crack after one use. It doesn't effect its ability to work but disappointing that it cracked right away.

I love this thing

Okay, I love this thing. The lids are a bit thin and you need to be careful with them, but as far as functionality it is outstanding. I was able to fit 5 pounds of cooked burger in one, another one had several cans of beans and the third had shredded chicken. We used two of these for a party of about 30 people and it was more than enough, probably could have done it with one believe it or not. Also the heat is super even and easy to maintain. We cooked everything the night before and put it into the trays and refrigerated it, took them out the day of the party and warmed them up in about half an hour without needing to check on it. Perfect. HIGHLY recommend and it doesn't get warm underneath, so you can place it on almost any surface without worry.

Exactly what I needed (more than what I wanted)

Bought this for a backyard BBQ buffet where I had a pulled pork, chicken and beef slider station and needed a way to keep the meat warm. This did the trick perfectly. The trays were bigger than I expected (a nice surprise) and the tray kept a steady heat. I really liked the thermostat; I could lower the temp as the day went on and the trays were less and less full. The lids are a bit "thin" but I did not have any warping or melting.

Good and Hot

It is certainly smaller than I expected, but it kept the food good and warm. Be sure that your food is still warm when it goes in.

Worth it!

These were great. I used them for a party and they worked out great. they kept everything warm as they were supposed to. I did and would recommend that whatever food you put in if possible add a little water so that it doesn't burn or harden on high heat.

I love this!

I'm a fan. It's nice to keep things warm while we're cooking other parts of dinner, and this was the most inexpensive one I could find in this size. Works great!

It's Hot...

I just recieved it, all intact. I plugged it in and right away started to warm up (I put it on low). Nice and clean. Excited to use it for my Halloween party

Absolutely love it. I use it for BBQs birthday parties and Xmas Eve dinner and it cleans so easily. Keeps food warm for hours and holds a lot more food than you think it will. Thinking of getting another one so that I never have to use Sternos and aluminum pans again.

Makes Hosting A Breeze -

I cannot tell you how happy I am I found this product! I was looking for an alternative to those aluminum chafing dishes for my son's grad party. I wanted something a little more presentable and not so high maintenance. This buffet server did everything I wanted it to. I used it to keep taco meat and chicken wings hot. We were in an outdoor venue and this just made it so easy! The dishes held more than expected. Received a lot of compliments on the warm food and the buffet server! Yes, the covers are made of plastic, but didn't see this as a problem. A couple of times the lids blew off when a gust of wind flew through - so if they were made of an even heavier plastic that would be nice, but like I said - it was really a non-issue. Everything cleaned up easily with soap and water. Would highly recommend.
