Perfect size, fits right inside the holster that you can find on a different Amazon listing. Was easily able to paint this to make it more accurate i.e., look like an actual blaster. I used plasti dip and some silver paint and voilà.

Great little costume! true to size. I purchased a size 6-8 for my 5 yr old grandson and he loves it.

I bought this toy gun to use as a prop for my Han Solo costume for Halloween. The fact that it's bright orange wasn't an issue for me. I simply spray-painted it matte black. To keep campus police from pinning me to the ground, I taped off about a half-inch of the barrel so that it would stay bright orange when I painted it. That way everyone can clearly see it's a fake gun. It's lighter than I expected, but it fits really well in my hand, and I've got tiny hands. I'm very satisfied with my purchase (although I'm not sure why I'm being asked how the product fit, I'd say it fits fine). You can put batteries in it, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's much more fun to make the pew-pew noises yourself. Also, the noise that comes out of this gun is horrendous. Like a really growly Ewok. Maybe I got a defective one, but I don't care. I didn't buy it for the sound, I bought it for the aesthetic. It worked really well, and was a great price for what I used it for. I've attached images of the final painted product, and what it looked like while I was spray-painting it. I'm really happy with my purchase.

My great-great nephew loved it. It fit well and he wants to wear it all the time.

The orange is so bright that is almost glow-in-the-dark. But since I intend to paint it and weather it to become realistic, this is not an issue. It's light, of course, but that also doesn't other me. And I like the size of it, big enough for an adult to look good handling it. I wish the holes at the tip were actually hollow, but we are talking about a super cheap toy. This toy is great for the price. Can't wait to make it look real. Nothing like having a good blaster at your side.

This is an excellent product. The Han Solo gun prop was delivered on time and well packaged. The gun has some weight on it so it feels like a better quality than a cheap plastic toy. It also has sound effects so it is fun for kids to play with. I had to spray paint it black for a Han Solo costume but it was fairly easy to do. I recommend this product as an accessory for a children or an adults Han Solo costume.

This is a very nice little costume piece. I got it for my OC smuggler for cosplay, and just did a repaint to make it look more like Hans blaster. It's modeled after the new hope blaster, and makes the blaster noises which is pretty great! The screws to open the battery pack were kind of put in tightly, so just make sure you have the right screwdriver or you will strip out the screws!

This is a dynamite replica of Solo's iconic blaster from A New Hope. It is different than the one pictured but better because it has the scope (see attached photo). Unfortunately the color is, of course, atrocious, but all it takes to make it look like the real thing is a simple paint job that anyone could do. If you do an image search for Han's blaster you'll find several different color schemes because it changed slightly from movie to movie and also in publicity stills. Some shots show a brown handle and gray/silver muzzle tip. I went with the all black model that Han wields in the original film. I started with a layer of white primer, added a flat black base, then finished with a black semi-gloss to give it a metal-like sheen. The final step was to distress it a bit to give it that well-used look that Han's blaster (and everything in the original film) had. I just gently raked the blaster across some bricks to scratch up the black paint a bit so the white primer layer shows through. Now it looks like the real thing!

Ignore the raucous colors, the shape of this pistol is pretty reasonably close to the screen version in The Force Awakens. I know some folks are offering finished pistols for much more money, but tou can easily find instructables online for painting this to look more realistic with only a few colors needed (black, metallic silver, brown and primer) and the white and orange (or white a blue) are easily hidden. I wasn't interested in the sound effects and I didn't even load batteries, so I can't comment on that aspect. This toy is a nice basis for an easily-modded cosplay pistol for Han Solo! The orange muzzle means you can leave that part uncolored to more clearly mark it as a toy gun, which is required at some Cons.

This gun has some great detail for what it it is. I bought it to repaint in the style of Han Solo's blaster. An easy project... Simply sand off all the raised lettering on both sides, pry off the muzzle cap (it comes right off!) and drill the holes that are marked/indented then prime and paint with Rust-Oleum! It was really easy and looks great. It's really fun for cons since it makes the "pew pew" sounds. Happy with this! However, I should state that I am 100% irritated that I couldn't have it delivered to my house in California. That is sooooo stupid. I had to have it delivered to a friend in Nevada and he brought it to me.
