Great project for kids to do; makes adorable gifts!

I ordered this as a product to do with my kids, ages four and nearly three. They definitely enjoyed the project! The magnets are precut and very sticky, so they attach to the tiles very well. We have two hanging on our fridge right now and the others will be used as gifts to grandparents. I think it would be nice if this came with an extra fine tipped paint brush, though, as the one included is not very good for small details. Considering the tiles are so small, you pretty much will end up having fine details. I don't think there is any way to paint "Happy Day" on a tile with the included brush, as pictured on the box, for instance. They're really only big enough for an initial with that brush. With that said, this set does include enough material to make ten small magnets, which means these are perfect for kids to decorate and send out to family for birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc.

No complaints at all!!

This is one of my favorite crafts that I have done with my three-year-old PROS -It's a very easy craft -Not too many pieces -The paint is thick, so you don't have to repaint -Magnets are plenty strong enough -If you get the paint on your table (we did) it washes off easily No CONS here!! We absolutely loved it and plan to purchase it again.

Very cute & a great kid project!

I bought these to do with my niece, she wanted to make little Christmas gifts for her parents & grandparents. They were PERFECT! Easily paintable (used the paint from the box & acrylic paint that I already had), dried quickly and I even kept a couple for myself!! :)

AWESOME kit, LOTS of fun

This product is fantastic! The paints that are included are limited in color, but they work for their intended purpose. I am NOT a great painter, but I think the magnets came out well. I didn't think of it, but I agree that Sharpie markers would work better for design/aesthetic reasons...I might try that! The magnets came with a sticky backing, and were easy to apply AND the perfect size for the magnets; all of the magnets are on the fridge--none have fallen due to lack of adhesion to the magnet. I would definitely recommend this kit--I loved it, and my sons (ages 8 and 11) loved it, too!

Fun and Creative Activity

The four girls (ages 8 - 12) had a lot of fun painting images on the tiles. They initially followed some of the sample art on the box. If they made a mistake, they noted it was easy to wipe off the paint and start again. There was a color mixing guide inside the package. One of the problems is that the mixing guide noted colors to mix with red; however, the paint set did not include red paint. The girls found ways around it. We cut apart the paint buckets to make sharing easier. Also, it helped to have additional brushes so as to switch between colors without having to rinse your brush each time. The paint set was overall easy to open. The wet paint also wiped off easily from surfaces. They all enjoyed it and said they would use the kit again. The girls also said they would buy it for a friend's birthday present gift too.

Fun craft for kids

I bought 2 of these kits - one for my daughter and one to give to her friend as a birthday present. Both girls really enjoyed the craft kit - and I have a lot of beautiful magnets on my fridge that my daughter made. 1 note - I am not a fan of paint and the mess it make....so my daughter used sharpie markers for her drawings instead of the paint and the markers worked perfectly.

A perfect craft - so simple & great for gift-giving!

Purchased these to make as Christmas gifts for our family from my 18-month-old, who loves anything art-oriented. She did a super job and I am impressed with how well-made they appear and how easy it was to adhere the magnets (which seem to be STUCK - I did intentionally put a significant amount of pressure on them on a flat surface so as to be sure they would stay put). I ordered three packages and and none of the tiles were chipped or cracked so excellent packaging as well!

I am so impressed with this little kit! I bought it along with several other crafts to do with my five-year-old son on rainy days. We painted our tiles and after they dried I added a layer of modge podge to seal and set our little creations. We attached the magnets which stuck nicely and were appropriately strong for the weight of the tiles. I'm going to give them as gifts to the grandparents!

My daughter had so much fun!!

These magnets were a really cute project!! I bought this set so my 7 year old daughter would have a fun project to do while she was recovering from having her tonsils removed. I surprised her with them and she was so excited! There were plenty of tiles for her to paint and she even let her sisters do one. I read some reviews that said that there was not enough paint but my daughter had plenty to finish each tile without running low. It kept her busy for a few hours and the end results were super cute! I would definitely buy these again and think they're worth the price! Hope this review has helped!

Loved by a 7 year old

Even though most of the tiles have come unglued to the magnets, this is still worth it if you just add some extra glue. We bought this for our 7 year old for Christmas and she told me it was her favorite gift! She colored on all the tiles by the end of Christmas Day. I will be buying again.
