Love, love this mini trash can!!! With kitchen trash on other side of kitchen, this is perfect! Although we have 4 in the house drinking coffee and we empty a lot, that doesn't bother me. I imagine it would get pretty gross if it held much more than the 7-8 we get in there before emptying..I just include it with my weekly kitchen cleaning ;) And, it matches items at coffee counter!!! See attached pic!

This is absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for. The top comes off so you can use a liner (a doggy poop bag works perfect and for a lot of us is something we already have around) and for ease of emptying and cleaning. But I purchased this to put in my laundry closet for lint. Takes up no space and can hold a ton of lint before needing to be emptied. (I won’t be needing to use a liner for something like just lint, I just wanted to show well that would work.) Durable, “finger print proof,” and clean. Very happy with this little guy.

It's small enough to place right beside our Keurig and toss the pods and sugar packs etc in. It looks nice in our office. We were looking for something that looked "professional" instead of the colorful ones we were finding elsewhere. Simple human brand is also a really good brand. I have a larger can at home and it has held up nicely where others broke within year. This one has lasted longer than that so I expect the small one to last even longer since it's only being used to collect coffee items. Buy dog poop bags for it. Lol. Serious. They are small enough and you can get biodegradable ones right here on Amazon and if you have dogs it comes with two bag holders and a portable water bowl. So really it's a win win. 400 bags for I think it was $14.

Like many others, I bought this little bin specifically for my mini-coffee bar. It's currently sitting beside my Keurig and holds used K-cups and sugar packets. It's perfect for its purpose and I have no regrets buying this! Not only does it feel durable, it also looks really nice. Also, if anyone is looking for a trash bag for this bin, I suggest getting the "Arm & Hammer Disposable Waste Bag" (sold here on Amazon). They fit perfectly and makes for easier cleaning.

Never thought I could be in love with a trash can, but I am. Doesn't draw attention to itself, yet is beautiful. I got the rose gold one. Perfect for my desk! I have severe year-round allergies and go through tissues like nothing else. I hate having a pile of kleenex on my desk, and the closest trash can is just out of reach, so this is perfect to keep on my desk without taking up much room. I usually don't like the swivel top lids because they get stuck on the trash if it gets full, but since I plan on using this only for small things and emptying it every day, it won't be a problem at all. Heavy duty, solid construction. These would be perfect for laundry rooms too to put dryer lint in. And if you had a spot in your car, these would also make a great car trash can since they are heavy and won't topple over. I may just order a couple more...

I love these. I have one in every room. Handy for a candy wrapper, sweetener packet, kleenex or any little bit of trash. Problem is I wanted liners so I could just grab and trash. The perfect liner---dog waste bags. I have them on hand for my dogs so using for these cans is no problem.

I am a 75 yr old widower and, my kitchen counter was always covered with the little Splenda pink packets, rip cords on milk cartons, other items to small to make the 5 - 6 foot trip to the trash can so, thought I'd give this product a try. YES, it's great, I now throw stuff into it every time and, will actually make the long ~(;>) trip 6 Ft for the big stuff Just an attractive small container that helps me keep my counter cleaner. The only drawback I found was, I didn't want to have to wash it all the time so, I remembered my wife had a box of cheap disposable shower caps in her bathroom, Since she doesn't need them in heaven, I thought I'd give it a try. So far, it has been about 8 days and, the "swing top" still swings and, the shower cap fits it great. I do not suggest this item for peelings, paper towels or, anything that is large. It is designed and, sized for the small stuff and if you aren't sure how much you collect in a day, just leave your small stuff on the counter for a couple of days. If it isn't a problem, don't buy it but as an example: 3 cups of coffee with three Splenda packets, a bowl of cereal with another splenda packet and, you already have a "PINK" covered counter. Oh, also, I take two pills a day that are foil and plastic wrapped. Yes, I AM TO LAZY to walk the six feet, and open the trash can. Or, at 75, smart enough to make life easy. Go ahead and treat yourself unless, your not worthy of time/energy saving stuff. ADDED INFO 3/13/2015: Forget the shower caps mentioned above! Since, I only put dry "stuff" into it, there is no need to use shower caps P.S. I'm still saving 4 to 5 steps a day by not walking to the BIG trash can. Every little bit helps. ~(;>})

Simplehuman definitely holds up to their standards in workmanship and quality products. I purchased 3 of these countertop trash cans in Brushed Stainless Steel and Rose Gold. They may not hold much due to their size; however, it is best used in the restroom for Q-Tips, facial rounds, cotton balls, etc.; next to your Keurig and Nespresso for the assorted flavor pods, sugar and creamer packets; office for Post-it, scraps of paper, notes, etc.. In addition, these countertop trash cans may be used with baby diaper bags or dog waste bags that you can purchase at the 99 Cents Store or Dollar Tree. Lastly, I definitely would recommend purchasing these countertop trash cans.* *I am a real customer who did not receive any discounts or complimentary item(s) for this honest review, in case you are wondering. =)

Perfect size for my counter. Its over at the "breakfast station" and is used for the coffee grounds and tea bags. The black with a touch of Stainless steel accents is perfect. Easy to clean surface.

This is a fun little trash can. It can be put almost anywhere. I started with one, now for some reason there is two. I think I am going to breed them as gifts. Anyway they are very handy. One in kitchen area for tea bags and sweetener packet empties. They are a magnet for wadded paper towels that used to be all over the counters when I was doing a project. Keeps things neat and tidy. The can has a plastic liner that is water proof, but instead of having to clean the whole can I got these ice bucket liners. http://www.amazon.com/Inteplast-BL060612-Capacity-Length-Gusset/dp/B004NG8Y46/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1414717777&sr=81&keywords=Inteplast+BL060612+3+qt+Capacity%2C+12%22+Length+x+6%22+Width+x+6%22+Gusset%2C+Ice+Bucket+Liner+Bag+%28Case+of+1%2C000%29 Just put the liner in and place the top back on it. Take some scissors and trim for a nice clean look.
