I bought this fun stuff to make Christmas ornaments with my kids fingerprints in the center (to make a heart). They came out so nicely! And my 5 year old helped me from beginning to end... he loved it! He even took out some of his play dough cutouts and made his own. At first the putty is a little hard but after kneading it for about 1-2minutes it became very easy to work with. The more you play with it the easier and more plyable it becomes. In the pictures above I also used letter stampers, gold glitter paint and finished out projects with a clear coat only bc I wanted a more finished looking project with shine. You do not need the clear coat. It looks great either way. I totally recommend this product even with kids! I was even able to get my 1 year olds fingerprints on the clay as well... not hard at all.

Easy to work with, painted up well. I used this for crochet hook handles.

Made some AMAZING christmas ornaments out of this clay. Easy to use and shape, soft enough to squish my 1 yr olds feet into perfectly, and bakes quickly. Excellent value at 1.75 lbs for $15. I made 5 ornaments total with one box!

I'm a noob when it comes to clay/sculpting so this was fun to experiment with. Since i'm a beginner I take a little long to make things so when i was near finishing my design, other areas I worked with earlier started to get a little harder and broke when i was trying to adjust the piece. It's soft enough to work with after you knead/roll it, but once you let it sit and work on another area, it's no longer that soft (not that it hardens, but it's just not a smooth kind of soft...if that makes sense). It bakes very easily in 15 mins and I propped up some areas with aluminum foil in the oven so nothing would droop. One big mistake I made though was, after I baked it and painted over it with acrylic paint, I sprayed it with Modge Podge (since I usually spray that on other works of mine) but it just made the whole sculpture sticky. Then I decided to buy the Sculpey Glaze and that worked just fine.

I was a little worried I did not eneough to make 20 small jewelry bowls as party favors. I had more than eneough and the bowls came out super cute!!

Love that this now comes in white. I used this back in college (too many years ago) when I think it came in only one color - a nude/pinkish clay color. These don't have to be painted if you want a white object. I used these to make Christmas ornaments and place setting tags. I wanted all white with a hint of gold, so I rolled the clay out, used star and heart cookie cutters, then baked according to instructions. Finished them up by detailing them with a gold Krylon K09901A00 Leafing Pen, which I also found on Amazon. They turned out beautifully and I can use them for years to come. Love the white Sculpey!

This clay is so perfect for everything I wanted it for. I've made beads, I've made little figurines.. I can sculpt with it, I can paint it, its very durable. I've used it for beads on earrings. I put the beads (no foil) on a safety pin to form a hole. If you form it around a small ball of foil it wouldn't be too heavy for your ears. It's easy to blend cracks, play with it for a minute, let it sit for a few minutes, it makes it even easier to use. Baking is simple. It doesn't dry out so you can leave it sitting in your craft room for days and days until your next day off from work. Lol it's great and it's versatile, and I just love it.

My sister wanted succulent planters in the shape of animals for her birthday and I didn't want to spend a million dollars, so I decided to make them for her instead! Half of this package made 4 decent sized planters, so I've got more for future creations! Easy to use, easy to bake and seems like it should hold up well. And! If I read correctly online, this is a vegan friendly product, which is always a must for me.

This clay is super fun for the kids to use, and it bakes in no time flat. you might have to work with it a little upon opening the package but it softens right up and stays at a good consistency for sculpting, for kids projects and for prototyping. When you bake it, follow the instructions and use an oven mitt to feel the consistency of the clay a few minutes before the time's supposed to be up. I noticed that the few pieces i've made will become the consistency of a hard rubber with a little but if give and move when they are ready to be done. If you overcook it, it will burn and become a browning color towards where ever it's touching the pan, for long bakes i would rotate it halfway through

Clay is soft and very workable. Shipped fast.
