So nice you'll use them for more than mixing bowls

These bowls are great not just for mixing, but as serving bowls too. On a game night I tossed some snacks in the bowls and the rubberized bottoms kept them from sliding all around as well as keeping them from intentionally being slid across the table. The larger bowls would probably work great to keep a salad chilled a bit longer and the bowls are simplistically attractive to use at the dinner table - haven't used them this way yet, but since getting them I've thought of several ways other than baking that these can be effectively used. Prior to these I had heavy Pyrex mixing bowls and after one shattered into what seemed to be about a million pieces I decided that I wanted stainless steel and am pleased with my purchase. They are much lighter in weight than I had anticipated, yet they are clearly well built and solid. I think this would be a wonderful wedding shower gift or for someone who bakes a great deal - even if he/she already had a set of mixing bowls I think these would be a welcomed addition.

Very well-engineered and attractive

These are awesome. Don't slip, don't scratch, and I get compliments on my mixing bowls. Nicely weighted. Not obvious when you're buying but the bowl will tilt for you pretty easily during mixing, without feeling unstable, which is very convenient. These are well-engineered.

A Great set of mixing bowls!!!!

Very good set of mixing bowls. The quality, the size and the finishing are great. The non slip bottom is very important as you do not want to bowls to move around when you are in action. There is nothing negative about them and I think they will last a long time giving the quality and the durability of the materials used to make them.

Great mixing set

These bowls are great for hand whipping cream because you can freeze it for a few minutes and it will hold the temperature for a bit without freezing your hand. The three sizes give you good options for just about any job. Regular plastic wrap sticks to them pretty well. The rubber bottoms are great for preventing slips, especially on granite counters. The only con I can think of is that they can't be used as a double boiler due to the plastic outside, but I knew that going in, so I can't really hold it against them.

Beautiful stainless bowl set

Loving these so far. They are pretty enough to serve in as well. Dishwasher safe and substaintial weight on the stainless. I’ve had no issues with the finish as other has reported. I do put them regularly Olin the dishwasher.

Better than I thought

These are good in ways you do not expect. Stainless steel inside, plastic outside ... this means cold things stay cold, warm things stay warm while you're working. The rubber bottom means as you're stirring, whisking, etc., it doesn't walk all over the counter—it stays in one place. The pro's in the audience won't appreciate this, they already know, but for us common folk, these will exceed your expectation.

These have been SO MUCH BETTER. Easy to clean

We got these bowls to replace our old stack of mixing bowls that were porcelain coated, and more in number. These have been SO MUCH BETTER. Easy to clean, long lasting (We had the larger one that we'd purchased individually beforehand, and it's 5 years old but I can hardly tell the difference between that one and the new one because it has held up so well), and really helpful. I adore these bowls. Staples for any home cook!

Great mixing bowls.

My favorite mixing bowls! Quality product and they stay put when using. So glad I was able to find this set, have been out of stock in many places I looked for them. Also a great shower gift, have given to the to a few brides with rave reviews.

Perfection

I was looking to replace my heavy glass mixing bowls with something lighter in weight. They had become too much to handle as I grew older and developed arthritis in my hands. These bowls were the perfect solution. They make mixing SO much easier. I can hold the largest bowl with one hand while spooning out the contents. The rim gives me something to grip so there is no slipping. The stainless steel interior is a breeze to clean. They take up no more room than my old glass bowls. The non-skid bottom keeps them secure on the counter. I adore these fabulous bowls and highly recommend them to others. Where were they all my life??

Great for preparing baked goods

I bought these as I began baking more often for myself. I try to only use nylon or silicone utensils as not to scratch the metal, so I can't speak for how well the bowls hold up to metal utensils. Dry ingredients will pour right out leaving almost no trace in the bowls so most of the time all they need is a quick wash and rinse.
