Perfect for making home-made glue dots.
This really is versatile stuff. Apart from my usual crafting endeavours, I've recently been using Aleene's Tack-It Over And Over glue to make glue dots. They're pretty expensive whether bought by the sheet or the roll. I just make lines of dots on parchment paper with Aleene's glue and wait for it to dry - about 24 hours. I then cover the sheet of dots with parchment or wax paper to store until I need it. Very economical, plus I never run out.

Stickiest, tackiest stuff ever. Great for crafts, stencils, small appliques, etc. Waterproof when fully cured.
I think this is just about the tackiest stuff to be found on this planet. Great for airbrush and even sandblasting masks. Make your own tape out of anything. It's a little slow to cure unless you spread it very thin, overnight is best. Water soluble when fresh from the container, but as far as I can tell there is *no known solvent* for it once it's begun to dry and go clear, so may the omnipotent deity of your choice help you if you get this stuff in your hair. You can kinda massage it off your fingers with lotion or olive oil, otherwise just get used to being able to lift things up simply by touching them for a while until it wears off.

DIY Glue Dots
This glue is awesome. I've used it a lot, but the one bottle is lasting very well. I probably am not using it the way it's intended to be used. I'm making glue dots to use with paper crafting. I squeeze small dots of this glue onto sheets of plastic, let dry over night, and when the dots turn from white to clear they are ready to use. When bonded paper to paper, the adhesion is permanent. Economically, I'll likely get at least a thousand glue dots from this one bottle and that's a great deal compared with buying the pre-fab glue dots. So for the way I'm using this product, it is perfect. Unfortunately I can't speak to how it performs in other ways.

Love this stuff!!
This stuff works awesome! Bought this to use on my unmounted stamps. I removed stamps with the foam from wood mount then applied light coat of this to image. Let dry overnight. I now can store these on plastic sheets, remove them when using, affix to acrylic mount, then store again. Really retains the tackiness but not so much it would damage anything if removed.

Tack-It Over & Over, I'll buy it Over & Over
This stuff is amazing! Thank you Aleene's. Depending on what you need it for you may want to place some in a separate container and add water to it to adjust the stickiness. I use mine to refresh the stick on a cutting machine mat. I find just a couple of tablespoons more of water than a 1/2 & 1/2 ratio works marvelously. Let it set for may hours or over-night, if you can once you apply. Clean the cutting mat first though. I plan on lots of experimenting with this product on many more surfaces and see what happens. Go visit YouTube on the Aileen's Tack-it Over & Over then you will know what to do.

Saved so much space!
Someone on youtube recommended this product to make my rubber stamps sticky after removing them from their wooden blocks. Now my stamps work just like the clear ones. This makes them stick to the acrylic and remove easy-peasy. I recommend using a sponge brush with this product. What looks like a small amount really spreads. I'd recommend this product to all stampers that need room.

Another stellar Aleene's product
Aleene's! What can I say? Every Aleene's product I have used has been stellar and this one is no exception. I use it mostly for patches & appliques that I do not want to permanently attach. First I apply a thin layer of Aleene's OK to Wash It to the back. This seals the fibers and keeps the Tack-It from soaking thru to the front. Let that dry overnight, then apply a scant amount of the Tack-It. Depending on the applique, you may only need to apply it on a few strategic spots instead of the whole thing. Warning, once you put Tack-It on a porous surface like fabric it is nearly impossible to get it off. It won't come out in the laundry in my experience. Don't use it in an area which you want to sew thru, as it gets very sticky when cured and will stick & gum up your needle like crazy.

Aleene's makes the best glue in the world
Aleene's makes the best glue in the world. I have an unusual use for this product. I use this for my CPAP sleep apnea mask. It is Non-Toxic and works as a tacky glue similar to the glue on Post-It Notes. It has saved me hundreds of dollars on replacement masks, as the silicone stretches and they won't hold a seal, which is vital to successful CPAP therapy, as most sleep apnea sufferers know. Leaks around the mask are a constant struggle. I have extremely sensitive skin and this glue has not affected me at all. To use this glue for your mask, simply apply a fairly thick even coat of glue on the mask, not directly on your face, learned that the hard way. I have oily skin so I clean my face well first. The glue starts out white and becomes clear when it has cured. A blow dryer speeds up the drying time. When it is all clear, just press the mask to your face, reclining is the best position to be in, and press gently around the perimeter of the mask, sort of smushing it into place. I get 8 hours sleep with no leaks every night. The one drawback is, the glue will stay on your face when you remove the mask, it comes off the mask completely. Be gentle removing the mask to avoid tearing the silicone. then you just peel the glue off your face, it is still tacky and comes off easily. It does for me. I have researched every glue and tape recommended for mask leaks and none give these great results. Unconventional use but necessity proves experimenting with different things might work.

The best product for special education and early childhood education teachers
The best product for special education and early childhood education teachers! This is a great replacement for velcro. I use this frequently and a little bit goes a long way. I have found it to be very useful for visual schedules (laminate the schedule cards and put a small dot on the back, let it dry overnight and it sticks over and over) file folder games (I put a very small dot of this on the back side of the movable pieces after they have been laminated and let it dry overnight), first/then cards, name tags on desks, PECS, etc. It will stick to white boards, laminated surfaces, desks, etc. When the stickiness wears off you just put another dot of this on and let it dry.

BEST PRODUCT FOR RE-STICKING CRICUT/SILHOUETTE CUTTING MATS & APPLYING STICK BACK TO RUBBER STAMPS
I refurbished 10 used Cricut Mats that lost their stickiness in less than 5 minutes! HOW TO RE-STICK A CUTTING MAT: First of all, this glue is too sticky and thick straight out of the bottle, so it needs to be watered down slightly before applying to a mat. 1. I poured about 1/8 Cup glue into a disposable plastic cup & mixed in about 1 - 1 ½ Tablespoons Hot water. The glue needs to be slightly runny so it can be easily spread on the mat. 2. Using a plastic spoon, I drizzled a tiny amount of glue in a "straight line" onto one end of the mat, then used an expired plastic gift card as a squeegee to spread it evenly. Use a wet paper towel to clean excess glue off the gift card as needed. I did NOT remove existing adhesive from mat or "clean" the mat prior to applying this glue, or "tape off" the ends of my mat. It was easy to spread glue with the gift card and control it from getting too close to the edges of the mat. 3. Wait 10-15 minutes for the mat to completely dry. My mat had the PERFECT amount of stickiness and worked great!!! I cut thin scrapbook paper, 65# Cardstock, 110# Cardstock and thin cardboard and had NO difficulty removing cut pieces from mat. 4. I poured the remainder of "Watered" down glue into a dropper bottle and saved for future use. FYI a dropper bottle would be an easier tool to apply glue to a mat. If you get glue on your hands, it's easily removed with rubbing alcohol. I needed to consolidate space in my craft room. I had over 2000 wood mounted rubber stamps that were taking up too much storage space. I removed the wood mounts and applied a thin layer of glue on the back of each stamp. After the glue dried (less than 5 minutes) I was able to reuse acrylic blocks and the stamps stick over and over again. I must have used 8 bottles to stick 2000 stamps!!!! I used 5 ml laminating sheets with 110 lb. cardstock (Parklane cardstock from Joanns) in between. The cardstock made the laminating sheets very sturdy and the stamps stick perfectly. Saved a lot of storage space!!! GREAT PRODUCT!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
