In the past, I would find a pair of Levis that fit great and then order a few more of the exact same Style/Size/Color, but the other purchased pairs would always be totally different and leave me disappointed. Maybe I got lucky this time, but I got a few of the same Style/Size here, and in different colors, and they are feel exactly the same and fit great. One thing I've noticed as well is these pants are a bit large. I am exactly a 32 waist, just measured to check and there's no two ways about it. But the 32 w Levis are way too roomy -- only the 30 w Levis fit my 32-inch waist. Who knows, maybe they're trying to make people feel skinnier than they really are by making these pants bigger, ya know? A marketing gimmick perhaps. Funny. Great jeans.

I am 6'4 and weight 275 pounds. i have an athletic build through my legs but carry a little extra weight above my waist line, and I love the fit of these pants. I accidentally grabbed a pair locally when looking for a slim fit jean a few years ago and just bought my first replacement pair. They are slimming through the thigh and calf without making my legs look like sausages. I have a pair of 511 non stretch waist and they are difficult to wear, making bending over nearly impossible. The little bit of give in the waist line of these pants makes them super comfortable while being really stylish. First time in years my wife has loved the way a new pair of jeans has fit me. I will be ordering a few more pairs in other colors soon!

Levi's 511 jeans have the best odds of being a good fit for me. Buyers should note that fit varies wildly between colours because the different colours: 1. Are made of different materials (some materials have a lot of elastane, some have very little, which affects stretch and fit); and 2. Are made in different countries (a pair of Levi's 511 from Indonesia fits completely differently from 511s made in Mexico, which fit totally differently from 511s made in Bangladesh). As a result, I returned all of the other colours that I ordered; I kept only one colour and then re-ordered that colour only. Levi's has a lot of work to do to normalize patterns to ensure that jeans sourced from different countries all have the same fit. Until they do so, getting a good fit when ordering online will continue to be like playing a lottery.

I Love them and my wife thinks they look great. I am going to order another pair. Slim fit jeans are not just for skinny guys. I have a 48" chest with a 38"-40" man "gut" and 14" biceps,... but because I am a man I do not gain weight in my hips/butt or thighs. Yes, some few men do, but most of us don't. There is also few men who workout at the gym so much that they have big thighs and butts. My biggest problem with any jeans or slacks is the butt and thighs in the pants are big enough for two men to get in them with me.I had the same problem when I was in college at 130lbs with a 31" waist. If you buy slim jeans you don't have all of that extra material in the seat. It works great for me. Now if I could just down to a 36" waist.

I bought these jeans to give them a test. I have been a fiercely loyal banana republic jean wearer for years now. But the 511s are so nice that I've changed my allegiance. Pros: 1. The fit is perfect. 511s fit like a glove. They're definitely a slim fit, so expect that. If you're a gym rat and do a lot of squats be prepared for a tighter fit. 2. The color is great. They're a nice dark grey. You can dress up a little, or go super casual and they look like they were made for either occasion. 3. The price vs. BR just can't be beat 4. The quality is great. A medium weight jean, that isn't too hot, nor too flimsy. They feel like they'll last forever. Cons: none. They're nearly the perfect jean.

Different colours of the Levi's 511 jeans never fit quite the same. It must be intentional since they are so disparate. It may also have something to do with in which country they are made.. Some 511 styles fit very tight at the waist while other 511 styles fit looser at the waist. Then there are some that fit very roomy down the leg while others are quite slim. The Rinsed Playja fits normally at the waist but it's slimmer down the leg than most of the other 511. The 511 sequoia is very roomy by comparison and longer too. It's obviously simply a function of each individual's build which 511 suits one best. For me, rinsed playa is the best 511 style.

Great product. I am a 30x32 normally however these run a little long. Not a big deal to me at all

I usually don't bother with reviews because i almost never feel compelled to write em up but i just have to say that i am confused with some of the negative feedback from some users on these jeans. I bought 2 pairs, the Byrd pair and the Blackstone Stone one. Both are "stretch" versions of the jeans so i can't speak for the comfortability and fit of non-stretch versions. I have to say, however, these jeans fit me like a glove. I'm a male,5'7 and weight around 150 pounds with a 32 inch waist. These jeans are form fitting, not tight at all and tapered for a pretty modern and flattering look. These have a lot of stretch so I can bend, sit and lift my leg without ever feeling any resistance from the fabric--not to mention the washes look great in my opinion! These do sit on your waist low so be aware of that! As far as i can tell, these are authentic and quality Levis jeans as well. Super happy with these so far and will update this post on how they hold up after several washes. So far so good!

This is my second pair. I have the Rinsed Playa (for the love of all your customers change this name) and the Rigid Grey ones. My old jeans were starting to wear down after wearing them for a good 5 years. I followed peoples advice and ordered one size up. I normally wear a 31x30 and I ordered a 32x30. The waist is a good fit however the length is a little long. It doesn't look bad as it is but I may end up getting them hemmed 0.5" or so. The first thing I do is wash these. Then tumble dry on low until dry. Next I will put them on and wear them around the house for a day and by then they are usually stretched out pretty well and the fit is perfect. After about a week of wearing them they seem to have settled pretty well. Sometimes they do get a little tight in the crotch area but otherwise these jeans are good quality, fit, and look for someone that wants a more modern look without spending $100.

Great jeans, I'm 6'4, 190 lbs. They fit great, no skinny, no loose. color is perfect, but it will fade according to all the reviews I've read. My size is 34X36, they run one size smaller than the 501 and 513. If you have big, bulky, weightlifter legs...this might not be for you. If you are tall and slim, they will fit perfect. I recommend going to a store to try for size, before buying online. I also own the 511 Rinse Playa, which have a thinner fabric. I like the Rigid Dragon better. Weight is perfect, not heavy denim, but not light either. the 1% Elastane works great. Sorry about the low quality of the pictures, crappy phone camera.
