Nice Orange Scented Soap!!
I purchased this to use with some of my homemade soap. Different soap bases, fats, end up smelling a little bit different when essential oils are used. I decided to start with a smaller amount of oil with a small amount of soap. After the soap set, I cut it apart and smelled it. It was very subtle yet very pleasant. I increased the amount of oil for the next batch and it was much more pleasant. It did slightly change the color palate of my soap, but because I make natural soap and use natural soap dyes, I adjusted my colorants to make the soap the color I liked. It was easy to pour, and the cap was welled secured. But it wasn't hard to open and the label is very clear and it is easy to read and I can tell which oil I have when I pick it up. The brown bottle keeps the ultra violet light out from the sun so the oil stays fresher longer. Over all I am pleased with this essential oil and the quality for soap making. Because of the saponification process, some soaps need a little more essential oils. It also arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged. This is a good quality product to use and most people that use essential oils for common uses will like it too, but that is my opinion. But I feel like you can't do wrong with price and quality.

Strong, lasting scent! I recommend
Great product. If you’re looking for a strong, orange/citrus scent, I highly recommend this one. I use this strong scent in my mixture of Neem and Castor Oil (natural lotion, great for so many things!) and it really takes the edge off of the scent of the Neem. So sweet. I initially got it because I was trying to make a mixture of orange and vanilla (trying to recreate my favorite Trapp candle scent) and am SO happy with this orange essential oil. I haven’t had as much luck with finding a strong vanilla essential oil but I’ve become quite partial to just the orange and sometimes mix in tea-tree, lavender, or even peppermint to my diffuser. Highly recommend the orange essential oil by Now. I actually think Now is my favorite brand for essential oils. I have only had good experiences with their products.

Great-smelling all natural summer insect repellent
NOW Foods makes terrific natural oil products, and I have two that I particularly count on: the peppermint oil, which is great for repelling mice and spiders in winter, and this sweet orange oil, which is super for repelling all manner of summer bugs including mosquitoes, bees, ants etc. My method of application is to pour some of the orange oil onto a cotton ball or paper towel, and then rub liberally on the entrance door bottom baffle, up the sides of the entrance door, and and on bottom of window frames, and if you have any in-house bugs, to rub it around the bottom wall borders where you have seen the bugs. A second method of application is to pour the bottle's contents into a small spray bottle (the type you find in a store's dollar aisle) and spray it on instead of rubbing, using a paper towel to wipe any drip lines. This oil acts as a barrier to discourage bugs from entering your home, as they absolutely hate the smell of orange oil. There is a faint orange smell that dissipates after an hour or so, and just remember to reapply after a rain for the outdoor applications. A pleasant all natural bug repellent.

Enlightenment On Non-existed Lid Dropper
The product does not have a dropper, the reason why this is topic is brought up is other oils are designed to have one in the bottle. Having bought from NOW Foods before, I was even confused when I saw what looked like a dropper in the cap (knowing some of their other oils have droppers). I mistakenly took it out of the cap to try to fix into the bottle (thinking it was stuck) and learned it was to help keep the oil from spilling down the side of the lid incase it wasn't shut properly. This is where the confusion of the lid having a dropper comes from, it is just a more secure lid, With that being said this oil is used in our natural cleaners for when we clean the house. We are currently working on trying to get this scent into a candle while we play with the great smelling oil looking for more uses.

Smells great as spray but not for my diffuser (Lampe Berger)
Smells great as spray but not for my diffuser (Lampe Berger). Used it for a spray and worked and smells great like fresh oranges but for some reason, when used in my lampe berger, it gives a different scent. My recipe for 8 oz PET spray bottle. 1 of orange oil, 1 tsp polysorbate 20, (1:1) mix well and let it sit awhile... It will give you a clear yellowish color, then fill the rest with distilled water (I think filtered water may work but not sure). Adjust the potency of your formula to your liking. Polysorbate 20 is an emulsifier used to make oil to mix with water. It is a very common emulsifier used in soap and candle making. When you mix Oil with dish washing soap, you do not need to add any emulsifier because it has it already. If you like to refill a soap foam dispenser, just add 5 drops of oil to 2 TBS of dishwashing soap, then fill the rest with water. There are oils that have stronger and more potent scents than others like citronella, peppermint, & eucalyptus have a stronger scent than the orange. I think this is true with any brands but so far I cannot compare orange "Now Foods" brand.

I use a lot of EOs
I use essential oils for a lot of things. I use this brand for the more “main” EOs like lavender, orange, lemon, grapefruit, lemongrass, ylang ylang, etc. they always smell fresh and even the ones I’ve had for a long time still smell great! I go through these particular oils quickly as I mostly use them for a homemade room and fabric spray recipe. I also use in homemade body oil as well as in diffuser. Even dab straight on my skin as perfume sometimes. I recommend this product.

Love it
For diffuser use or cleaning this is the best smelling orange oil I’ve used. The price per ounce is decent, the smell doesn’t seem to go stale or flat, it’s worked well for us in diffusers, in sinks to combat odor issues, and we even used it on plants to repel bugs. Now may not get the best reviews on some sites but I can’t see why when I’m constantly impressed with their oils. For the price you can’t find a better smelling orange oil.

love it many ways in food & drinks
For the price this Orange essential oil was such a smart purchase! I keep finding new foods & drinks to add small amounts to. Great in hot tea and oatmeal. Adds creamsicle taste to thing like protein shakes, frosting, whipped cream, pudding, yogurt, cold ricotta. Better than lemon or orange extract in baked goods.

Great for keeping ants away from your hummingbird feeders.
I feed about 24 hummingbirds all summer. My feeders hang on metal poles, and I had literally an army of big, blank ants traveling up and down the poles. I've never seen ants like these. They can enter the feeders' holes, enjoy a nice swim, drink up the syrup, and find their way out and back down the poles! Those are some high IQ ants. Following hints from other reviewers, I diluted about a teaspoon of the sweet orange oil in about a half pint of cooking oil. I don't think anyone should use a cosmetic oil like baby oil, because they often contain petroleum distillates. Use cooking oil. I thoroughly sprayed the grass at the base of the feeder poles and hand picked the remaining ants. I also cleaned the feeders and filled them with fresh syrup. The ants were completely gone by next morning. I haven't seen another one. The oil solution will discolor the grass, but that is gone in a matter of days. I have not had to treat a second time.

Citrusy fresh "morning" all day!
I didn't associate orange as a pain reliever? Maybe? It does leave your home smelling fresh each time the diffuser is turned on with the orange breaking through like the morning sun. I remember telling someone a few drops of orange and a few drops of peppermint is like breakfast! Lol Orange juice & coffee ... began your day focused, alert and energetic. Great for cleaning the home, fresh smelling laundry, wiping bathoom & kitchen sinks fridge, commode & mopping generally your everything citrusy fresh in a bottle, fresh filtered water, small amount of Castille's Peppermint liquid soap -- and you're off!
