Great item, bad dealer

I was contemplating giving this a bad score, but since the problem isn't with the product, I decided to give this thing a score it does deserve. This thing is DEADLY accurate, probably the best caliper for under $50, and for the most part it works great, but the condition it came in was terrible. First of all, it was covered in all sorts of different colored liquids when it came, it was beat to hell (the case it comes in was badly damaged during shipping, but the tool itself was already bad), the glass on the dial was scratched and had what looked like paint marks, it was obvious to me that it was used and the seller packaged it and sold it as a new item. I already gave the seller a bad review because of this, so I gave this thing 5 stars because it is indeed an amazing caliper, I just wish I had a new one...

Just fine enough

I have only used this caliper a few times. It actually exceeds my expectations going by some of the reviews. This is a practical tool for any DIYer for many non-machinist application. Well built.
