• Beam style torque wrench uses a calibrated scale fitted to the handle to precisely measure torque, graduated tip prevents parallax error
  • Constructed with a powerful steel alloy and a durable corrosion-resistant mirror-chrome finish
  • Intuitive scale is calibrated in both directions from 0 to 150 foot-pounds (SAE); also in metric from 0 to 20 meter-kilograms for quick and easy readability
  • Beam deflection wrenches provide precise readings every time, do not come out of calibration like a drive click torque wrench
  • Both 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch anvils are included for added versatility, the 17” long shaft and grooved handle help to supply ample torque

Had no problem torquing to 150 ft/lbs...from some of the reviews it sounded like that would be super hard. Really wasn't at all. In fact one thing I was supposed to be torquing to 160 ft/lbs and I just went past 150 by an estimated amount (close enough) and no problem there either. Really like it. Easy and cheap way to finally have a torque wrench around the house. Just place tape at the desired number if you have trouble reading and torquing at the same time, makes it easy.

Works great with either 3/8" or 1/2" drive sockets. The adapter it comes with (1/2 to 3/8 drive) will save you money if you've only got 3/8" drive sockets. Both sides are 1/2" drive and you can place the adapter on either side. removable adapter is good so that you can use your sockets on the correct side and see the torque reading since the beam and scale is only visible on one side. I would recommend deeper/longer sockets if you're going to use it for tire lug checks. You may find the sidewall of tires interfering with the beam/handle to properly use. Clearance is already fairly close with my deeper impact socket set and my SUV rim/tires at 265/75/16.

I used this for Armalite AR assembly. It's very easy to use and engages with a standard 1/2" socket attachment. I have no idea how accurate it is, but it seems to work and requires no instructions to use it.

Good quality old school torque wrench. Nothing fancy, no dials, no digital readout and no clicking. And for most Automotive purposes really all you need. 1/2 inch Drive on both sides of the torque wrench head and includes a 3/8 inch adapter. Measurements are in 5 foot pound increments as well as metric. Appears to be well made especially considering the price, really don't see anything wrong with it. I am happy with it and would recommend

Good addition to my torque wrench set. At least this one torque's both ways. The mkg (red) scale is on the outside, so the ft-lbs (black) scale is covered by the beam at the tip point. Seems to be a well built tool. Comes wit a 1/2 to 3/8 adaptor.

Looks exactly like the one I had years ago . . . lost or misplaced forever. Not something I'll use often thus the low cost -- but proven design -- fits my budget nicely.

This is an old-school Torque Wrench that is "analog", in the sense that as you tighten something, you see how close you are getting to your target. If you are in the business of torquing down lots and lots of bolts, then you'll want the other type of Torque Wrench...set it and forget it. But if you need to carefully tighten something, this is the best!

Very nice Torque wrench at a great price. I have used this tool a lot in the past several months and love it. It is not hard to use and the numbers are visible, even though they are a bit small. That is not a big deal though. The quality is surprisingly good. I was expecting something a little cheaper built but this thing is built to last. For those do-it-your self car people, I would highly recommend this tool.

Perfect size for the back of my car, idk how accurate it is but it’s probably more accurate than me guessing, seems to be of acceptable quality and the design allows u to store the adaptor on the opposite side of the head and also when/if the 1/2” drive breaks this will just become a fixed breaker bar due to the dual 1/2” drives, I’m happy with it.

It works as a torque wrench. It has 1/2" drives on the front and back, so you can reverse it depending on which side you need. The 3/8" drive is an adapter which will work with this tool or others. I also use this as a breaker bar because I'm not that strong and this is twice as long as a standard ratchet. (But if you use it that way, be careful not to exceed the force range because you might damage the measuring apparatus.)
