Noticable Difference!
I'm not a huge mechanical mind, but read a lot about these cold air intakes when I bought this one. it does a great job, noticeable improvement in gas mileage. Good sound too!

Great power, Awesome sound
Just installed my CAI in my 2008 Tundra, and instantly felt a difference, quicker throttle responce, faster acceleration and it sounds mean! I ordered my intake on a Friday and got it on Tuesday and I was counting the minutes! I would recommend this filter to anyone that wants too add a little more umph to their truck. Easy installation, just a few tweaks I made to the housing as it didnt fit perfect in the side fender, but other than that I love this AFE CAI, it recieved the majority of positive reviews from many sources so you wont go wrong woth this product!

2007 tundra 5.7 AFE CAI
It took me under 1 hour to install this. It went smoothly as I installed it without the screws tight first to see how it went together. Fit and finish as expected for the price paid. I used the gasket and my intake has a very tight seal to the fender wall. Sound is absolutely amazing at mid-high to full throttle. MPG ? As long as it doesn't go down. HP/Torque? Seems to pulls harder at full throttle, however that is also when the sound from the intake is at its peak.

AFE cold air intake kit 2012 toyota tundra
IT was between the AFE and the Volaint cold air intake kit, I went with AFE just because it fits better and the filter is Huge ...This is a really good air intake made really well. Really feel the difference when you hammer the gas pedal, and it makes your truck really Growl ..

Happy with it so far
Install is fairly straight forward, took me about 1.5 hrs, and I took my time to do it. Adds a definite throaty growl if you rev the throttle while sitting in the driveway. Happy with it so far, we’ll see if it adds any mpg (if I can lay off the gas enjoying the bark).

Very well built and not that difficult to install!!
After reading numerous reviews on Amazon and the Toyota Tundra Forum, I showed some concern about purchasing/installing this CAI. I am very impressed with the quality and relative ease of installation. I installed it on my 2011 Tundra, 5.7L V8 this weekend. It took me about an hour but I work fairly slow and methodical, I don't like to hurry and do things twice. It fit perfectly and with the included rubble seal, it mated to the fender well of the truck nice and tight. The filter itself is huge and I love that it is cleaned with ordinary dish soap and water. No filter oiling required therefore no issue with warranty or possible damage to the MAF sensor. Prefer this one over the aFe 54-81172 which needs oiling. Same box and install, just different filter. Quality appears to be top notch. Amazon parts verification doesn't say this unit fits in a 2011 Tundra but it does. No difference from 2010. Highly recommend if you want a CAI.

Product Awesome not so great instructions.
Overall a great product. Filter is Huge and takes up the area in the box. Fitment went well except for the plastic tube that with a little motivation went into place but not ideal. Grommets that hold the box are fairly easy to insert but not the easiest to get a wrench on. Have not put on enough miles yet to tell if I have gained any mpg but can feel a difference while getting on the gas pedal. With the stage 2 sealed I do not notice much of any whistle that you may get with the open intake system. Beside the tube fit and finish were great. UPDATE: So I have now put on about 700 miles with my Stage 2 SI Pro Dry S intake. After driving some on the highway now I do notice a very nice growl coming from the engine bay enough that when I flat footed it the cars next to me look over. Other wise the intake just at cruising speed I don't hear much of a difference than the stock. When I don't have a ton of bricks on my right foot the gas mileage has increased. I do have a 3" front 2" rear lift with air lifter 5000 bags in the rear a mid rise cap and 33" Nitto Terra Grappler tires and on hwy with cruise set at 70 I notice about 16-17 mpg when I get to 55-70mph I'm up to about 17-17.5. I am very happy with this as it is winter which useally drops your mileage by a little because of running the heat, letting your vehicle warm up and etc. Before the intake I was at about 15 maybe 16 at best so I gained about 1-1.5 mpg. So for the price I paid for the intake and the mpg gain it will easily pay for it's self.

Awesome product! It was easy to install and definitely made a difference on my Toyota tundra. The 5.7 liter engine can finally breathe and you can hear a low growling sound when stepping on the gas pedal. I've noticed a quicker response and an increase of 1.3 MPG. The changes are not that big, but it's better than the OEM airbox!

I have had this on my 2008 5.7L DC TRD Pro Tundra and it has been absolutely fantastic. It has very noticeable performance gains with a great engine noise and even a nice little whistle. Couldn't be happier with any other intake on the market for this truck.
