Very strong blow dryer in both Europe and US

I bought this for a trip to Italy and Germany, and I was so impressed with the strength of this small blow dryer! I’m the person who never travels anywhere without my own dryer because I don’t go anywhere without doing my hair and my thick hair requires a strong dryer- not the useless ones most hotels have. I was worried when I read that when you change the voltage to use it in Europe it could only be on the low setting... but it worked wonderfully! It’s important to know that while that’s true, the “low” setting with the European voltage is NOT the same as the low setting you get in the US, it’s actually stronger. I used this for two weeks in Europe without issue and continue to use it for travel here, it’s replaced my previous travel blow dryer. I highly recommend it!

a nice dryer - even for stay-at-homes

Recently while researching my hair dryer purchase I ran across an Amazon product review that said "I'm a guy - so I don't use hair dryers." Well, once again I am out of my demographic - as in my voting record as an old white guy. I'm a guy, and I use hair dryers, and this one is a good one. I bought it to replace an old travel hair dryer that still worked, except overseas (!). It had a 110/220 volt slider that failed to catch when sliding it over to 220. Not very useful. This Revlon model has a small slotted turn element that can be easily operated by a screw driver or small penknife, and probably the tip of a flatware knife. I wouldn't anticipate that this mechanism for setting the voltage will so easily fail. The setting is unambiguous. After trying the hair dryer out at home once to make sure it works, I find I am now using it all the time, instead of my dedicated home hair dryer. Like my home dryer, it is ceramic based and dries hair quickly. While the number of settings is limited (1. warm and low speed; 2. hot and high speed; 3. cool air) I have not found that to be limiting. What I love about it is it light weight and small footprint. The short barrel makes it very easy to maneuver around my head, and the low weight of course also makes it easy to hold in place. The air-flow attachment is excellent for my purposes. I just keep it in place and use it all the time. So, as a guy, perhaps my hair dryer needs are overly simple and not representative. But even if you don't plan to make this your home hair dryer, I can't imagine a better choice for a travel dryer. The only aspect of this product that I can't address - since I've only had it a week - is its longevity. I promise to update the review in the future if and when it fails.

Works in London

I bought this to use on a recent trip to London and was very pleased with the product. The reviews are right about the setting being difficult to change. I had to use a coin or risk losing a nail. The blow dryer did a great job putting out air (not wimpy) and the heat setting was good like a normal blow dryer.

Best travel hairdryer I’ve tried

I’m miss picky when it comes to hairdryers and I always travel with my own because hotels and AirBnb’s usuallly have lousy ones. Small, lightweight, and portable are great but that’s not enough — I want power and heat and this does the job! And I require a concentrator attachment and this has a good one. I style my hair with a big round brush when drying it so the concentrator is a must and this one stays on well. Had never fallen off even after hitting my round brush and pressing against it while styling. Of course it’s not a top of the line professional but I don’t want an expensive hairdryer in my luggage — and I couldn’t believe this dryer worked so well for such a low price. You won’t regret buying this one as a travel dryer. I’m so glad I have my own dryer now when I travel!

GREAT Hairdryer. I always use 1875 W because I have long thick hair that takes forever to dry. I stayed at a friends house recently and used this dryer of theirs. It was small and compact, so I was gearing up for it taking extra long for me to dry my hair. Total opposite. It shaved at least 1/3 of the time off my normal dry time! Came home and ordered one right away. The only con I have, is that its louder than my other dryers. But if you can shave 1/3 of the drying time off, I'll take the extra noise.

An Excellent Blow Dryer

I purchased this blow dryer because I have thick hair that takes a long time to dry and I was completely over my arm getting tired while holding a heavy blow dryer. I am delighted with this dryer! It's lightweight but does an excellent job of drying my hair quite quickly. The high setting is a bit loud, but I don't think it's even necessary to use that setting, except maybe to dry the roots of long hair for a couple of minutes. The low setting is quiet and blows plenty strong enough to dry my hair without frying it. When I travel again, I will not hesitate to take this blow dryer with me, but its ideal for using at home. I highly recommend this blow dryer.

Super blowing power. I was shocked...

Wow! Blows my old 'travel blowdryer' away. This is one powerful dryer. Now I read some reviews stating it was not hot and no it is not super hot. Probably because if it has ion technology it will adjust according to hair dampness. But I am glad it is not burning my hair and its like a mini hurricane that dries your hair in minimal time and no frizz! Thinking it might be better that my T3. It is also extremely light. My only issue is the power button is difficult to switch but because of that you cant accidentally change the setting when holding it. I think its an awesome little travel or daily dryer. And the price is unbeatable.

Powerful enough for my thick hair

I have very thick hair, so a lot of travel dryers just don't have enough power to dry it efficiently. This one is not quite as powerful as my full size dryer, but definitely does the job and gets my hair dry without taking four million years. Important features for me: folds in half for easier packing, comes with a compressor attachment to cut down on frizz, and has a cold shot button. It's not as small as some others, but it's certainly smaller than my regular hair dryer, while still getting the job done.

Small and compact with a lot of power

I recently bought this hair dryer because I started going to the gym every morning at my office. It is small enough to fit in my gym bag with no problem. I think it works better than my previous hair dryer that was not travel size. It has the same amount of power as a regular hair dryer so it is great for every day use. It does not get too hot. There is only one heat setting but it does have a cold shot if you hold the button down. It has a high and low speed both of which work well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a travel hair dryer!

Going to replace my regular dryer now!

This product is AMAZING. I can’t believe how well this works, it’s weight, and fantastic functionality!!! Literally, I’m blown away. Well, my hair is, this puppy has some power! In all seriousness though, I highly, highly, highly recommend this item! And no, I have not used my regular blow dryer since this one came in. I have thick hair and it works so fast and well! I love that it doesn’t get ridiculously hot too. It gets hot, don’t get me wrong but not scorch-your-scalp kinda hot. A huge plus there!
